Steph-I'm so sorry for not welcoming you, I've been self centred but also busy, so WELCOME. As you'll see I didn't have my lil guy in May but I was due in May so I'll always be part of the group, even if they don't like it lol I'm putting Blake in family day care 1 day a week soon, just so I can get some things done around here! One of my friend's from school's mum has done FDC for as long as I've known her (15 years) So I trust her wholeheartedly.

Sarah-Fanks sweetums, sometimes I just need to have a whinge lol we just never seem to get a break. Congrats on Noah laughing, how cuuuute. I'm getting Blake circd too, eventually, I just need to get $450 and an appointment. 66cm is long, are you or Jus tall? What's your hotmail addy so I can add you to MSN?

Dan-LOL yeh it's going to be a household of fun when those 2 get going together lol hopefully they be nice and just be friends and sleep through for 12 hours at least. Yeh, right lol guess what? our pool has gone green owner is getting someone out this week hopefully, you'll need it as it's about 26 today!

Tan-Blake has a runny nose at the moment too, I've elevated the cot mattress too, have a vapouriser on, and our reverse cycle heater on all night to help. The cold air never helps to dry it up, so if you have a heater in your lounge or somewhere you can turn on, or an oil heater to put in her room, I would use those. Hopefully the runny nose is all she has!

Michelle-there is a whole thread on relactating, it's a difficult process but I'm willing to give it all I've got. That really stinks about Angus feeding 3 hourly, maybe he is just growing?

Lulu-I'm soooo excited for your scan. Makes me want to get preggo all over again just talking about it!!! We're going to start trying in December (maybe lol) as I realllllly couldn't handle getting up in the freezing cold again LOL December=September babies so it's quite warm even overnight by then (but I doubt I'd even conceive first month).

Blake got measured on Monday night....7950g, 69cm long and 43cm HC. Is he not the most giant baby ever? He is still putting on over 100g a week, it's insane!!!! The nurses at EBFC said they kept forgetting he couldnt sit etc as he looks sooo much older than what he is. I can't WAIT to see the size difference in Mason and Blake, I'm sure he'll look like a big bully kid against tiny lil Mason!

Lulu, that is great your morning sickness isn't bad this time, it would be hard enough to cope with the fatigue being pregnant and a baby. Unfortunately it is the Dr who says I need to leave, I do understand but it is hard for me, Juz's mum will be with me though.

Ashlee, I added you to my msn.

Quick question, the last few days, Noah has been really clingy, doesn't want to be put down or ignored and is harder to settle to sleep and crying heaps, do you think this is one of those wonder weeks? I might make a separate post in the hopes of someone with the book will answer. His behavior is so unlike him right now and it is very frustrating...

Sara, could be a wonder week, could be sick, could be a number of things. I hate not knowing! I just wish they'd pipe up and say "Mummy that hurts" lol

Yeah I wish that too Ashlee, everything I have read online says the wonder weeks around this time is 13 weeks and 17 weeks and he is 15 weeks and born on time so I am wondering if it is something else. I might mention it to the doc before his circ just in case, I would hate for him to be unwell and get circ'ed

Hey Sarah. Izzy is going through a clingy stage too. She cracks it big time if anyone but me or her daddy cuddle her. She is happy and content in our arms but if we hand her over to anyone else she really cracks it. Poor grandmas!!

Ash - I'm getting more used to the idea of being pregnant now. I was truly terrified at first, and then felt guilty about not being excited about being pregnant. Funny about you saying you're waiting until December for better weather - I said after being pregnant last time through summer there was no way I was going to do that again. Ha ha. And here I am living "Groundhog Year".

Went to Mum and Bub movie today. Izzy was an angel - had a bottle when we got in there and then slept on my shoulder the entire movie. Might have to make it a regular thing - was nice to get out and do normal grown up stuff. Bourne Ultimatum is on next week so I'll definitely have to try to get to that one.

Lulu - movie sounds great hun! I might try to go to one next week!! I love the Bourne movies! Sorry to hear you are not feeling the best - heres to m/s passing really fast for you so you can enjoy your pg!!!

Sarah -is the circ tomorrow- if so good luck honey hope it all goes well! Sorry if Ive got the day wrong. Hope Noah isnt sick either and is just going through a growth spurt or something.

Hello to all you gorgeous ladies and bubs!

Well Izzy has been all snuffly all day - poor poppet and her breathing seems to be quite fast and a bit wheezy so to ease this paranoid mothers mind (and my mothers mind) Im going to take her see my GP tomorrow. I know he will say to use a vaporiser, raise her bed and use Fess(all of which Im doing ) ah well!

Oh Ive posted another giggly vid u- so annoying how she will laugh when I sound like an absolute d!!k while she looks and sounds so cute! Ive also put some pics that my gf took up - the black and white turned out great - the colour are a bit wishy washy! Ah well- handy having a friend do them so it didnt cost a fortune and we can do it again! They are under photo shoot with aunty B!

