Danni, so jealous of you too! How do you find putting the HAB on? Does it get easier once you're used to it?

Ash, how big is your man!!!! Nicky now weighs 6lbs 15oz (3152g), HC is 38cm and he is 52cm long. He is definitely the tiniest in MG LOL. I do love it though, I get to have a little baby for alot longer than most IYKWIM. I hope he did alright with his needles, I am SO dreading it. I've told Andy he has to come, there's no way I'm doing it on my own (well, someone has to drive us, but I want it to be him!!!). How did you cope?

Alex, don't you love RDO days!!! Today is not one for us, but I do look forward to them

Kelly, so glad things are going well for you now, that's great news hun!

I'd be lucky to have had two hours last night, and most of that was on the couch He didn't really want to feed, was just unsettled. Guess he had to be awake sometime Off to see the paediatrician today, thank goodness as these choking episodes are happening more and more ATM, I really hate them.

Hopefully I'll be able to log on tonight when we get home to post about how we went. Hope everyone else has a great day!

    Love Sez xoxo

Yep Tan, the first six weeks are at the centre for us, and then it's up to the mums. Maybe give them a quick call and check.........don't worry though I think they start up groups fairly often, so you'll fit in somewhere

OMG Danni 10 hours! I'm so jealous! Way to go Mason. Ok think I might get a HAB too seeing as everyone seems to love them. Where did you get yours, are they available in the shops or only online?? Ta!

Ash sounds like Blakey is thriving, what a champ! Looks like you've found the right formula for him. How are you doing hun, thinking of you heaps. Wish I lived close by! Was Blake ok after his shots?

Tan yep the first sessions are run by the MCHN and then its up to the group to catch up after that. I find it really helpful as we discuss a different topic each week and its good to compare notes with all the other mums.

Sez sorry you had a bad night, hope your little munchkin does better tonight. Good luck today at the pediatrician, poor little one I can imagine how distressing those choking episodes are.

Ok sorry no more personals as that means going back to other thread lol and I don't have much time. But hey to all those lovely mums and bubs that I've missed.

Well I think Elena is finally starting to get into a routine. For the last 3 nights she has slept from 11pm to 3.30am and then from about 5am to 9am. So its definitely getting better! I just hope that she continues and maybe stretches out the feeds a bit longer soon. I've been keeping a food diary of everything I eat and have found that certain foods seem to bring on her colic more. Just a thought for anyone else bf and having a windy bub!

Gotta go do some washing whilst little Miss is sleeping! Have a lovey day all!

Yep called them today they sell them for $115- Im gonna make one though if its just a strip of material!! Gonna check them out first!!!

Went for a walk with the pram today - a mission with the hills around my place!! She slept the whole time and I think she has finally worked out that being tired+cot+mum not jumping up at her little "I dont want to sleep grizzles" = SLEEP! Haha - even if it ranges from 20 minutes to 1 hour at the moment we are making some progress!! While shes at it I might have a nap myself!

    Back tonight for personals!

Thanks Danni and Tan - I'll check it out!

Tan I always find that a walk in the pram settles my little girl down, she loves moving and it beats rocking her all the time. Much easier on my back lol!

OMG Elena just went down again straight after her feed without any fuss! Yay now I might get to take a nap too!

I am making dinner but will try to be on later or tomorrow to catch up on personals. For the girls who want to make your own wrap there is a website that teaches you and give you instructions to use them as well, the HAB seems so easy, I went to spotlight and got my material today, I just need to hem around the edges. Just google mamatoto and you should find the site, there are a few different types of wraps on there. Have a great night!! We are going to watch Night at the Museum; family movies already, we saw Shrek 3 at the theatre last week

Sarah - is the HAB pattern on that site just the wrap pattern?? - (20 inches wide 15 ft long??) and what type of material did you get?? Sorry about the 20 questions! Hope you and Noah are going really well!! By the way Danni and I have a plan for Thursday - has she emailed you?? Ive added you to msn too - idiot - should have done it ages ago!

Lis - Glad Elena has been settling well for you - the pram is ace- I think Izzy is finally getting more used to it!! Hope you got your nap in this arvo too!!

Sez- thanks for the info about the MG's - I have my MCHN appointment this wednesday so will just wait til then. Hope Nicholas is going well too- what a cutie and you are right about having a baby - I feel like Izzy wont be a bubby for long - she is getting sooo big and heavy! Will find out how heavy on Wednesday i guess!

Ash - big hugs to little Blakey - Im soo not looking forward to shots after hearing everyone talking about it. Hope you are doing well too hun and getting lots of rest, you time etc.

Oooh bum cant go back any further - hope you are all going well and bubs are behaving!!

Well we had a mixed day - after settling really well - not sleeping too long although thats ok, and a great walk, she didnt settle this arvo - and we kept her up too late. She had her bath and then I tried to feed her at 630 and she kept falling asleep... so now she will be up at around 10 then 2-3 and 6ish - thats my prediction!!!!! Instead of 1-2 and then 6!! Gggrrrrrr oh well things we do and I really shouldnt whinge should I!!

Danni has motivated me - Myer have a big toy sale on so am already trawling the catalogue for things appropriate for a 7month old!! AND they have lay-by til Christmas! He he

My C/S area has been hurting still too -very annoying, allmy muscles feel stretched or something again , like they did at week 3... is that normal!!!!???

Anyway ladies - have an awesome night and will talk soon!

HI girls - just popping in quickly to touch base. Sorry i've been a stranger...my computer has been playing up and Paul's just fixed it for me tonight - YAY!!!

