A sandwich artist Elissa - boy that sounds interesting.
Sheree way to go your clever little man!
Shazz, I am sure you blitzed your exam today.
Well I have finally finished my first assignment! Yay. Just putting the finishing touches on the formatting and then I can submit it. Gee I hope I pass
I think the flu has finaly left our home. woo hoo
Thanks Elissa and Leanne. It sure is hard to believe how big Riley is compared to what lachlan was. I am loving havin a chubba bubba thou and so proud that he still breastfeeding and going strong. Tried to put a bottle in his mouth, but won't have a bar of it. Fine by me thou.... Although it is very demanding feeding and the whole responsibility is always on you. I am passed the milestone where Lachlan refused my breast, so I am feeling ontop of the world about that! I was very nervous at we were nearing it, but been past it for a week and a half now.
leanne - well done on the assignment! Feels so much better once you have the first one down.
Something is seriously up with my son. All day today he has been super agressive. Absolutely can not be reasoned with at all and if i go against him on something he will yell and call me a b@st@rd! He has even thrown things at me. The last few days and nights, it has been a huge battle to get him to have his arvo sleep and at night it will take him hours to get to sleep then he will be up at 5-6am. He was perfect for a fortnight, sleeping a few hours during the arvo and 7:30-7:30 at night, beautiful behaviour, now all of the sudden this! The awful agressive behaviour could be because of severe lac of sleep, but now im thinking what if it is something else? He has been very clumsy too, but that could be from tiredness too. I hope he wakes up happier tomorrow. Gave him a dose of Panadol just now, just in case he has a sore ear or something?
Just poppin in quickly to let you know that I have finally found a place for the girls and I. We moved in over the weekend.
Don't have the net connected as yet but will in the next 10 days.
Brent and I still kinda together....He has stayed at my house a couple of nights while I got settled and helped me move. He's making a few other things difficult for me but thats life i guess.
The girls are good. Briley is speaking so well. Growing up to quickly! Colby is developing an attitude! But is still such a baby! I am enjoying her so much.
Sorry no time for personals. I am on Brent's computer so can't be long.
Congrats to Kim for making it to the 2'nd trimester! No turning back now hun! Its all looking forward!
Sara im so glad you found yourselves a house! cute new pic of the girls. Hope you are back in here soon to chat more x x
I am half way thrugh making a triple chocolate mousse tart, oooooo yeah! So thats another 2 kilos to add to the scales....Have started doing some soul searching atm. Archie and I were walking down the main street and he happened to walk into this 'hippy' kinda shop and struck up convo with the owner lady. Turns out we stayed there for a while and had quite a deep convo with her about life, very interesting, lovely lady, think i will be spending a bit of money in her store. Bought a book 'Journey of souls' she has just finished reading it and couldn't stop talking about it, so should be an interesting read.
Jay's Dad is coming up here for tea on Sunday night, a HUGE step forward in their relationship! I am SO nervous about what to cook (i can't cook) and how to entertain them though, its good to have a 2 year old to take everyone's attention though.
I put a Father's Day message in the local rag for Jay tomorrow, think he'll be thrilled with it. Tomorrow Archie will be painting some canvas' for all the fathers in the family, i am looking forward to it, b ut hoping he has an ok attention span.
Elissa: Have you heard back from that job yet? GL, hope you get it, it sounds interesting! Jayden has been behaving a little aggressive at times, hitting, yelling and throwing tantrums then all of a sudden he is sweet as anything....maybe just the age or in Jayden's case it could be the jealousy setting in.
Sheree: YAY on the 12hrs sleep! Ash hardly slept at all yesterday but I think it was my fault, I had my 2nd cup of coffee since Jayden was born so I'm guessing coffee doesn't agree with her, she got no more than 1.5hrs during the day on and off then went to sleep properly at 7.30pm, I woke her up at 11.15pm for a feed then she slept through until 6.20am....I'm happy with that but my BB's weren't and Ash couldn't attach cause they were too full, so she has had her 1st bottle in a week.
Sara: Thats great about the house! I hope you and Brent can work it out, just take it slow I guess.
Leanne: Yay on finishing your assignment!!
Hello everyone else
We are going to the airport today, SIL#6 is flying to Bris so I thought I'd take Jayden to see the planes and we can visit Chris at work while we are there. Jayden is much better now and no more temps but his mood is still pretty bad at times. Well he has just woken up now so I better change his nappy...very stinky!!
Have a great day girls! oxox
Hope everyone had a nice Father's day. We had a quiet one but it was nice, DH and my dad moved my oven so DH can build me a pantry which I am excited about, I am lucky that he is so handy and that dad has an electricians licence.
2 more weeks of work then I have 3 weeks holiday!!! My FDC lady is going to germany the week before the school hols and the whole hols so I am having the last week of term as long service leave to mind Riley and I have 3 weeks with no childcare fees WOO HOO.
Sheree- so glad Riley is feeding well and being such a good bub.
Elissa- hope you get the job. Archie sounds like Riley he is into punching and kicking things too, he's a bit of a wild child.
Sara- glad you got a place, hope you and Brent can sort it out.
Shazz- congrats on your results, I read your FB.
Tania- how was the airport? Glad Ash is feeding again, she is such a cutie, are you loving having a girl?
Kim- where are you???? hope you are OK.
Leanne- hope your whole family is well and not still suffering from the many bugs which seem to be in Sydney atm. My GP said its all from the pilgrims who brought in all these new bugs we have no immmnuity to, she said she has seen viruses she had never seen before this winter.
tania - i reckon the aggressive behaviour is just an age thing, them trying to assert themselves and test their boundaries, it seems that if i stay consistent he gets over it quickly. Hope Jayden enjoyed the planes.
christine - woohoo on the new pantry, and a huge woohoo on the upcoming holidays! It must be an age thing, i feel relieved now.
We had lovely Father's Day, i cooked dinner for FIL and family last night and it was a huge success. Only 2 days til we go to Melbourne and spend some quality fun family time, yay!
