Bye Dan. Take care lovely lady.
Yikes I haven't been on for a couple of days and got a shock with the amount of people leaving BB in the messages forum!
Dan I'll send you an email hunny and Tan I'll PM you. I'm not on FB (yes shock horrror!) but would love to keep in contact by email if that is ok. I'm gonna miss you both!
Lulu I agree. Feels like my family is busting up!
 I feel like my family is breaking up too  But...I think you need to do what is best for you and your family also, so good luck girls - and make sure you keep in touch!!!
Just a quickie from me, we just got home from our weekend away, was lovely! We had a nice holiday house on a lake. the kids had fun, and was nice just to get away!! but, now, I have to unpack etc. So, I best keep moving!!! Be back tomorrow for a longer chit chat!!xxxx
Shell weekend away sounds great! I'm trying to organise a holiday over easter but lots of place are already booked out, not happy!
Sorry to be brief but I'm at work so should go and actually do some work. Just wanted to pop in and say hello and keep this thread moving!
Welcome home Shell. A weekend away sounds lovely!
Well, we had my SIL's wedding on the weekend. The girls looked so beautiful in their pretty dresses but were much more interested in the playground and the lake at the park than they were in watching their Aunt get married!
El had her 8 month check last week. She is actually smaller than Izzy was at the same time, which surprised me a little. I guess I'm going to have two petite fairies on my hands. We got Izzy's "big girl" mattress on the weekend and are just waiting for her bedframe to arrive from Freedom. Bit annoyed - they said it was in stock, took my money and then when I was trying to arrange picking it up they told me it was on backorder!! Grrr. I was really looking forward to putting it all together. Still, its probably for the best - Izzy can have some time (hopefully!) in the mattress on the floor before I have to worry about her falling out of bed at any height!
Aw no ladies where are you all going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( Why cant you only post in here???
Hmm. I agree Kass - I'd love to have seen Dan and Tan stick around but I can understand why they want to go. I have to say, after reading a particular thread today I am starting to wonder about the maturity level of some women on this forum. Seems to me like there are some who are just after an argument, and will pick and pick until they get one.
Anyway . . .
Read Izzy her story last night before bed and she wanted to read it in her big girl bed. She then said she wanted to sleep in her new bed so I did the usual, tucked her in etc and walked out. I sat on the sofa upstairs just outside her room so when she tottered out 5 seconds later I took her back. She came out again about 3 minutes later and I told her time to go to bed and off she went back to bed on her own. Three more times she came out with a mischievous little smile but tottered off happily when I told her. THen she came out with her big girl pillow not quite so happy but still went back to bed. A couple of minutes later I heard her crying in her room so I went to check - the poor little love was trying to climb into her cot! I gave her a big cuddle, told her she was a clever girl and put her to bed in her cot. I guess we're not quite as big a girl as we thought we were ;)
lulu, id love to know which thread?
In the Boo Hoo room Danni - about airconditioning. Just ridiculous IMHO.
Lulu I saw that thread too and wasn't overly impressed! You know one day Izzy will just decide to stay in her big bed. It's a great idea keeping both beds for her and letting her choose, I might steal that idea! I"m sure your girls would have looked gorgeous all dressed up for the wedding.
Eeeekkkk its gonna be 43 here today. It was in the 40's yesterday too and so is tomorrow. Poor Ellie wants to go play outside but I know she won't stay in the shade and its far too hot to be in the sun. Have my first OB appointment tomorrow and I just booked into hospital yesterday - very exciting!!!!!
yep saw that lulu-- this place is becoming a war zone.
Yes, not coping so well with the heat here. And J is hardly moving :(
Its so hard trying to explain to them why they can't go outside isn't it. I had that problem with Izzy over the last couple of weeks. Given her choice she would have stayed outside in 42 degrees playing in her cubbyhouse and on her slide! Its much cooler here this week although someone obviously moved Perth into the tropics while I wasn't looking. Its about 30 but raining. Revolting. I hope you ladies are surviving the heat over there and have your airconditioners seriously cranked up ;) I'm not sure about the bed thing being a good idea - will let you know. She seems to view her big bed as a play thing so will have to give it a bit and then maybe she'll go cold turkey after all.
