Just wanted to say hi! Been quite busy with a few things so haven't had the time to catch up again! Blake says hi to all yummy mummy's and bubs!
Hi Danni
You had me worried!! I just checked my paperwork, definitely just above the 50th line, I wonder if its different state to state with the figures. Yeah it must be, I just looked at 7.3kg at 6 months and its under the 50th line.
Thanks lulu and tan, just annoys me thats all!! I mean he's still in 000 as well, plus a couple of outfits that are actually a 0000
Happy half birthday to Julian!!!![]()

I'll be back later tonight or tomorrow and catch up with some personals cause I'm getting ready to go out for dinner for our 2nd wedding anniversay. Livvy is being baby sat by some great friends of ours. I don't know who is more excited. Me and Dave for getting out without our gorgeous Livvy for an hour or two or our friends who can't wait to baby sit. They have texted me for the last 3 days confirming tonight. It's so cute. I've got everything crossed she is good for them.
Better dash and finish getting ready. I might even shave my legs, shock horror!!
Have a great night ladies,
Luv Dan.

Hello Gorgeous Mummies!!!
Just a quick one to say hi and welcome Megs!! We've got quite the little (or should I say big) group now, it's just wonderful!! I'm loving it but don't expect me to keep up!!!!
Luke has been so wonderful for us today, just a really happy little boy, it's just gorgeous. Now if only we could make that happen every day - LOL!!! We've had the best little giggles today, he's lauging soooo much now, it's adorable. When he gets all giggly, I don't even have to do anything, he just keeps laughing, so much so that he can hardly breathe, it's just the cutest thing ever. I get tears in my eyes EVERY single time it happens. His sleeping is going great still too - I only had to get up for him twice last night, just before 3am but only to settle him. I haven't had to feed him at night for over a week, it's wonderful. He's completely waking at about 5.30am though, which is a bit of a bugger but whatever!! I'm still having trouble sleeping though but mainly because DH has been really busy getting a massive Uni assignment done - last night he got home at 1.30am!!! So, if it's not Luke waking me is DH!! I can't wait until this unit has finished for him - only a week to go until the exam!!
Anyway must get going, I'm really tired again for some reason so off to bed early. I'm having a little belated party tomorrow afternoon/night for my 30th, so that should be nice to get everyone together. We're having it at my Mum's so I don't have to worry about getting the house all ready and cleaning up afterwards - yay!!! Might even have a few champas to celebrate!!!
Take care.
Kelly xxxx
Far out...it's so hard to keep up! Lol.
Has there been a QLD meet up?? Or just the Melbourne one??
Dan i hope your anniversary dinner went well
Hello to MegsHope to chat with you more...
Argh, Khai is coming last in that compSniffle. And not JUST coming last, by about 30 votes. Sigh. I could have chosen a cuter pic tho!
This heat is KILLING me! I wish i had a pool...or at least knew someone with a pool! I just want to melt. I'm going to jump in a cold bath!
I'll be back later!
Hey there girls!
I've been busy etc and very very tired and not able to come in and talk to you all for such a long time.
Briefly here is where we are:
- Baby Leo is now waking every hour of the night and requiring feeding. He also still doesn't sleep really in the day. I am very tired and resigned to co-sleeping now
-Baby Leo is still exclusively breastfed. We are starting solids after 6 months.
-Baby Leo is nearly 9kgs and in size 0-1
- He is now in full time cloth nappies, it's been fun!
- HE IS SITTING ON HIS OWN!! He has been since 4 and a half months, he doens't hardly topple over either now, just sits totally unsupported.
-He grabs everything, feet, willy, signs off shelves in shops, bits of leaves off trees, etc. He picks everything up that he can reach. Scary, too early for my liking.
- Did I mention I am tired? He won't sleep! It's been this bad for around 2 months really. This night thing though 8-9 times a night then awake permanently at 6am is wearing me down.
I must go back and read where you girls all are and your bubbas. I'm just so tired and I must try and sleep now.
Tara - so glad you popped in, sorry to hear Leo isnt sleeping well hunI guess all we can do it tell ourselves it will pass eventually. What a clever boy sitting up!! I know what you mean about grabbing everything - Iz is a bit the same, the other day she a little dark speck of I do not know what in her mouth and no matter what I did I couldnt get it out!!! A few days later it came out in her poo and it turned out to be a tiny part of a leaf!! WTF!! Where did she get that and how did it get into her mouth I do not know but it scared the cr@p out of me!!
all - we are off to the IL's in the country today - hope bubs are all good and you have coped with the daylight saving changoever without too many hassles.
