Dammit 7th... I've lost my touch......

Kass - Izzy's 2nd tooth popped up on Sunday without a grizzle or sign - so odd. There are other times that she grizzles, drools and gets the red cheeks and each time we think a peg will come out - but it doesnt and it comes weeks later I think they bother her more under the skin when they are moving around than when they actually break through.

Lulu - yay for fluffy mail!!

Shell -Bad luck about the weather- it was glorious here today! I can gloat and say that because the majority of the year round our weather is *****ty!! :P Yay for one feed too. We have just decided to not feed Izzy overnight at all but its not working so well. Such a catch-22 - if I regularly feed her when she wakes up, she slowly wakes more and more frequently until we are back to waking every 2-3 hours again and we have to start all over again. Problem is the whole sleep school thing is touch and go too- sometimes she will settle in 20 mins or so, others like last night it was over an hour and I ended up having to feed her anyway and end up tearing my hair out wondering what the hell Im doing wrong. Arrrgghhhhhhh - anyway I keep telling myself it wont last forever but man it feels that long already!

Sarah - two words, cheeky brat

I should be cooking dinner while DH is at soccer training but am exhausted from cleaning and tidying and washing all day that I just need to sit for 10 mins.... Im freaking out about work now, how will I do all this PLUS work 2.5 days a week?? i know I should be thankful that I can work part time etc... but it's just stressing me out. Im working on a little timetable and food chart for my mum to follow coz Im stressing about what food she will shovel into Izzy while Im not here too. Last visit, dad tried to give her the icing off a banana cake- WTF!!! Its pure sugar!! Luckily I was holding her at the time and he copped an earful.
Enough from me! Have a great night chickies!!

Lulu-Do you like the WC? I think it's delicious, just a pity Blake would writhe everytime he had it on and would wake every hour at least I think he needed the next size up rise wise though...

    Hi everyone,
Sorry i'm not around much but working four days a week and trying to get as much time with Livvy as I can is taking up a lot of my time.

Sarah - Bugger about the people canceling the invites. That would have annoyed me. Plus I think that is a bit rude. How's little man going? Mobile yet?

Tan - I'd be really p!ssed off about the car too. It's so frustrating when they just drag out the last few days. Don't they realise how hard it is without a car when you have a baby? Don't worry too much about going back to work. I know it is only the second week but I'm managing to work four days, study and still do everything that I was doing before. Unfortunately I don't get just to sit on the ground and watch Livvy as much as I always have to do doing something at the same time. So basically it's like I"m folding the washing while Livvy is on the floor crawling around when I used to sit on the floor with her. We adjust and I am continuously surprised about how much a mum can fit in a day.

Shell - Send some of that way my way. We have high 30's all the time. It's still 33 degrees here. How is everyone feeling?

Kass - Like Tan said sometimes Livvy suffers terribly with her teeth and then she will pop a tooth through no worries. Hang in there petal because the best thing this is a phase that will end. YAY!! How have you gone meeting people to have a coffee with?

Lulu - I love your posts about your pg as it brings back so many memories. I loved all the weird dreams I had. How's your little princess going? She is going to be a great big sister and teach Ned to sleep beautifully just like her. How have you gone thinking of something else for her breaky?

Danni - I have no idea how you are still standing. I sure wouldn't be. You are an amazing mum. I have no tips to pass on to you but am sending you heaps of hugs.

Ash - Your little man walking yet? LOL!! I honestly don't think it's going to be long before you tell us he's off. How have you gone getting everything sorted out with your ex and his housing etc?

I know I have missed some but I can't get back to the other thread so I've had to go off my memory which is just not what it used to be. LOL!! But sending out a huge hello to anyone I missed and I'm sorry.

I can't remember who asked about TTC #2 but we have talked about and providing I get a contract at the end of this one we will start TTC June. If I don't get a contract we will be starting mid March. It did take a while with Livvy so goodness knows who long it will take us this time. I would love to be already trying but I need to wait so I get maternity pay next time. Bugger because I am so clucky and i'm petrified that it is going to take as long or longer next time and there will be a big gap between our kids and I don't want that. I keep having nightmares that I can't have any more kids and that would break my heart. I know that we are so incredibly lucky to Livvy and I would never change that for anything but I would love to be able to give her a sibling.
Nothing new here. Livvy's crawling is amazing. It is just so adorable when one of us walks into a room and she sees us she starts crawling towards us for a cuddle. It just melts my heart, it's just so b!oody adorable. She is into absolutely everything. I spent the morning folding the washing and stupidily left it in baskets on the floor and little madam had it all over the floor before daddy noticed.
Work is going okay and I'm starting to settle back in, thankfully. Now all I have to do is hope that I get a job at the end of my contract. I've already got everything crossed.
Better go and get some sleep. Got to work again tomorrow but then I've got two whole days off with my little princess, YAY!!!
    Have a great night girls,
    Luv Dan.

