Tan- I like the way you think about the being negative or positive and that exactly how we think. It's all part of being a bubba and becoming a parent meant trying to enjoy the crazy times also ;)
Toddler Tactics? Where do I find this?
Yay for DH being home from now on till bubs is here!!! How does Iz go in her big bed? I was looking at a really beautiful one the other day but didn't know if its a little early?
Lulu- Things seem to be looking up very much so in your house!:clap: Well done to you and your family in the hard work you put in. It's obviouly paying off! It's a amazing how much better we take on the day when the sun is out!
D- Sorry to hear you have acute sinusitis. Can you please explain what it is ? Damn AF! Keep trying I want another pg to live vicariously (bad sp sorry) through!
Jade- Hows your foot? God what a strang bone to break! Will it be easy to mend?
Sangie- Did Ellie end up having that sleep in?
Dan- TTC#2 in 5months if eveything is in order, relationship, my own mind etc because right now Im very foggy in my head and now wouldn't be a good time :( But 5months of good weather I bet will change how Im feeling;) Good luck at the FS if it comes to that. Cant wait to hear Livvy will be a big sister!
Ok mummies Im very sorry if I have missed anybody.
At the moment I really need to get out of the house as Im thinking to much and going INSANE!!!
Something stupid set it off, you'll all think Im an idiot but Im telling you anyway.
Dp sister posted a photo of her when she was a baby on facebook with a caption saying "Is that you Annabelle???"
Now I know it sounds petty but this really p!ssed me off as everything Annabelle does hes sister doesn't think it has any part of me. Trust me Annabelle is alot more like me then Dp sister!
Example everytime I say Annabelle is doing something like how I would do it Dp sister says " No I dont think so, Annabelle is doing it more like blah blah would."
She has even said Annabelle looks like my step sister! My step sister has NO blood relation to us what so ever!
To be honest Annabelle looks like her dad until you see pics of me at her age. She is very much like my family.
But to try and make me feel as though my child has no part of me makes me feel sick and really p!ssed off! Even clint said the photo didn't look like Annabelle :wall: Help?!
She prob isn't meaning to be an idiot but makes me mad thinking she honestly thinks my baby has nothing of me, because she does! Maybe I need people to agree with me look in the gallery and tell me if Annabelle has anything of me. God Im sad now :( And seriously need to get out of this house!
-
Hiya all! :hello:
Dan & D - sorry about nasty AF :(
Dan - good luck at the FS hun. Are you going to go on clomid? Thanks for the warning re: Elena not sleeping in new house. I'm going to take some time off work when we move so if Ellie decides not to sleep then at least I won't have to get up and go to work! Yep loving the sunshine here too! Livvy sounds absolutely gorgeous following her dad around.
Tan - yay for your DH being home! Take full advantage and make sure you get some rest before your prince arrives! Is Izzy sleeping better now?
Kass - LOL at Annabelle looking like your step sister, how ridiculous! Chin up hun, just ignore them, sounds like it isn't worth being too upset over it as clearly they have no idea! I hope you got out of the house.
Lulu - hope things are still going well with you and your princesses.
Can't remember who asked about molars but Ellie doesn't have hers yet either. She does have big red swollen gums though so maybe they aren't too far away. Planning on taking my girl shopping today - target has 20% off kids clothes so might go check it out! Hope you all have a super fantastic day :D
-
Hello gorgeous ones!
Kass - sorry to hear about DP's sister hun - just ignore her hun and I hope you were able to get out of the house! You can buy Toddler Tactics through the online store on here babe. I got mine on the Huggies book club site though.
Lis - how did you go shopping today?? Pick up any bargains?? I saw some gorgeous non PINK stuff at Target the other day might have to go and layby some stuff for summer for her! Izzy is sleeping much better! Yay! She still wakes early some days but most days she gets to at least 7. She is on one day nap now and it is generally 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours which is great. Shes just a happy chatty girl - I swear she is learning one new word each day now! Today it was "more" too cute! Izzy has had her molars for a while now - but she has huge gaps where the eye teeth will come through - looks pretty funny!
