Sorry ladies I am in a horrible place atm with my emotions and I just can't seem to get a grip lately. I hate feeling like this, so I am hoping to try to get ontop of things real soon. Just taking a break from the internet atm, as I don't have the time or energy to read or being of any use to anyone. So sorry. I love you all.

sheree - oh i am so sorry you are feeling the way you are, i wish i could help you to feel better, shame its not so easy. i will be thinking of you and please email me if you like. i am sending truck loads of hugs for you, just remind youself please that you are a wonderful, smart, loving woman and a fantastic mum to your perfect little boy lachlan. Try to go easy on yourself sheree.

i have caved in and put Arch back in his cot tonight, can't stand locking him in his room to get him to sleep, feel really cruel but if i dont shut the door on him he constantly comes out and it turns into a game for him. Do you think he can sleep in the cot forever??? Fingers crossed he will sleep better, i transferred him from the bed to the cot after he fell asleep though so he'll probably wake up wondering where the heck he is! Sometimes being the mum is a hard confusing job!

    Morning girls,

Thought i better get by bum into gear and do personals!

Sheree - I'm so sorry your feeling to great at the moment. Just take your time and come back when you are ready. We will all be waiting here for you when you come back. Lots of hugs and kisses to you and lachie.

Elissa - Briley went to sleep and stayed asleep in her big bed all night lastnight! I also changed rooms cause the other room was where the sun rose. So the new room in darker. She is still asleep now!! I had a lovely sleep-in till 7.30am. The first night though she kept coming out of the bed and i ended up putting her back in the cot to fall asleep then Brent transferred her to the cot later on. She would've slept in yesterday too but the geese escaped and were right outside her window making heaps of noise! Damn things! I had to do the transferring thing for the day sleep too. She rolled into the wall and woke herself up after an hour of sleeping and did'nt go back to sleep!! Grrrrr.

Kim - Oh you poor darlings. It all sounds quite dodgy does'nt it. So you have moved further down south yet Cam is going to Qld??? Is that right??? Thats a bit silly. If i lived closer i would come and see you and Darcy. It all takes time honey. At least you will ALWAYS have us! Darcy is probably just spinnning out on everything that is going on. Baby's tend to adjust pretty well though. Will you go back home for Chrissy??? Keep you chin up hun.

Shazz - Great to hear you had a good time the other night. And no hang over! You did well. Was it good to see everyone??? Did everyone look the same??? I can't believe its been almost 7 years since i left school!!! Time just flies does'nt it. How are you going with the Doula course??? I am starting to fly through it now. I am setting aside ANY free time i have during the day to do a bit on it. I am only on Module 1 still but i will probably buy the 2'nd on this week. I can't wait to go to a birth that is'nt my own!! I am meeting with a lady named Phillipa on the 31'st of October. She runs a business called Birth Buddies here in Townsville and i think they'd rather have me work along side them rather than in competition with IYKWIM! See how we go!

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all well.

Its been rather quiet in here lately has'nt it!

    OK now for us...

We are all doing ok. Briley and Colby have caught the flu of my sister though. Briley is coughing and spluttering and is all snotty nosed. Just in time for the pre-appointment for the eye op tomorrow quite conveniently!!! I have been pumping the medicine into her and even brought a liquid multi-vitamin for her. Seems to be helping though. We had chicken soup lastnight.

Briley has just crawled out of bed and its 8.13am!! First thing she says to me is "daddy work!". Daddys girl!!! She is going so well with her speech. She is starting to put words together. Only really 2 words at the moment though. She came up to me yesterday and asked for peas and corn!!! And yesterday while i was moving things from her old room to the new one she was playing around me. She was looking at me saying something but i was'nt really paying attention until i realised what she was saying. One of her toy fish was stuck under a draw on the bed ( i was transferring clothes into the new drawes) and she was trying to pull it out. She was saying to me "Pish stuck, pish stuck!" LOL! She says the same when she gets her fingers caught. So funny.

Yeah so we are off to her pre-op appointment tomorrow at 1.30pm. Then her op date is the 23'rd. She seem to be better today though. I'd hate for the op to be put off again. She really needs it done.

