HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!! Hope all your little ones had a great day and easter bunny was really generous. Livvy had an easter egg hunt and it was so cute. She refused to let go of the first egg she found so I had to do the rest. Great start to the day. Good luck with testing on Tuesday Shell. Hope you get the result you want!
We'll be in on KK. Olivia is the 9th May.
Catch up soon everyone. Just finished work and start again at 7am so I'm off to bed. I'm buggered.
    Have a great night everyone.
    Luv Dan & Olivia

Ooooh Shell. Have you reached that "I don't know what I want the test to say" stage yet??? I really hope it comes up whichever way is best for you. Geez, you've got better self control than me though - I'd have tested AGES ago!!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Easter!!! Juz and I just got back from Toolondo with his parents at their shack which was great fun, it was nice to get away for a few days considering I have to work f/t over the next 2 weeks to cover someones shifts.

Not too much going on here, may not be able to participate in the KK because I leave for Canada in the first 2 weeks of May, if it happens before then, let me know and I will be up for it. Noah has had his 2 bottom teeth for a while now but now the top right front one is on its way and sleep is going nasty as a result. I hope it doesn't take too long to come through, the bottom ones took a week :S

It sounds like all of our little ones are growing up well and the 1st birthdays are just around the corner. Sometimes it only feels like about a month since my waters broke and I was on the way to the hospital to meet my little man and now he chats away and crawls around the house at full speed destroying everything he comes in contact with.

Sorry for the lack of personals, I have so much washing to do and I want to have the house spotless before tomorrow so my workload is less during the week, nothing worse than working and coming home to a pig sty!!! I just filled 5 rubbish bags for the op shop out of my closet and now to sort through the nasty pile of papers starting to fall out of my mess cupboard

Hope everyone had a great easter and I will try to catch up when I get a chance!!!

Shell - please go do a pg test NOW and let me know lol! Suspense is killing me, ha ha ok sorry I'm not the most patient person.

Tan you are such a superstar putting that list together! OMG there are more of us than I thought!

Hope everyone had a lovely easter, ok how much choccie did we all eat? I was a very good girl and barely had any, unlike last year where I was hugely pg and scoffed every easter egg and hot cross bun in sight lol! Sorry for the quick post, have to go and get some work done.

Catch up with you all soon!

Oh my god... blake just deleted my mammoth post waaaaa!

I'm in for the KK thing for sure, we should do it like SS and put our likes, dislikes, clothes size etc....just a thought.

Blake is running around now, alot of mum's in public ask if he's 18 months old due to hiz size and physical ability...but I'm worried about his speech. He says plenty of syllabals(sp) but he only uses mum and dad in the right context (haha to his father cos he calls Dave dad too). Will check with gp at his 12 month appointment in a couple of weeks.

I got a job and I start Monday-25 hours a week at a real estate; should be good for my sanity and hip pocket. Blake will be going to FDC which is good for him, he loves all other kids and is so tired when there are 2 or more to keep him busy.

Scott has thrown our 50/50 agreement out the window, and now only wants him 1 night a week, fkn typical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's all so very nasty again now, one minute we're cruising, the next he is threatening me and telling me I'm a terrible mother and all sorts.

Blake is waking once a night most nights now which is good, and has a 9am and 2pm nap during the day for a total of 2-3 hours, so we're finally getting a routine set up. He feeds himself a bottle to sleep, or he cries for a few minuts before nodding off. CC is the best thing that's happened to us to be honest with you. I wouldn't reccommend it if you're not comfortable with your baby crying but it truly worked for us and I can't sing it's praises enough. He is a much less whingy baby whilst awake too which is seriously done wonders for my demeanour!

Right well we're off, we're having a sleep over at Grammy's tonight (off for my intake appointment for mediation re custody tomorrow and I'm having mum as my back up/support).

I hope all is well and I can't believe how quickly this year has flown!

Much love and hugs to you all (by the way I MISS YOU GUYS TERRIBLY!)