:hello: to everyone else - Im tired and need bed! Im 37 weeks tomorrow girls can you believe it! Im SO excited! Off to have acupuncture, have chats with Kelly and going to the Henci Goer seminar on Sunday so am feeling just grand! I just can't wait to birth this little man! :cheer:
Off to the St Andrews market in the morning - I broke one of our lovely hippy mugs so we need more! Have a great weekend all - mwa!!
-
Tan I was very excited to see some non-pink things at Target! I got some cute little t-shirts (marked as $7.99 but scanned at $3.99!) in yellow, purple and pale blue. Woo hoo! Don't get me wrong I love pink but there is only so much pink clothing I can take.
Quiet in here, hope everyone is well and had a great weekend. Ellie has just decided to drop a day sleep so now we are on one sleep straight after lunch for around 1 1/2 hours - am hoping she starts sleeping a bit more as she is a bit cranky by dinner time. I tried putting her down for a power nap late yesterday afternoon but she refused and the tears started!
Gonna go eat my lunch, have a lovely day all!
-
I know what you mean Lis. I had all the "new season collection" on the dining table the other day waiting to be folded and put away- it was just a sea of pink. Fortunately we've now offset the pink with a red and navy In the Night Garden t-shirt - I swear Izzy saw them hanging up in Target before I did!
I've just been into Pumpkin Patch looking for something for friends' who have just had another little girl and had to really hold myself back - my girlfriend who went through IVF is expecting a little boy in February and the boy stuff is sooooo gorgeous.
Things are really looking up here. Ellie is now full time on bottles (unfortunately my milk dried up really quickly, but that's nothing given that my little girl is now a lot happier). The down side is that she now has constipation. Izzy got it too when she first went on the soy but she got over it very quickly. I've also started seeing a psychologist who says that I don't actually have PND but "reactive depression" - apparently a non-hormonal thing and its situational, so when things settle down with Ellie, I start getting some sleep and we get a bit of a routine it will hopefully all go away. In the meantime she is promoting lots of "me" time, including shopping, so I can't argue with that!!
Better go ladies - dinner to organise for Izzy. Sorry for no personals. Tan - getting oh so close now sweetie - how is the name game coming along??
-
Lulu- Thats great! I bet alot of us 'pnd' ladies prob dont have it and are treating the wrong thing thats why we find it hard to move on from:rolleyes:
So happy for you!!! I often wonder how things are going for you ;)
-
Lis - Im going to go tomorrow and from what I've seen there are some really cute thing so I am a bit excited!!
Lulu - so good to hear things are on the improve hun, poor Elena being constipated though, I hope it settles for her quickly. Glad you are seeing someone too hun, makes a huge difference being able to talk to someone about how you are feeling! We have 2 names, not 100% sure about either one but we seriously have no other options!!! Boys are really hard! I think once he is here we will just know!
Kass - I hope you are doing well hun!
:hello: everyone else! Im tired of being tired and whinging about it so Im off to bed! :D Hope you are all well and bubs are treating you all well!
-
Just a quickie - YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Elena slept through last night. Bottle at 9.30 pm and then didn't wake up until 6.03 am. I know the time exactly because it was my turn to get up for her before 6am, and DH's turn after 6am - only just snuck in for an interruption free night.
-
YAY for Elena!!! What a little champ! Lulu so glad things are looking up and hopefully the constipation issue sorts itself out soon. My Elena was excited to see the night garden stuff in target too! I bought her the yellow/pink upsy daisy PJs, she saw it hanging on the washing line after I washed it and wanted me to pull it down and put it on her lol!
Tan enjoy the shopping!
Hey Kass!
Better go, should be working
-
I wanted the pjs but they didn't have any left :-(
-
Hi gorgeous mummies!!
Sangie - OMG how gorgeous Elena wanting her pj's on straight away. I can't believe how much they turning into little people now. Their understanding is growing so quickly and I just love how they can follow instructions already. She would have been so cute standing there pointing at them.
Tan - How many sleeps is Izzy having a day at the moment? Is she giving you time to rest up before little man arrives? I can't believe it darl, so soon and you're going to be a mummy again .
Lulu - :cheer: YAY on Elena taking her bottle like a good girl for you. Must be a huge relief. Awesome news that you don't have PND and hopefully now Elena is taking her bottles thinkgs might start settling down for you. How's Izzy handling being a big sister? :happyforyou:
Hi Kass, Sarah and D. Hope you are well and your toddler is making you smile everyday!