We are going to our first mothers group tomorrow! I've never been to one before and am quite nervous. There are'nt many Townsville mums on here so i went and had a look on 2 other forums and both had mothers group meetings in Townsville. The same day i signed up to them their was 2 other mums, the same age as me, who signed up aswell. I have been chatting to them aswell as a mum i met here on BB on MSN and we are meeting in the carpark tomorrow as they will be newbies to the MG aswell. I have always thought that MG's were'nt my type of thing but i really want Briey to have interaction with other kids without paying for it. This is the best way i suppose. If i don't like it at least i will be able to keep in touch with the mums i've met on MSN and just meet up with them. Between them they have 7 kids!! All but one, a boy 5 months, being the same age or older than Briley! More than enough for her!

Colby is going well. Still sleeping well. I am having a few afternoon issues though. She cries heaps and does'nt like too be put down. I don't think its evening colic. I jut can't work her out. I have been trying something different every day. Yesterday i though maybe i will try and put her down at 6.00pm cause maybe she was tired. So i bathed her and everything and she fell asleep till 7.00pm and i had to get her back up. Then she finally went down at her normal time of 8.30pm. She just seems to want to be on my boob from about 5pm to bed time. She does sleep quite a bit during the day somedays so maybe she is trying to make up for lost time! I don't know. I will figure her out sooner or later

Other than that she is going well. The breastfeeing is going wonderfully! I can't believe i have managed to feed her for this long. Briley only lasted just under 4 weeks. Colby does'nt seem to want too give it up either. When i have tried to give her a bottle during her crying periods she won't take it. Maybe cause she knows i've got the goods! But yeah its all going well. Growing well. Lifting her head and all the rest. I measured her the other day i think she is 62cm and just over 6kgs. A big girl!

As for me, yeah i am going ok. Handing being a mum to 2 under 2 quite well actually. I do have my stressful moment where i just want to break down and cry but its no use. I am really focussing on my Doula Course at the moment. I am quite enjoying it especially as it is mostly "me" time. Brent has been really good with it. He tries his best to look after the girls while i do some study. He is only male though so i don't expect too much from him! I told him how much a Doula can make, once she is qualified, for each birth. Well...he started saying oh well you'll have to do as many births as you can a month!!! I was like bub you have to understand that if one of my clients calls at ANY time in labor, i have to pack up and leave right then and there. No matter where we are. He was like yeah but i can just tell work what you do and i will just come home from work!! YEAH RIGHT!!! I'm sure work will really appreciate that too. He not much of a reality thinking my ol' boy!

Well i better leave it at that. Briley is watching the Wiggles but i should get her some brekky! She is totally wrapped in the Wiggles at the moment. She is going to love Wiggles World when we go their in January!

Ok girl, well i hope you are all well. I will try and keep up with personas now girls. You get so far behind if you miss a bit don't you!

    Take Care!

    Hello there girls.

Well we made it back from MIL’s and FIL’s down south, and it broke my heart seeing MIL sick. I felt so bad cause I was complaining about having a fat day and mum says well I have one boob, and no hair and I feel just wonderful. It really hit home just what she is going through. I just wanted to cry.

The weekend down there was good, but the drive home was crappy. I ended up with gastro on the Monday night, so travelling home yesterday was the pits. Luckily my FIL is an ambo and stocked me up with spew bags, and I had a good stash of gastro stop for the other end. We got home at 7 and I was in bed at 8.
I worked today (well I attended work anyway) and I get home and guess what?........ My DH has it. So now I am just feeling a little better and he’s got it. Nice huh.

    Now for some personals.

Elissa – How exciting about the car!! You won’t know yourself. Way to go Archie sleeping in a big bed!!!! Are you looking forward to the family reunion?

Nat – hope to see you back soon.

Kim - oh you poor thing hun, I wish there was something I can do. Could you email me your new addy? I could not imagine doing what you have done. You are a champion and will get through this. Perhaps I should drive down for a visit… Chin up eh

Shazz – good to hear that the reunion went well.

Sara – hello there. Hope the girls are good and Briley’s teething has settled a little bit.

Sheree - We’ll miss you hon. Take care of yourself and please email me if I can help with anything.