Dan, good to hear wrok is going well. I can't believe you are working 4 shifts a week, that must be so hard! I totally respect working mum's, to see how they fit everything in to one day!!! I can't get housework done now, let alone if I was working full time on top it. I am lucky I spose, I am just going to do night shifts for awhile. Yes, I will be tired, but we need the money and it is hard leaving 3 kids with someone, and childcare for 3 would be to expensive. SO, 12hr nights it is for me!! I'm sure you will get offered a job!!! Midwives are in such demand, and I'm sure you are great!

Tan, wtg with all the cleaning!!! I have been so slack with this rain, I currently have washing all over the lounge under the fan trying to get dry, the dryer shat itself a few months ago, so with no sun here it is getting desperate!!! I can't believe how they are stuffing you around with your car. I would be sooo mad!!!! I hate taking my car in even just to get a service cause I hate not having a car. Good luck, hope you get it back soon!!

Kass, yes, teething sux. Not sure why Angus had a restless week last week, but he has been much better the last 2 nights. Only 1 feed again last night, and I never gave him the formula last night, so he must have been feeling unwell or there were teeth moving around.

Ash, how is everything going?? How is that new man!!! Come on, keep us updated!!!!

Oh, will have to come back later and finish personals, my boy has decided he would like brekkie now thank you very much!!! Better go cook him his porridge!! Have a nice day!!

Dan-Lol no, not walking yet but I think by 10 months he will be. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!! That's the last thing I need lol except maybe he will be less frustrated and wear himself out more. They say with each new milestone their sleeping goes a bit funny so fingers crossed when he does start his sleep get s bit better.

Shell-Well no news on C, I dunno we've been chatting but it might just be more of a friend vibe. I'm cool with that, he's great but I just don't think it will go anywhere.

Blake was awake 5 times last night, it's beyond a joke. Danni, why are out boys so in sync??!?!

On a positive note, Blake is DEFINITELY saying mum and bub now, and no dad yet hahaha!

Morning all.....hope all the bubbas slept well last night.

Dan that was me asking about TTC #2. Wow sounds like there will be a few bfp's this year, how exciting! DH and I had a chat about it last night. We can see advantages and disadvantages about having our babies close together and still didn't really decide on anything! Anyway we are both going to have a think about it. Glad to hear that work is going well for you, I start next week so I'm a bit nervous!

Tan how frickin frustrating about your car, I would be so mad as well. I hope they sort it out and you get it back asap. Ggggrrrrrr!

Kass how is Bella going? A few weeks ago we were sure El was getting a toothy peg, she was so grizzly and had red cheeks, really disgusting nappies and red swollen lumps in her bottom gum. But still nothing?!

Whoops better go, hello to everyone else! Little Miss is waiting for breakfast......like Angus she doesn't like to be kept waiting for her food.

Oh no Danni, you poor thing.
I don't know what to suggest - teething, ear infection? Dammit wouldn't it be so much easier if they could tell us what the problem is?

Unfortunately Lis, Mason has been sleeping like this regularly for months. Blake isn't much better. We can't work it out and either can the doctors...It sucks, it really does

Ash and Danni - big hugs to both of you, tell your little boys to be good to you or else!!!!!
Lis - Good luck back at work, how many days are you working?
Ash - Ethyn says mum no dad yet even tho I have been trying to teach him to say dad for a while now.
Lulu - Hows your fluffy mail? I love fluffy mail, I am in the process of trying to get another night nappy, I love the ones I have so am looking for them, very hard to get considering they don't make them anymore!!!!!! There was one where I got my other 2 from but it was pink, don't think hubby would have like that!!!!
Well I'm back to work tomorrow, the last 2 days off have been great, might have to do it again soon!!
    A big hi to everyone

Dan - no luck on the brekkie front yet but I'm on the look out for the Raffertys stuff - not sure they sell it in WA yet though cos I can't find it. Thanks for the link Kristen and Tan. Crossing fingers for you that # 2 doesn't take as long as Livvy.

Danni - huge hugs chicken. You poor love. I don't know what to suggest either - just wish I could give you a break for a while so you could get some rest.

Ash - the WC nappy looks great. Stupid question though - do you use all the inserts or start out just with the nappy and see how much you have to boost it?

Lee - I hope you can find the nappy you want. Annoying when you find one that works really well if its not available.

Has anyone else found their bub is suddenly very clingy? Izzy is pretty good normally and will happily play on the floor while I'm in the room but lately she's got grizzly if I'm not sitting on the floor next to her - and she'll just turn and hug my leg or something every few minutes and go back to playing. The worst thing though is if she gets upset or if she's a bit tired and cranky she screams the place down if DH tries to cuddle her, and holds out her arms for me to take her. As soon as I do she's quiet and snuggles into my neck. Its not as if she doesn't see her daddy much - he works from home so she sees him on and off all day and he just adores her (and she him - most of the time!) It started being cute - "oh, she wants Mummy" - but now its frustrating and I feel bad for DH.