Well life here has been really crap. Livvy woke up sick the morning I worked my last night shift and has been sick since. She has the horrible chesty cough/cold that is raging at the moment. Her temp has been sitting around 39.5 for the last few days but do you think I can get her seen by anyone???? Of course not. I gave up waiting in A&E after 4 hours. Poor little munchkin couldn't take it anymore so I thought bugger it and bought my poor little poppet home and cuddled up on the couch. She hasn't slept though the night for nearly a week now. Me and dave are absolutely exhausted but we'll get there, I guess. God I hope so.
Better go and give her some more panadol and cuddle up on the couch. Seem to be living on it at the moment.
Chat soon gorgeous ladies.
-
Hey ladies!
Dan- Thats horrible! Hope she gets better soon! Other then being sick and fever is she her little self still? IM so sick of doctors in Ballarat NO ONE is taking new patients (SP) so we're stuck going to a bloody 'cow market' as I call it where everyone sits for 4hrs before being seen!!! So people wonder why I haven't had a pap smear, I haven't found a doctor Im comfy with as my doctor is always on holidays and I dont like any other one from that practice! Thats my excuse and im sticking to it ;)
Lulu- That is FANTASTIC :dance::hug: Im so happy for you all!!! How is Izzy been through all this?
Tan- I am well just in need of a holiday, still feeling quite out of myself. As all I our lives are, is paying bills etc etc like everyone elses but a holiday would be a nice break.
How are you, nice and round now! In a good way ;) Are you all organised?
Ok ladies back soon. Have to go pay bills with Dp's tax return, cant find his keycard so doing bye bpay. Though it hasn't cleared yet :wall: Hoping thats only because its before 9am
-
Hello Everyone!!! Sorry I have been MIA, house guests still here!! Also have been working here and there, and dealing with sick kids....again!!!! Anyway, thought I would pop in and sa hi, I a still here, will try and get back on tomorrow to do a proper catch up!! Oh, and I got Angus 2 Iggle Piggle shirts and he carries them around everywhere!!! I also got the interactive Iggle Piggle, and he cacks himself at it!!! The ninky nonk is in the cupboard for x-mas!!! Gotta love that show!!!! xxxx
-
Helloooooooooooooo everyone!!!!!!
Just wanted to pop in quickly and say hello.... how is everyone doing??
I can't believe we have a few more bubbas on the way shortly.... SO exciting. And best of luck to the TTC girls too - DH and I will be making that transition in the next month or so, so hopefully it won't take too long! Here's hoping at least!
Things here are good - trying to shake this damn cold/cough/chest thing that seems to be EVERYWHERE. Have had it on and off for over 2 months now and just can't seem to shake it for good. Hopefully when the weather clears up I will start to feel better.... (come on sunshine!)
Oh god, am I the only one with the slow learner here?! LOL Mia is not walking or talking at all - I wasn't worried until I came in here and started reading about what the other babes were up too!!! Eeeeeeeek!!!!
-
hey guys....remember me? It feels like forever since I was inhere!!
I am working full time at the moment in a temp role and am LOVING IT!
Hope everyone is well
good luck tan xxxx
-
Gosh, how is evryone going? We are plodding along Ok!! Just busy, and trying to fit everything into a day is so hard! Have been out at a BB meet today which was so nice!! Great to put faces to usernames!! Now I need to get to melb to meet most of you guys!!!! So, hence I have not done anything round the house, now I have a massive headache....Having a coffee so hopefully that will fix it haha!! Angus has crashed out, he has had a huge day!! xxxx
-
Hey guys, hope you are all having a great weekend!
We just got back from the park and Ellie has crashed, good way to burn off all that energy!
We get the keys to our new house tomorrow, so excited!!!!!!! DH is going to organise some tradesman to come in for some quotes this week.