Jodie- How are you. How’s bubby going? Not long now!!! How’s Shaun?

Actually all of you girls, please email me if you need to chat about something. I know I am not really around here much these days but I do think of you all all the time, honest…..

Lastly, I have a gripe. I sent a whole heap of invites for my girls night in and so far 8 out of 26 people have delined. I can’t believe it. Bingo, nutrimetics parties, and Tupperware etc have all come before my FUND RAISER. I am a little ticked off actually. But what can you do?

    Bye for now. Ni nite.

Hi ladies, apologies for not being around much lately I never seem to get much time on the computer and I can't come on at work cause the boss can access a log of what we all look up and when.
School went back on Monday and I am so glad today is the end of my week cause I am exhausted!! The kids are all pretty tired too, I didn't give homework this week cause they are just getting back into it and since it is light so early they are all waking up early and are wrecked by the afternoon.
Riley is finally starting to say more words but not as good as Darcy as Erin keeps telling me!!!! (Darcy made a big impression on Erin)
Sorry no personals, will try tomorrow I promise!

sara - isnt it exciting to see your baby in a big bed! Well done Briley for sleeping through in a new bed nd new room, hope she settles into her big bed really well. Wow at brileys speech! Archie is putting 2 or 3 words together now too sometimes its so cute hearing them try to put words together to express themselves. i hope Briley gets better for the op. have loads of fun at MG, how lucky to sign in at the same time as the other 2 mums! Fantastic to hear tht the breastfeeding is going so well, huge pat on the back to you. im glad you are enjoying your study and Brent is being so supportive. i have been thinking of getting Archie a wiggles DVD for xmas, he ahsn't seen much of them yet but i reckon he'd enjoy them. Wow Wiggles world will be awesome, is that on the Gold Caost?

leanne - oh your poor thing gastro is the pits! hope DH isn't too hard to nurse. fingers crossed Katy doesn't get it. I put Archie back in his cot last night and he has been sleeping better, poor bub wasn't quite ready for the big move. Yeah i am really looking forward to the family reunion, thankyou for asking, am a bit worried about how archie will go sleeping there but what sthe worst that can happen right?! We are looking forward to seeing how the new car will hold up on our first trip away init. oh sorry to hear about your disappointing Girls night in invites, i bet they probably didn't actually give much thought to how much more important it is being a fundraiser and all. Wish i could come sounds like heaps of fun.

christine - sounds like your work would be very tiring in the last term with daylight savings too, luckily not too many weeks to go til xmas holidays woohoo!

had a feel of Archies gums tonight and discovered yet another new molar in there, poor little boy, here's me trying to put him in a new bed when all the while he is in pain from his teeth, teething mucks everything up doesn't it! he went to sleep a lot easier tonight, still screamed a fair bit but im pretty sure it was mainly cause of new teeth. A few months ago when Archie was getting lots of new teeth my GP suggested Pain Stop at bedtime to help with the molars coming through in the future, i went and bought some yesterday but haven't tried it yet, probably should have used it tonight, but i had already given him Panadol so gave him Nurofen as well and he went to sleep. Anyone else tried Pain Stop? i reckon Shazz has used it.....

i have a confesson to make....i ws a BAD mother this morning.....Arhcie was extremely tired so i put him back to bed after breakfast and he just would not stop screaming, i felt so useless and frustrated and angry and tired that i knew if i went into his bedroom i would not be able to help myself i would have yelled at him and been rough and made him feel awful, so i just let him cry out for 45 mins til he feel asleep. I am nearly in tears typing this, especially now that i know he was getting a new tooth....once he woke from his sleep both he and i have been stress free and really happy together thanks goodness. thankyou for letting me get that off my chest.

Righto, my internet connection has been appalling - and I've finally fixed it! Becoming a jack of all trades

Sheree, hope you get on top of things soon. Make sure you tell someone. see you when you're ready. You don't need to be alone.

Shazz, he'll talk soon and you'll want him to be quite lol. I'm not liking the drawn out version either.....guess it's better than the screaming I was getting. You're a doula too? COol!