Well Id better get to bed early for once- Ive been going way to bed too late the last few weeks. Hope you all have a great night!

    Hi gorgeous mum's and bub's,
I thought I'd finally gotten some time off to sit down and catch up on personals but Olivia has just woken up. Typical isn't it. She's been down since 1.45pm so she is starving and not interested in anything but booby so I've got to dash and I'll be back on later to catch up on personals.

OMG We had the circ today, I am a mess, I feel so guilty even though I wanted it done anyway, I have no regrets but it isn't nice to see my little man in pain, I hate the government taking away our choice to circ when it is our own without warning because I would have rather put him through it when he was much younger or waited until he could have a general.

It looks swollen and a bit like a rubber ball, did it look that way for you too Michelle? There is some blood as well which I was told there would not be much so I will be keeping my eye on it, I am just overly paranoid but better safe than sorry.

Ashlee - I did think 66cm was a bit long but he is indeed that long, Juz is 6ft tall and I am 5' 2". We got Noah weighed as well and he is 7kg on the dot, not bad for 3 1/2 months.

Lulu - It is great to just get out, it makes you feel normal to be able to go to a movie again, we have ours once a month on the first Tues, so next week and it is I pronounce you Chuck and Larry, I cannot wait. It's good to know that Noah is not the only one going through the clingy phase then, I don't mind but I was worried he could be sick.

Tan - Thanks for the well wishes! I hope all went well at the GP today!!

I better get started on dinner even though I feel sick to my tummy from the nerves. Hope everyone else is having a great day!!

I just wanted to say Blake had his first suckle today! He latched like a pro (thanks to the Tomee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles), there is obviously nothing there yet, but I had a pressure feeling in the back of my boobs where I guess my ducts are, so maybe something is brewing. Just wanted to share, I was really excited!!!

    Hi All!

Just a quickie! Sarah, I know how you feel! Angus's was quite swollen and the end was obviously bigger from the plastibell, it was also red and I was worried because there wasn't much of his doodie hanging out the end to wee out of iykwim!!!! I have to say his didn't bleed at all so I would keep an eye on it. My only advice is use heaps of vaseline with every nappy change. I used almost 2 large bottles over the course of 2 months, it also helps when the ring falls off. The only thing the paed surgeon said to me was watch that it didn't slip down the shaft at all and for excessive swelling. Although it does get really red when the ring is about to fall off! I was paranoid like you and kept getting my sister to check it cause she had 2 boys who were done also. Was totally new to me with only having had girls!!! Anyway, good luck!

Yay Ash!!! Congrats, hope it all continues to go well!!

I have to say I am very excited because after 2 weeks of Angus waking 3 hourly during the night, he is still in bed now, asleep!! I fed him about 9.30 and put him to bed at about 10pm so I think that made the difference. Normally he is in bed at 7pm and when he stirs I just give him the dummy. So last night I got him up when he woke at 8pm and played and fed him and he has slept all night wooo hooo!! I just hope it continues. Although I now have two very huge full BB's!!

    Take Care everyone!!

Thanks Michelle, the Doc didn't say anything about the Vaseline, do you just put it on the end? I am so frustrated because Noah has already had his 4 doses of Panadol in 24hrs he isn't in as much pain but if I pick him up or move him he is, I guess I just want to give it to him so he can get some more sleep. Congrats on the more sleep with Angus, playing is a good idea to tucker them out isn't it

    Welcome HubbaBubba!

Way to go Ashlee!!! You will be lactating in no time by the sounds of it!

I am going to try to go back to sleep, I am stuffed, I was up every hour last night and got about 3 hours sleep in total I was so worried for my little man. Will try to catch up later!

Michelle - Yay for ANgus - fingers crossed that he stays in a bit of a routine for you hun!!

    Hi everyone else!!!

Well since being sick Izzys sleep pattern at night is all over the place I know Im lucky to have had it as good as Ive had though. Last night she went to bed at 730, woke at 1230, and 6 and is sill asleep now. Im hoping once she gets better she will go back to dropping the middle of the night feed, poor thing.

Gotta go get Fathers Day pressies for my dad, FIL, Al and BIL birthday today and its soo windy in Melbourne. Will have to rug Iz up and have the wind cover on her pram for sure.
Better fly - catch you all soon - have a super day!

    HELLO EVERYONE!!!

Firstly, sincere apologies for being out of action for such a long time. I won't make excuses for myself other than to say I hope everyone is doing famously, and I will try my very best to do personals after I've spent a little bit of time reading up and seeing how everyone is doing!

I must say first off the bat though... CONGRATULATIONS LULU!! What amazing news and I am so pleased that a new miracle has decided to bless your lives so quickly!! I am so happy for you sweetheart and I think it's wonderful wonderful news!! I can't even bring myself to DTD since have Mia let alone fall pregnant, so you're way ahead of me!!! DTD is the last thing from my mind... I'm so exhausted each and every day that even thinking about s*x tires me out! LOL

Steph and Hubba Bubba - welcome to BB!! Lovely to have you in our group.

