Tan - yeah, I miss my MG when we have a break, like over Christmas. So relieved to get them back yesterday . . . although there are still some away on hols.

Shell - It has been so hot here. We don't go outside much, it is so nice in the airconditioning, too hot to venture out at the moment. It is a pity because Maddie (my DD) especially loves playing outside. We have been to Lollipops a lot - we love it there. I especially like that adults get a 'free' coffee. It's like compulsory fun.

Kass and Lulu - I hate in-laws. In fact we don't have anything to do with my husband's family anymore, long long story but was not worth the stress they put on our family, especially in the first month after Maddie was born.

Kass asked for my real name and it is Erin - may make it a bit easier to post to.

Took both my kids, Maddie and Josh, for their needles this afternoon. I hate needles and it was traumatic (mainly for me) and I cried as I always do. My DH always comes with us because I can't do it on my own. He usually holds them and I usually do the cuddling bit afterwards. I have had a turn at holding them the last two times though and it is not as bad as I thought it would be, but still hard.

Hi ladies, what a chatty bunch hey? I love it lol!

Tan - hope the next couple of weeks go by very quickly for you. I'm sure Al will be missing you too! I can sympathise. DH travels a bit for work and he will be away for a week in Feb, come home for 2 weeks and then go to Sweden for 14 days. Not looking forward to it at all...

Kass - your stoopid in-laws hey? Next time remind them that Annabelle is 50% you and 50% Clint and that's it lol!

Erin - gosh I hate needles too and I make DH come and hold Ellie cos I can't do it. The first needle she had I cried as well! I'm such a sook!

Danni - OMG 4 more sleeps, how exciting!!!!!!!

Shell - change of career would be exciting! Good luck with the air con, sounds like you need it.

Sarah - hope your newest addition is settling in well and that you are feeling ok.

Lulu - your IL's sound more like mine everyday lol!

Dan - how are you going hun? Hope you are feeling ok and that Livvy is enjoying her big girls bed!

AFM not much to report. I seem to be on top of the m/s thankfully. Snacking on rice crackers throughout the day seems to help. Ellie is being absolutely gorgeous. If I'm feeling sick and hanging out in the bathroom she will bring me her sippy cup of water and a teddy to cuddle, so cute!

    Chat soon lovelies xxxxx

Lis - that is so gorgeous. My GF is 8 months pregnant and not having a fun time. Her 2.5 year has for a few months now stomped up to her and said "Mummy sick. Lie down". She then drags her to the couch, covers her with a blanket and puts a flannel on her forehead! So incredibly cute. Great news that your MS is under control - hopefully it will disappear for good soon.

Erin - you're so lucky your DH goes with you for needles. Mine came with me for the first time last time, and that was only because Iz needed her 18 month and Ellie her 6 months and I told him there was no way I was going to be capable of looking after two unhappy girls together. He's such a wuss though - hates to see them upset.

Tan - repeat after me "My name is Tan and I'm a bit of a weirdo" . . . I would be the same though - just nice to where they are and that they're safe.

Shell - I hope you find an airconditioner that does the job. I would be lost without mine at the moment. My girls are a bit moody as it is. I'm sure they would be diabolical if we were trying to cope with the heat without one.

Want my latest IL rant? BIL's birthday coming up and you know what we're "buying" for his present? Paying out his mobile phone contract!! ****. This is a childless couple who are both professionals. Living rent free in my SIL's house while she's overseas. I'm sorry, but birthday presents are not about paying their bills!!! It makes me so angry and its a perfect example of how stingy they are (in all ways - giving of their time, emotion, money (which is the least of it) and just general lack of thoughtfulness). I end up getting really grumpy and snapping at DH and its not his fault. Poor bugger. They just do things so differently to my family (I keep telling my parents to STOP changing their lives for me and the girls, buying them things all the time etc) and I really struggle to not lose my temper all the time.

Anyway, rant over. Off to enjoy another beautiful, scorching day in paradise. Have a lovely day everyone.