Gonna go relax while I can! Mwa xxxxx
-
Just lost a MASSIVE post sorry can't be bothered retyping but wanted to say hi - Shell - glad the kids are well, how are you Lulu?, Lis - Yay for the house settling and I was about to go for a walk but its so windy! Mabello who??:p What type of work are you doing hun?? Kass - I need a holiday too love! Dan - I hope Liv is better, Kristen - don't stress lovely - our MG is prime example of how kids vary hugely but whether they are walking or talking or not they are all growing, happy and healthy so pfft don't stress! Mia will get there when she's ready. :hello: to eveyrone I have missed.
That was my post in a nutshell! I lost my plug yesterday - :cheer: so excited seeing as with Izzy I had NO prelabour whatsoever so Im hoping my body is getting there and starting to do what it is meant to do!!!! I had acupuncture on Thursday followed by period pain all night and all day Friday and then my plug so whoo hoo! Not much today but I have a feeling that I will go before my due date! That is my mummy prediction! Seeing as Izzy was so late Im also setting myself up for later rather than sooner! Im just glad that my body seems to be working!
Well we might go to Doncaster seeing as this wind is so strong - catch you all soon!
-
Kristen - I wouldn't worry about Mia at all. Izzy is walking and has been for months but she is not talking at all.
Danni - glad you're enjoying work.
Lis - oh yay on getting your new house. How exciting. I hope you can get the tradies organised quickly.
Tan - I said I thought you were going early and given you've lost your plug looks like I was right! Really looking forward to hearing about your little man's arrival any day now. I got sooooooooo much prelabour with Elena and the stubborn little Miss was still 9 days late.
Dan - how's Livvy? I hope she's feeling a lot better.
Kass - the doctor situation is a nightmare isn't it. Still, no excuse young lady to put off those nasty tests!!
Shell - I feel the same way. I would love to get to Melbourne to (A) shop (B) get room service and (C) meet all the Melbourne ladies.
Things are still up and down here. Elena's constipation seems to have disappeared thank goodness but she is still struggling with sucking - she is maybe having 600mls on a good day which is nowhere near enough. I have no idea how anyone does anything other than demand feeding - neither of my two will take a drop unless its on their terms! Otherwise, the girls are really interacting now. Elena is always looking at Izzy to see what she's up to and Izzy has really started involving Ellie in her play which is gorgeous. Also very cute when we're out in the car Izzy will often hold Elena's hand. So sweet. I can't wait until Elena is just a few months older so I can see them tottering around together. Anyway, time to sit down in front of the tv for a while - been watching the Sex and the City series on DVD and now that I've finished I can finally watch something else!
-
Good morning everyone,
Shell - Great to hear from you. Did you enjoy your visitors? I love visitors but love it when they go. What's your little man up to?
Mabello - Fantastic news that you are enjoying work. It's so nice to get some adult conversation sometimes but gee I miss Livvy when i'm there and can't wait to get home to her. How are you and DH going? Little M walking everywhere now?
Sangie - on getting your keys. Enjoy the renos. It's hard work and annoying while it's being down but is so worth it when it's finished. We are in the middle of extending out patio as my beautiful outdoor setting is too big and I won't return it as I love it so I'm making dave and dad extend it, LOL! When are you hoping to be in properly? Has El settled into her one sleep a day?
Tan - YAY for losing your plug. I'm a spoil sport and I think you are going to go 5 days over before your gorgeous man makes his VBAC arrival. How is little Izzy going? I love your MSN photo of her sitting on her chair/couch. She looks so gorgeous and I'm incredibly jealous of all her hair. Livvy's is getting there but very slowly. Have you got Izzy a present from her little brother?
Lulu - Your girls are going to be so gorgeous when they are playing together. I can just see it now. Great news that Elena's constipation is settling down. I could never get Olivia to have a bottle on anything but demand and she would never come close to meeting the quota on the tins. I think Liv is the same as Izzy. She is happily running around the place climbing on everything but has very limited speech. She has a few words that are clear but that's it. She does babble alot but nothing clear. It's great to hear that she isn't the only one.
Kirsten - Like the other gorgeous ladies have said don't worry Little Miss is going to do everything in her sweet time and nothing is going to rush her, LOL!! Best of luck TTC #2. Hope it doesn't take too long.
Kass - Don't you hate paying bills. My least favourite job. I would so much rather spend it all on shopping. How is your gorgeous girl going? Chatting heaps?