D - don't worry too much about J not moving. Try not to compare him to how M was. Hard to do I know but they really are so different. With Iz I felt her so early and she ended up being a regular but not significant mover. With Ellie it took a while (after hearing she should have been earlier being the second baby!) but hooley dooley did she make up for it! She started probably about 25 weeks and just didn't stop.
Stay cool ladies.
Yep aircon cranked up here!!!
Danni maybe J is just having a quiet day, its perfectly normal! If your worried have an icy cold drink and lie down for a while (not a bad idea in this heat anyway!).
im pretty sure i remember saying that Mason hardly moved on hot days too, so im not TOO worried.
Ive been feeling him very well for the past few weeks several times a day so i get a bit worried when i dont feel him for a few hours.
Did i mention to u girls i need a repeat scan tomorrow week? They couldnt complete the scan because of "mother is too overweight".
Anyhow, they were concerned with J's skin. Hope everything is ok. But things like this make me worry even more
Hmmm. Lovely phrase D. I honestly think there are some people out there that have the sensitivity of an ox. I hope you get your repeat scan quickly. I'm sure it will show that there is absolutely nothing to worry about.
Hey guys! Hope you are surviving the heat down there! Is raining up here in the sunny NQ, is so wet is ridiculous. But....is nice and cool though!! Worst thing is trying to get in and out of the school with 3 kids, parked in mud and not get soaking wet!!! Is mad!!!
D - I hope your scan goes well, I am sure it will all be good.
Lulu - I have been shocked lately at some of the threads also, I actually tend to stick to this one and thats about it, can't deal with the other BS!!!
Sangie - woohoo, antenatal appt!!! Makes it seem so real hey!! So happy for you, hope it alll goes well!!
Anyway, I have been out all morning, went to Lollipops with a friend, the kids played for hours and Angus passed out on the way home!! I even changed his nappy when we got home and he stayed fast asleep!!
OK girls, well I know you are an expert LULU!!! I need a stroller!!!! My DH is going to kill me, but I need something light weight, not too expensive, maybe recline a little, and sturdy. I like the maclarens, but ? a bit exxy. I seen a bebe care one, felt a bit heavy to push but only $119. I want it to last though. I basically need it to get in and out the car quick for when I go in to get the girls from school. Normally have to walk a bit, and is quicker especially in the wet weather to chuck him in stroller. The P&T bit heavy to get in and out all the time. So HELP!!!
I'd love to help you Shell but I'm a single stroller virgin!! I kept the P&T to appease DH on the basis that I would use it as a single pram once Izzy was walking everywhere under control, as opposed to her "yippee I'm free, run like the wind" behaviour in shopping centres at the moment! Thinking a lighter weight one will be more appropriate though so I will wait for others' pearls of wisdom. I think Tan bought the McLaren a while back and loved it.
Yeah, am thinking the maclaren is the way to go ;) thanks Tan. I had a steelcraft that I paid a fortune for and it is stuffed, only got it for DD2, and the wheels ae gone on it. Anyway, off to do some more research and check out ebay and online shops for prices!!
Hi ladies. I'm joining the ranks of the departing too. I stupidly got into a thread today that has really done my head in.
I'm going to miss you all - its been a long time that we've been together.
Danni and Lis - all the best with your pregnancies.
Oh no.....there is hardly anyone left....Lulu, are you on facebook?? Please think about staying and just contribute to this thread....
Lulu, I havent seen you on msn for years. Is there any other way we can keep in touch?
Yikes we are dropping like flies. Lulu sorry you feel you have to leave us. I agree some threads lately have been crazy and I'm finding myself only visiting my favourite ones and then logging off. Anyway I'll email you.
Shell I'm thinking of getting a maclaren too, should have just got one in the first place rather than the steelcraft that is stuffed now (wheels came off). Might wait a bit longer though before deciding.
Oh Lulu I have just read the thread you were talking about. I'm absolutely disguisted in the way you were treated!! You were personally attacked for having an opinion. OMG!!!! How dare you have an opinion that doesn't conform with all of their ideas. I must admit I completely agree with what you said. I'm so sorry you were treated like this. This site is getting out of control.