Elissa I meant that she can identify and say colours -now we've added pink and blue - I'm so proud of her I know what you mean about the door shutting/cot saga. Darcy doesn't actually have a bed becasue the money I was going to use to buy her one - has to go on a washing machine. But, she won't get into a cot of any sort. She's one her little fold out bed in her 'new' room toninght in stead of my bed - we'll see how that goes. DOn't feel bad. I know those feelings all too well, and while you feel bad - it was right at the time. He won't remember a one off. Never heard of pain stop...hope he sleeps. Great news on the car though!

Christine - Erin's gorgeous!!! Bring on Christmas I say!!! I'll be back in mid December - we should try and catch up - please?

Leanne I wish I could come!!! Shame it's not on the 16th Novemebr - I'm in Sydney then. Urrgh at the gastro though. Yuck yuck yuck poor things. Hope he's feeling better soon too.

Sara - great news on the boobs!!! Darcy used to cluster feed at night at that age too. Have you got a carrier/front pack? Exciting with Briley's bed too. We're doing the moving beds thing here too. They do get used to it though. Fantastic to hear your motivation on your course. Really hope Briley's appointment goes well tomorrow too.

As for us, Mum and Dad are coming this weekend (phew - hard to explain the number of sleeps to someone who can only count to 5) and I'm off to purchase a new washing machine in the morning. Been on a bit of a health kick with Cam not here, hopefully it's noticeable by the time I get to see him again - put on 5kg in the month after I stopped feeding.
My job's not great - in fact it's really hard and a huge amount of responsibiltiy - I'm going to either sink or swim i guess, but they're so short I'm doing my old role as well! Oh well, the next few weeks will tell....

    Night.
Oh PS Darcy is doing great at daycare - it's so cute to see her with the other kids.

kik - well dne sorting out your internet connection. woohoo Darcy and her colours! Archie wsn't in a proper bed either, just a foam matress on the floor. thankyou so much for helping ease my guilt about yesterday morning. Its great that your parents are coming to visit, well done on the health kick, im sure Cam will notice how extra hot you are. Darcy can count to five!! She is a wonder kid that one, Arch can sort of count to three only sort of though. Glad Darcy is enjoying daycare, that must be a huge relief for you, im sure you will swim not sink.

shazz - glad Ryan is peacefully sleeping poor little guy. i haven't tasted the Pain stop but i did open it up and have a whiff, it certainly doesn't smell like cherry flavoured, eeeeeew yuck! Great to hear taht the pain stop seemed to do its ob last night, i love nice cuddly mornings too, they dont happen often in this house, Archie has better things to do than relax in our bed...

nat - great to hear from you! happy to hear that you are nice and settled in the new place, how is Em tackling the stairs?

For the first time in a very long week, Archie has gone to sleep peacefully with not a single cry, hopefully that means we are back to the old Archie i perfer.

lol Shazz I taste everything too.....I wish Darcy would snuggle - she's a nightmare to sleep with. Poor thing fell out of bed last night and got wedged next to the bedside table at 3.23am- woops.

No probs Elissa Yes she knows the numbers to 8 but can only gat 1-5 in order. I have OCD and seem to have passed my necessity to count everything onto her lol.

I have a new washing machine!!!

People must have heard my gripe...... I have had three acceptances to my girls night in today. I am feeling better already. I hope we raise some good money.

Back to normal healthwise. Just had a cup of coffee and a chockie bikkie so I am so so happy!!!

Kim, DArcy does sound like a wonder child. Katy knows what One two three is cause I always count to three just before I tell her off!.... One day she is going to say twooooo when I say oneeee. She is so cheeky ay. We'll have to meet up when you are in Sydney. I am off over Christmas new year if you are around.

Well almost time for me to go home so better get myself organised,. Might pop in tonight - hopefully we won't have any sick people at home and it can be a 'normal' night.

leanne - great that you have got some acceptances for the Girls Night In! So glad your gastro has gone. hope you get your 'normal' night.

Just gave archie a dose of pain Stop so am hoping for a very painfree and peaceful night! the gross taste didn't seem to worry him, not surprised though he has Losec twice a day and that stuff is so bitter tasting.

    Archie said 'toilet paper' today.