Well Liv is better, thankfully so now it's just the getting her back into a routine and sleeping in her bed. I figure since she is already out of sorts that we might get to one sleep a day as I am really struggling to get her down in the arvo so I think she is ready for one sleep. Like I've said Livvy is running around the house climbing on everything and is in to everything and I just love it. She is spending so much time outside now the weather is nice that I can't wait for Santa to bring her her swing set.
Well I better dash off and get organised as we have mother's group this morning.
Chat soon gorgeous mummies,
Dan.
-
I read something very depressing yesterday. It said that 2 in 3 children aged 2 to 5 would spend at least some period of time in their parents' bed EVERY night!!! I mean no disrespect to co-sleepers but oh my God. How does that happen? Does something crazy happen to kids when they turn 2 to make them unhappy in their own beds all night? I love snuggling up with my girls but I love my sleep too. Oh, and DH might like to DTD again one day ;-)
-
Lulu LOL!! Well... sorry to say, 9 times out of ten Angus comes into our bed every night!! One night last week DD2 came in after having a nightmare and climbed into bed also, so there was 4 of us in our bed!!! No dtd here lately, lucky we are finished our family!!
-
Yep - I'm with you there. I now understand why multiple children are such a great form of birth control!! Poor DH is still waiting from before Elena was born. I'm thinking it might be a nice gift for him on our 10th wedding anniversary!
-
Olivia is coming into our bed so much over the last two weeks. I'm so looking forward to her being five so it will end. Only 3 years 8 months to go!!! YAY!!!
-
Lucky me, Ellie only comes into our bed if she is sick. Although I guess that could change at any time lol! I hate it when she sleeps with us cos I always get kicked in the guts followed by a few punches in the face. Oh and Ellie and DH BOTH snore!!!!
Dan - yep we are down to one sleep now. If she has had a really busy day then she may go down for a 15 minute powernap late afternoon - maybe once or twice a week. Glad u guys are feeling better and YAY for the patio. We are hoping to move in November.
Lulu - aaawww how cute, your girls sound adorable!
Shell - do you still have visitors? Hope you enjoyed their company.
Tan - how u feeling hun? I'm going to have to start stalking the birth announcements!
Kirsten - ditto to what the other girls said, these tots do things in their own time and not a second sooner. YAY on TTC - good luck!!!!
M - congrats on the job!
Hey to everyone else, gotta go and get dinner started! Just picked up the keys to our new house, it looks so different without any furniture in it lol! Catch ya's later xxxx
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KASS!!!
Have a great day and I hope you get spoilt rotten.
-
hey guys, its so quiet in here!
Well I have two more days left of my temp job and then I got a full time role in recruitment consulting! this has been my dream job for years but honestly thought I would never make it. I am so excited!
Monster has been so fantastic. He is loving child care and cries every time we leave there lol
My sister has had him a few days last week as she is on holidays, and he will go there one or two days again this week. But as of next week he will be there full time hours. Im really happy with the centre though!
Dh and I are going well. Although our time together is so limited now. We really only talk while we are making lunches, doing dishes etc. But we appreciate each other so much more at the moment.
Monster is running everywhere and saying more things all the time. He understands every single thing we say. We gotta be careful now!
Love to you all xx
-
Hey D - nice to hear from you! Sounds like you are going great guns!
We are well - still a week off DD so not too optimistic although am still having pre-labour on and off. My acupuncturist is going to ramp things up with some electricity this week so hopefully that will send me off the edge! Was just saying to DH I don't care if I go voer, I don't care because I want our little man to choose his b'day but if we get anywhere near the c/s date booked I know I will start focusing on the negative which so far in the last few months I haven't done. Come out sooner rather than later little one!
 to you all and GO HAWKS! Whoo hoo! Off to have a celebration lunch with my parents today - they are SO excited! :)
-
Hi all! :hello:
D- congrats on the job, that is fantastic! Elena understands a lot too, definitely have to be careful what we say too as she tries to copy EVERYTHING we say lol!
T - yay for the prelabour, your body is doing what it needs to! Fingers crossed for you that your little man does decide to come sooner rather than later. But with all this prelabour then I'd say you are in with a great chance hun.