I am popping in and out of this thread (and only this one) because you ladies are absolutely amazing women and I can't be without you gorgeous women.
I typed my email address wrong last time. It is dan.clutterbuck at gmail.com I'm hopeless, LOL!!
Back later gorgeous ones!!
Totally agree with Danni. How are we going to be able to keep in touch with you???
Hey ladies. Thanks for your support. My email is r_p.looatbigponddotcom
I'd love to keep in touch with all of you lovely ladies. Just everybody else that I wish under a giant airconditioner!!
Dan I tried to email you and wondered why it kept bouncing back! I'm so glad you are still popping in. I was missing you already (hence the email lol!).
Lulu sorry you were attacked. I didn't see the thread but maybe you should report it?
Danni just wanted to pop in and wish you luck for your repeat scan. Hope you get a technician with a bit more tact this time! Good luck!!!!
Thanks hun, its on friday! im hoping eveyrhing is fine xx
CONGRATS LIS! I had no idea, fantastic news
Thought I should let you lovly ladies know............Im pregnant!
Congrats Kass!!! How exciting for you guys!!!
I had my scan today, and they didn't ring me back with the results as they said they would. I will try and ring them tomorrow. How annoying.
But he is STILL a boy! lol
Congratulations Kass!!
D- I would think that no news is good news? Have you called?
Hi to everyone else, All these pregnancies are making me clucky already, might have to jump on the bandwagon! Need to have sex for that to happen though. Not sure if I could go through this sleep deprivation thing again so soon anyway.
Xavier is growing up so quickly, he put on a kg in 2 weeks, the boobie juice must be magic although he gets such bad wind pain from it. He screams about 4-6 hours a day in pain and I have tried colic relief syrups, different positions feeding, expressing before feeds etc and nothing seems to improve the situation. I just have to wait for him to grow out of it I guess. I am going to try and cut out caffine this weekend and see if that helps, it is hard when you are running on a few hours sleep.
Well enough of my pity party, it is not like I am the first and only mother to suffer like this.
This blows that the group has fallen to bits, I totally understand why people have left, I am halfway there myself, well more than halfway. This site used to be such a happy and friendly supportive place for me. It still is in some parts but now with a few bad apples here and there.
Anyway, I know I don't post much but I am always lurking. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
It was too late once I realised she hadn;t called! Lucky I wasn't sitting by the phone waiting!
I will ring her at 9am and yes Im hoping that no news is good news.
Sarah, I really reckon the caffeine reduction will help. Is there another type of natural stimulant u can take to keep you going?
Thanks Ash! We are so excited!
Congrats Kass! That is fantastic news hun. How are you feeling?
Danni hope you get your results soon, how annoying.
Sarah I agree with the caffeine. It gave Elena really bad wind. So did chocolate unfortunately :wall: I hope Xavier grows out of it soon. I know what you mean about some bad apples on here. I'm not here as much anymore either and I just visit a few favourite threads and get off.
AFM plodding along here. M/S is gone (woo hoo!) but still really tired all the time. Having my first scan in a few weeks. Elena is being her gorgeous self and is always asking where the baby is lol! Have a great weekend all. Gonna be a scorcher here today (44) so not looking forward to that.
Congrats Kass!!!
Sarah-I'm sorry to hear about the sleep deprivation and screaming, Blake was the same hun. The magic stuff from over in Perth really helped for Blake for a bit, maybe you could look into getting some of that??
Lis-I miss you :( Have you got FB? Msn???
Blake is coming along fabulously, he is making my life a joy every single day! He is OBSESSED with the movie Cars and will watch it over and over again, so very easily entertained if I need to do something lol He says "ka chow" (watch the movie, you'll know) all the time, it's hilarious!
ETA: Dan, everything will be ok with J xoxoxoxo
Hey ladies thanx for the well wishes!
Still letting it all soak in and be excited. Im very happy dont get me wronge. I just dont want have those strange looks as I look about 16! haha Aw well, all in all feel great! Just very bloated.

Sarah: definitely try the stuff from Perth. I dont have the detals anymore but Im pretty sure it was Padbury pharmacy?
Popping in to say I miss my girls. :( to you all.