I was dreading the daylight savings change over, but it seems to have worked out nicely for us, Jack didn't have much of an afternoon sleep yesterday so instead of putting him to bed at his usual 7pm I put him to bed at 6 and then got him up at his usual 7am but daylight savings time IYKWIM? So confusing, but it worked! Well it has for now anyway
Clever Leo sitting up by himself!!
Tan have fun in the country. Amazing what these bubs will shove int heir mouths isn't it?
Hey guys.....
I've been flat out lately and although I haven't been posting here, I do get to quickly read and keep up a bit!!!
Toby is going great guns, eating cereal and vegies atm and lovin them!!!
He's sleeping great and only waking up once some nights but only for a feed!!!
And he's almost sitting up too.. Jack is getting better with him and is taking more interest now!!
But me...busy busy busy.. We got a new male dog and mated him with our female dog, so puppies just before xmas!!! Um, Nick is workin heaps atm too so I've been flat out at home and guess what!! I got a boob job!!! about 2 weeks ago!!It still hurts a bit and is a bit bruised still but YAY I've got boobs finally!!!
So that's what I've been up 2 lately and I'll be back soon, I promise... Gotta get the lil man to bed...He's fallen asleep nudie under his playgym!!!
Hi girls.
So sorry i haven't been on here for a while. Every time I have gone to type a message, bub seems to want my attention. She is asleep at the moment so I thought I would say hi! By the way are there any other Tasi mums out there??
We had Ella's christening this morning which went well. She looked so gorgeous and she was really happy! We went out for lunch with the family afterwards too so it has been a pretty big day for her.
I am going to try and do some personals. I will try my best to remember everyone!
Alex; Toby seems to be going well with eating his solids. I haven't started Ella on food yet but I probably will in the next couple of weeks (She is 5 months today!)
Megs: We have been on daylight savings for a while. It took Ella a few days to get used to it but now she is fine!
Tam: Have fun in the country!!
Tara: I hope things get better with Leo's sleeping at night. Can you express some feeds so your partner can do them one night on the weekend so you can get some sleep?
Bub crying for a feed. Will do more later!!!! Have a good night everyone!
Hello, I shouldn't really be posting here as Brendan was born in Feb, but he was due in May and is doing nothing 8 months old are doing. I just wanted to get a general idea of where your babies are up to milestone wise. Are they crawling, talking, sitting, ect? Anything else they are doing?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Regards Sally.
Oh wow!!!! It has been so long since I have posted and so many new mums and bubs that it may take me a few posts, sorry in advance if I don't do all the personals! I have just gone to the beginning of the thread and I don't think I have even posted in this one yet
Welcome to all the new mums to the thread, the more the merrier!! Although attempting personals will be even more of a challenge.
Firstbub, I hear you on the constant demanding of attention, Noah is on my lap right now demanding a feed.
Alex, what size did you get? I used to want a boob job but was too scared to go under the knife but then I grew some when Noah was born. Who knows though, I may need a lift down the road after all this bf-ing and may feel like an upgrade. What breed are your dogs? You will certainly have your hands full!!
Muggins, DST is a blessing in this house, Noah always wakes up at 6m and thanks to the change it is now 7am. Lets hope they keep it up!!
Tan, have fun today!!
Tara, you poor thing, I feel for you on the sleep issue, Noah is up 2 hourly all night and I thought that is worse case scenario, just goes to show there is always someone else worse off than you. I hope your situation improves, if I find out the secret of sleep I will pass it on.
Steph, there is a meet up thread elsewhere on the forum where you might find other BB members near you who are arranging a meet up or you could even start to arrange one. I think there is a great portion of us in the May Babies thread near Melbourne to accommodate a decent sized meet up. I hope you win, 30 votes isn't that many behind, go out there and rustle up some more help, get your friends to ask their friends etc. Good luck!!!
Kelly, Happy belated birthday!!! Hope your party went well. Yay for Luke sleeping through!!!
Dan, how did your anniversary dinner go? Did Olivia behave for your friends?
Ashlee, I hope you are doing well!!!
Jan, good to hear you are well, happy 6 months to Julian!!!
Lulu, how are you going lately? Any more scans, are you feeling lots of kicks?
Danni, sounds like things are improving for you, yay!!! I hear you on the bank balance, a single income is a real bummer. I am really thankful for the FTB even as small as it is. In Canada you get nothing if your partner works.
Ok that is about all I can manage for the time being, Noah needs some attention now. I am really working on skill developing and floor play with him, he doesn't even roll yet and I feel like it is my fault for always carrying him around and holding him. He rolls to the side but can't lift his head up to make the full turnI checked his weight and length the other day and he is 7900gms and 68cm so a big boy!! I better dash!! Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend!