    Ash and Flakey xoxo

Ash - I really wouldn't worry about Blake not really talking properly yet. Izzy isn't talking at all - making lots of sounds but no real words. I spoke to by the MCHN and my GP about it and both said its pretty common for babies to develop either physically or speech wise at this point - both Blake and Izzy are walking so they're pretty obviously gone down the physical side. Poo about Scott being a wally - makes an unpleasant situation even worse. Hope you get it sorted out soon. Yay for better sleep though - you must feel like a new woman.

YAYYYYYYYY Tan. Now you can relax a bit and enjoy your growing bump. I'm like you - tend to have a bit of a sook when everything's ok in the scan. Such great news for you. YAYYYYYY

Yay Tan, glad to hear your little gumnut is happy and healthy! I remember also having a teary at my 12 week scan, so you're not the only one. Ok its time for you to relax now and get really excited, ha ha and I don't want to hear otherwise ok?? Do you have a baby bump yet????

Ash congrats on the job, I hope you enjoy it and sounds like Blakey will have a great time at FDC. Sorry Scott is being such a twat, seems he should just make up his mind how much he wants to see his son and stick to it. I hope that the nastiness stops soon......:hugs:

Lulu so is Izzy walking on her own now? I have visions of a beautiful heavily pg woman chasing around a teeny tiny tot all day, he he he sorry you probably don't find that amusing at all. Feel free to cyber slap me.

So is everyone planning first birthday parties?? We have quite a large family and so were thinking about a bbq in a park except it may be cold and raining in May. Not sure what to do yet, our house is way too small to fit everybody in. Oh well, will keep thinking!

Gotta go, have a lovely day everybody!!!

Sangie - We are doing exactly that for Livvy's 1st birthday. A BBQ in a park regardless because our house is going to be packed up because we are moving 6 days later so this place is going to be filled with boxes. Just got to cross everything that it doesn't rain. If it rains we will probably end up at Hungry Jacks or something classy like that. Isn't it funny, I was only thinking about Livvy's invitations this morning. Can't decide if I want to buy them premade or make them myself. Decisions, decisions.

Tan - on gumnut bouncing around. I did cry during the ultrasound but I broke down in the carpark because I just couldn't believe we were actually having a baby. Should have seen the looks I got, LOL. How is that gorgeous girl of your? Walking yet? And how you coping at work?

Ash - YAY on Blakey walking!! Sorry you are having such a hard time with your ex. He is just being a twat!!! But YAY on your job. You will love it. It is so nice to do adult thing again and adult conversation is great. You also learn to appreciate the time you have with our babies. I hear you on controlled sleeping/comforting. It was so hard the first few days that it nearly broke my heart and I cried as much or more than she did but like you for us it was a god send and saved us. We used it as our last restort but now Olivia is a completely different baby and it's just fantastic for us. If she is sick or has a few bad nights it only takes one sleep where we use controlled comforting and she is back in her routine. We will do it with our next baby if we need to without hesitation.

Shell - Sorry about your BFN. It is so hard not knowing what result you want. Are you going to talk to your DH about TTC or is he happy with your family as it is now?

Lulu - How exciting that Izzy is walking. At least she is going to be mobile before Ned is born. Trust Olivia to be different. She isn't 'talking' but happily babbles away all day and is walking with her walker and happily crawling. So she decided to do them both equally. What did you end up deciding with your pram? Got a name for Ned yet? I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy has gone (well for me anyway, LOL!). We will be reading your birth announcement before long. I'm a little jealous you get another baby. It's easy for me to say that because I'm not heavily pregnant chasing around an 11 month old and feeling like crap and over being pg. Actually now i'm sending you heaps of hugs. Hang in there gorgeous. I'm incredibly clucky at the moment.

Danni - How's the packing going? Not long to go now. How is that little man of yours travelling? Is he sleeping for you guys yet?

Olivia is cutting laps all day everyday around the house with her ride to stride walker. Her balance and walking is developing everyday. I don't think she will be crawling still at her 1st birthday. Apart from that nothing really exciting going on here. Just working and playing with an occasional moment of packing. We are off shopping today because it is absolutely freezing here and Olivia has no winter clothes. Poor little munchkin has three layers on trying to keep her warm. She looks like the michlin (sp?) man. It's such a shame I have go shopping .

Anyway better go and get organised so we can head off when Livvy gets up. Have a great day one and all.

    Love Dan & Livvy.