Sarah - how are things going with your invites hon?? Is everything coming along well? Sorry to hear you had such a bad day with getting Noah cir'd but I'm sure you've made the right decision for him - huge cuddles to the both of you.

Dan - how are you chicken?? I miss your smiling face - you're not planning on another Melbourne trip anytime soon are you?! Tan and I were saying the other day how we should organise another Melb May meetup! Olivia is such a clever girl, I'm so proud of her!

Tan - sweet, so glad to see you on Facebook too! I spread myself far too thin these days to keep up with everyone! Izzy is looking more adorable every day, cute litte thing! If you have MCN questions, ask away! They are all I use! As for sickies, I know how you feel! Mia has been so sick with a cold this last week/10 days and has been so miserable. Her whole feeding/sleeping routines are out of whack and she's just generally feeling sorry for herself. The only thing that's helped is Fess and some Vicks Baby balsam.

Michelle - as I mentioned to Tan, if you have any MCN questions - ask away!! And what FANTASTIC news about Angus sleeping! That's so wonderful!!

Ash - wowie!! Blakes a biggun' but I'm sure it's all love in there!! You're doing such a great job with him! Have fun with the meetup with Danni and Mason! And congrats on Blake starting to suckle - you'll be BFing in no time!!

Danni - how are you sweet?? How is Mason going since the plane trip and his illness? Are things settling down for you a bit now?

As for our update.... we're going well! I am absolutely so in love with my little girl and she makes me smile more and more every day.

She's been a bit sick lately, and has bad reflux which we're still trying to battle through. She's on Zantec 3 times a day and she's still crying during her feeds, which makes me upset. She's now refusing the bottle as well so even if I wanted to top her up with EBM, she refuses to take it so I'm getting a bit worried (especially if we ever want to go out again etc, and I can't BF - I'm petrified in fact!)

For the girls that are asking about MCNs, I'm a full time clothie mum and will be happy to help out if you have any questions.

Have been dabbling with a bit of photography at home too with some new photos of Mia - trying to decide if I should start to get a bit more experience under my belt and do something as a hobby/part time for little kiddies. It's so much fun!! Some new pics are on her homepage too.

As for me personally, I'm generally well! Had a couple of heart scares so I'm now hooked up to a heart monitor and have wires going EVERYWHERE (makes BFing all the more interesting!) so they can try and see what's going on... damn ticker!!

Hope everyone is wonderful and hi to anyone I've missed!!

Kristen - so great to hear from you. I hope your heart scares are nothing serious and the Drs can get to the bottom of it very quickly. Poor Mia with reflux. Its heartbreaking seeing them so unhappy isn't it. I hope things improve sooner rather than later. As for DTD, I'm blaming this baby on DH's birthday - after making the poor guy wait throughout my entire pregnancy with Izzy, I thought he deserved a quickie on his bday!!!!! I'm with you though on being too tired to even think about it. I've got the perfect excuse again now

Ash - that is fabulous news. I'm so happy for you that your first try at BFing again has gone so well. Crossing my fingers it continues to go well and in no time at all Blake is a booby baby again.

Sarah - you poor love. Its never nice to see our little ones in pain. I hope Noah's little boy bits heal quickly.

HubbaBubba - welcome to our little group.

Tan - sorry to hear Izzy's sleep pattern has been thrown. Its hard to readjust when you're used to sleeping right through the night isn't it? My Izzy woke at 3am this morning. She never does that anymore - goes down about 7pm and never wakes before 6am so it was a real shock to the system. Good luck with all your pressie hunting.

Michelle - I hope Angus' increased night sleeps only get better for you. Amazing how you can feel like a new woman with that bit more sleep.

Hi to Dan, Danni and anyone else I've missed (sorry!!).

I'm starting to feel pretty awful now - back to 24 hour "morning" sickness!! To top it off, I've got a constant headache which is occasionally becoming a migraine. I didn't get headaches at all and only migraines for a few weeks in my 2nd trimester with Izzy so I hope its not a sign that they're here to stay this time. Oh well. Such is life. Oh, and I already have a belly!!! How did that happen?? After being a size smaller than I was when I fell pregnant with Izzy only a couple of weeks ago I'm now looking at my maternity clothes again.

    Hi!

Sorry will be back later for personals! Just wanted to quickly tell you Sarah that the vaseline is very important, the paed surgeon that I went to said that after every nappy change put heaps of vaseline all over the end of the doodie and around the ring because it can adhere. Also helps them not hurt when they wee cause it is kinda raw skin where they have pulled the foreskin back (iykwim). He said that the vaseline should be used for 2 weeks even after ring falls off so that it doesn't adhere back down.

Anyway, be back later, have a BBQ to get to! See ya all!

    *Michelle*