Hello to you all, hope everyone is well. We have been busy this weekend - grand final BBQ at a friends and lots of shopping! We chose our floor tiles for our house and have been shopping for carpet! Now just have to organise tradesmen (leaving that up to DH lol!). Anyway gotta go, just quickly popping in before I take Ellie to play outside, such gorgeous weather here this weekend! Mwah xxxx
-
Hi everyone!!!
I have been very MIA!! Sorry :D I have just spent this afternoon, between washing and cleaning up the bathroom, reading what has been going on in here.
Tan - can't believe you are nearly there!!! Reading your posts you are such a positive person, and I really hope that you get what you want with your little man, but please remember that you have done everything possible, so no matter what happens you will have a beautiful little boy in the end.
Lulu - wow want an adventure Elena has given you lately, so happy that she is taking the bottle and things are looking up.
Kirsten - Mia will walk when she is ready, Ethyn walked at just over 13 months, its great to catch up with what other bubs are doing, but its also hard not to compare them with each other.
D - glad to hear that your temping is going well, and all the best with your new venture
Dan - Ethyn loves being outside at the moment too, he cracks it big time when we take him back inside!!!
Sorry can't go back any further, but a big HI to everyone that I have missed
Things here are hectic to say the least. Work is full on, I am training a new girl, trying to understand what another girl does as she leaves on mat leave this Friday, trying to do my own job and trying to help out everyone else!!! Things are changing from Wednesday, hopefully will be less stressful.
Ethyn is walking around everywhere and running everywhere!! Climbing on the lounge and trying to climb in his highchair!! He has 12 teeth, am thinking that his eye teeth are giving him a bit of grief every now and again. He is still sick on and off, has been very wheezy lately, one of the docs in Adelaide diagnosed him with asthma, but when we came home got him checked out again, she said he was too young to be diagnosed with asthma, can't tell til at least 2 and then not properly til he's 6 or 7 when he can blow in the thingy. So not sure really what is going on, she was concerned with the wheeziness, so perscribed him with ventolin nebules and we hired a nebuliser which has appeared to fixed up the wheeziness, but now we have another ear infection. He has had them on and off since Feb this year, am going to see an ENT specialists on December. I got his hearing checked a little while back, no issues there, they said that his ears recover quite well from ear infections, so that's one good thing I suppose.
Got my hands on some of the new colours itti bitti dlish!! They rock!!!
He is outside more now, but with that he had his first graze on his knee the other day, fell over on the concrete and was wearing shorts!!! Last week he fell on the top step out the back, the step is about 1 metre of the ground!! All he got was a graze on his nose. My mum and dad are coming up this weekend and we are putting a fence around the step to stop these falls from happening!! Overall he loves walking up and down the steps, but I still get nervous when he does!!!
Ok I think that's it from me, will try and get on here more often!!
-
Hey ladies sorry been MIA had my 21st! And also found a house that we can stay in for about 4-5yrs till we buy and we move in 2wks!
Ill bbl to do personals ;) Thanks very much for the birthday wishes!
-
Yay for the Hawks. Obviously would have been a whole lot better if the Eagles had won but hey, with the season they've had that was just never going to happen was it!! My girlfriend and her family are HUGE Hawks fans - so much so that her sister in the UK lost coverage in the second quarter so called her Mum in Melbourne, who put the phone next to the tv so she could hear the rest of the game!!!
Danni - great to hear that things are going so well for you.
Tan - Sounds like a great philosophy - no point getting your knickers in a knot when it can't make things move faster. In fact, will probably slow things down and hey, must easier to give birth without knickers tied around you :-)
Lee - good to hear from you. I hope things settle down with Ethyn and its not asthma. Great to see them all running and jumping though isn't it - impossible to keep all these little people still these days. Izzy's a huge lover of the great outdoors too.
Very exciting news for us - we're off to Sydney at the end of next week. It will be our first real holiday since our honeymoon in 2006, except for a couple of days down south last year. Really looking forward to the holiday but not sure I'm looking forward to wrestling Izzy on a plane for a few hours! Just how do you keep a toddler who refuses to sit still quiet as we fly across the country??