Tia is going fabulously! She's such an angel baby and is sleeping really well. A typical night is a feed about 8-9pm then she'll settle pretty well after that, a dream-feed (so she's still asleep) about 10:30pm, feed at 3am - settle straight away in her cot, then again at 6am. Will come into bed for that morning feed and will sleep with me til her 9am feed. Then we get up and she plays in her cot (watching her mobile) for about 20 mins while i get Ella bathed, dressed and in her highchair with breakky. She's putting on weight nicely, has lots of active time during the day where she'll sit and watch Ella or i, her mobiles or t.v.

Ella is continuing to be sensational with her, and Tia's presence in our house has not disrupted Ella's usual routine at all. I'm feeling really great and am still in denial that parenting 2 littlies is so easy and wonderful.

Anyway enough about me....i'm gonna be really slack with the personals right now but want to say a big hello to you all and hope that all is going well with your new little family members....Oh and how great is it having our new bubs names on our medicare cards - lol. I can't stop looking at my new one now with Tia's name added.

Ash - thanks heaps babe for checking how i've been. You're such a beautiful person honey and i've been smiling all day after your sms. Looking at your new ticker pic of Blakey - he looks to be growing so nicely - he's just adorable!!!

Lis - how is Elena's colic going? Did you end up going to the osteopath?

Danni - sounds like Mason is sleeping like a champ - GO Mason! It must be wonderful for you guys to have that big solid chunk of sleep.

Tan - i have a friend who's makes a hug-a-bub 'look-a-like' (they are the same as she used my HAB to model it from... shhh)- with whatever colours/designs you like for $40 and $12 postage and handling. They are made from exactly the same 100% cotton jersey material as the HAB and turn into a pouch for easy carriage/storage. If you are interested i can email you her link.

What a crap day I shouldn't be so negative, but it's hard when you're soooo tired! The paed said that Nicholas is very healthy and doing really well, but not gaining enough weight. So we're to attempt to give him two bigger bottles, instead of one, in the evenings. The choking is reflux (as I suspected) so we're trying a little thickening in his bottles. I'm going to talk to someone tomorrow about taking something to increase my supply, expecially as we're giving more bottles for now.

Then I dropped in to see my Ob as my suture area has been a little tender. I have a granuloma, so he gave me some local and removed it. What fun...NOT! I do love him though, he's so great.

So I'm feeling pretty crappy this evening and really hoping to get some sleep tonight. Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day!

Tan, I used jersey material and I bought a 2.5mtr long piece and it was 140cm wide so I cut 2 60cm wide strips and sewed the lengths together to make it 5mtrs long but you need to do a french seam so it stays together, I was going to hem the edges but it looks fine unfinished so I might leave it. You can just get a 5mtr length of material and make 2 out of it so you don't have to sew, one for you and one for Al. Thursday will be fun, did you add my cherry-pie dot com email? I don't see a request so I will add you. Oh yeah, my c/s has been killing me the last couple of days as well, I am going to ask my doc on Wed about it.

Rae, excellent that Tia is so good and that Ella is being so good for you too!

Sez, sorry to hear that your not in the best of spirits :hugs: Enjoy your sleep!

Sorry about my pathetic personals, I need some sleep desperately for my brain function! Hope everyone gets a good sleep tonight!!

    Hi Guys!!

Sorry, this might be a quick one again - my gorgeous little man is sitting is his rocker wide awake just looking at me. I'm not sure how much longer he'll sit there for - I've just spent ages catching up on everything and I'm certain he'll be bored with it soon.

All is still going well with us. The feeding is still coming along nicely, although the problem right nipple is feeling a little tender - might just use the nipple shield for the next feed or two and give it a break!! My little man is just adoroable too - he's been such a good boy and still sleeping really well. I can't get him to sleep much more than an hour at a time during the day (and that's if I'm lucky), except if we go out and about - he crashes in the pram!! So we're going out again today - another shopping trip - my boy is certainly going to get to know our local shopping centre, we've been there so many times!! I'm still just timing it between feeds as its too hard to attempt that out in public just yet. During the day, Luke's now going 4 hours between feeds, so it gives me a good 3 hours to be out and about!!

Oh and Luke has been smiling away over the last few days - it's just amazing!! He's making lots of noises too - talking away to us!!! I just love it and can't wait for the development to continue. He's really responding to us now!!

Sez - Big hugs to you honey - what a crappy day you had yesterday. I hope you were able to get some decent sleep last night and have a much better day today!

Rae - So great to hear things are goings o well with you!! I can't imagine having to deal with a toddler aswell!!!

Tan & Sarah - My C/S area has been hurting lately too!! I've only just started going out and about by myself and I think lifting the damn pram in and out of the car is to blame (and I've only done it myself once)!! My boy is a big boofer too and lifting him out of the cot is hard work on that area!! It's sooo frustrating.

Danni - OMG, 10 hours of sleep, I'm so jealous too!! I hope the photos still turn out well for you. Its always the way!!

Lis - Sounds like things are going really well with you guys!! I keep trying to work out whether the things I eat are affecting Luke but I just can't seem to figure it out!!!

Ashlee - I'm sooo not looking forward to taking Luke for his needles!!!

Ok, can't go back any further and Luke is starting to thrash the old arms and legs around - I think I did quite well, finally!! Hopefully I'll keep up a bit better one of these days, although this week and next week are looking quite busy for me, so I don't know how often I'll be able to log on.

I have my first Mothers Group tomorrow and can't wait. Sounds like its quite a big group as I've moved from the morning to the afternoon as there's just too many of us. The avo is better for me anyway, so hopefully I'll meet some lovely new people!!

    Take care.

    Kelly xx
