tara - i started with pumpkin as the first veg. apparently potato can cause constipation - and as we were already having enough problem in that area as it was I have avoided it! I make sure now that Aston has pears once a day, as I have found that it helps his digestion. And Avocado is also supposed to be gentle to digest. So far all he has had is pumpkin, pear and avocado, all liberally mashed up with breast milk. I gave the rice cereal the flick, other then half a teaspoon in with the pears - more for the iron content. since I have done that things have improved in the feeding front. I'm taking it slow introducing new things, because of the horror we had to begin with. He is having two meal a day at the moment, and has for the last three days. I think he is teething though, we up in the night with a very distressed little man, who wouldn't feed, so I gave him some bonjella, then some panadol half hour later when he was still upset. he has very rosy red cheeks, and biting down on everything and anything.

Thanks tara - I am still feeling very sad about my friend. I think probably because I had GD as well when I was pregnant with Aston.... and I can't help but have the "that could have been me..." running through my head. It has made me sit and contemplate a bit...
added to that AF arrived this evening - I knew it was coming! I have endo, so I get quite bad pain, add that to the tired hormonal mess that I am...well...you can just imagine how fun it is at my house at the moment!