-
Enjoy your holiday Lulu, sounds like you are very overdue for one! As for keeping Izzy happy maybe get some 'new' toys or ones she hasn't seen for a while. Does she like to draw? Crayons and colouring books might be good. Maybe 5kg of sultanas  I have the same worries - have the chance to head to QLD later this month and dreading the plane ride with my little tornado. Oh well, haven't decided if I will go yet - DH's airfare will be paid for by his employer but mine won't and we will be spending up big soon with house renovations.
Lee - lovely to hear from you, hope it isn't asthma
Tan - how is the 'natural' induction going? Must be almost time for you to put a nasty message on your answering machine, are your friends/family likely to start bugging you? I hope not!!!
Kass - how was your party????? YAY on the house!
Ok that's it for me lol! Suppose I should make the last 2 hours of my workday constructive! I think Ellie is a bit off colour again - she is pale as a ghost and seems to be more tired than usual. Fingers crossed she is not getting sick, as usual I'm blaming it on teething lol. Which may not be too off the mark considering her lovely fruity nappy efforts over the last 2 days (sorry TMI!). Catch ya's xxxxx
-
Thought about the sultantas - more than happy to give over my entire carry on luggage allowance to sultanas if it will keep her happy!! She doesn't like drawing at all unfortunately. I'm going to get her a new In the Night Garden Book and a couple of other new little bits and pieces and hopefully that will help. Otherwise, is it wrong to give your toddler valium???? Maybe you should hold off on committing to a trip to Qld before you hear how mine goes ;-) Hope Ellie is feeling better soon.
So sorry Kass - missed that it was your birthday. I hope you had a lovely day.
-
If you're packing 5kg of sultanas you will need the equivillant in nappies
Hope everyone is well, too tired to post much, I promise I will post soon, just been super busy.
-
LOL Lulu you can be our experiment! Yeah I'd hate to see Izzy's nappies after 5kg of sultanas. New toys sounds like the way to go, not sure about the valium though?! Is that for you too lol?
-
Gosh, I have been so slack! Have been trying to read and get time to post but it is crazy house round here!! With my work, school hols and DH is starting his own business, it is a mad house!!! But In the night garden is on, and the girls are at Mum's so is a bit quieter now!!! Well at least for half an hour!!!
Kass- Hope you had a great birthday!!!
Tan - How is all the pre-labour going? Little man will be here soon!
Sarah - How are you going this time round?? Are you ovr all your moring sickness?
dan - Yes, my visitors have gone, was great having them but 6 kids in the house was interesting at times!!
Lis- How is Ellie today?
Lulu - Yay on the holiday!! OK, this might sound naughty but how bout one of those portable DVD players?? She can watch iggle piggle the whole trip!!!! You and DH might get sick of it but??? Yes, and def lots of snacks.
Lee - I have some itti bitti dlish, they are nice hey. My little man can undo all his mcn's though, snaps and all, little bugger, so half the time he is free balling round the house
Anyway, pathetic effort at personals, sorry. Waiting for a friend to come over for a coffee!! Better quickly do a toast pick up from brekkie!! How cute are some of the new smilies!! I like this one :leap: Take care and have a nice day!!!

Hello everyone!!!( I miss my hello smilie Shell - that one is cute though! )
No time for personals right now but I promise you all that I am reading!!
Off to have acupuncture today, and I will be having a S & S tomorrow so fingers crossed this little man doesn't stress me out like Izzy did! :) I've already had tears each time one of my belly buddies pops - so reminisent of our thread!!! I TOLD you all I would be last! Chat soon and I won't be so slack!

oh Tan. Hang in there sweetie. Your little man WILL be coming soon. If you're anything like me, you just have babies that are fashionably late. FWIW, Elena was 9 days overdue when she decided to make her grand appearance and she was born in literally 13 minutes - 4 cms dilated to on my chest in that time frame. So, while she took her good sweet time getting here, she didn't take her time when she was "on the way"! All that prelabour you're having is only making it a quicker, easier VBAC journey for your little man so try not to get too down :comfort:
BBL - just wanted to give Tan a hug

Thanks girls! Well I am 2 cms dilated already! Very excited that all this back pain I am having is for a good reason! Also didn't have to fight at all to change my c/s date so that is a HGUE relief....
Off to have a bath - sorry about the pathetic personals YET again.... to you all lovelies... xoxo
