Thanks AJP and Christy on the oats preparation, and the cold remedie info. I will have a look at the chemist for some- I feel foul! (oh yeah - thanks too about the avocado - going to do the same thing.)

Glad Evie liked the Avocado Taralee. Yes Aston did have a funny tummy for a while when we started food. So I went to just giving him pear for a couple of weeks. then moved on to other stuff. We took it really slow after the stopping and starting...and that seems to have worked, becuase now he is eating three meals a day, and is pooing regularly too. His system must be ready now for it.

Ann I hope Ella is ok - its scary when they have continual temps, and they can't tell you where it hurts!

Blanche - I haven't heard of that diet. Good luck with it - I'll barrack for you from the side lines. Are you starting an exercise program too of some sort? I want to start pilates to get my stomache back into shape. Three babies, and three c-sections, the muscles are stuffed, and that has lent to my back being bad.

Kim - I hope you FDC listens to your letter, and takes on board what you have said. How are you feeling? Any better?

God I wish I could to bed - but a little hard to do that with bub, and boy on board. Laura has gone to a friends for a sleep over, so it is just Aston and Nathan. Will just have to lounge around I think....

i dont even want to know about diets! i think i'm a few kilos heavier than before i go pg, but i feel podgy. a few people say i look teeny but i think they are saying that to make me feel better and its making me feel worse!! i have a lot of body to try and fit within my short 5ft!!
blanche, my nurse-lady said that babies cant digest weet-bix until they are 10mths...i dont know whether thats true or not, but if emelia has a sore tummy after it then that could be why

Roseola. That's what Ella has. 4 days of fever and then a rash that covers their torso. It takes 2 days for the rash to disappear. I dont know how she got it?!

I hope tonight will be a better night for sleep. She was up every hour almost last night and i'm a walking zombie today. Had a meeting at work - hope i made sense.

Kim - its awful. Hate fighting with DH - he's hopeless at reconciling problems and likes to walk away from them. It irritates me and then I go after him and snap at him. Hope you can sort it out tonight. Hugs

I cant believe how common roseola is. kids got it all the time at kindy, i think it's in saliva and stuff, not airborne. but not entirely sure.
    glad you're feeling better kim
hope everyone has a good night
btw - this crawling thing is not as great as i thought it would be. evie's worked out how to push buttons on the dvd and stuff and as soon as she's on the floor she makes a beeline for it and just smiles when i call her back. lol so cheeky

Ann I thought roseola only because of the way you described it. Poor sausage, hopefully she'll be looking up soon now.

Kim - Glad you have started to sort things out - even though by the sound of it you will have some adjusting to do... Chelsea is such a little poppet isn't she, how long is she?

Blanche - walking is the best exercise. I have been missing it so much! When my knee starting hurting, then my back went, I haven't been able to go for days and days. That's probably half my head problem at the moment, no natural endorphins running around. my back is feeling heaps better, as is the knee, so i hope to start again - last physio appointment today, so I will see what he says.

Taralee - we have to go shopping for a cabinent to put all the tv stuff in for that reason, to stop pressing buttons. Even though aston isn't quite crawling, he still rolls over there, and gets the PS3 button!! You have prompted me to act sooner rather then later, and we will be looking later this week for one! How did Evie go last night?

Ann- poor baby girl Ella, I hope she is feeling better soon, and for that matter mummy too! Don't you start work soon????

Christy - how's Jovie doing? I know what you mean about needing to lay down, and how do they do it! yesterday all I wanted to was sleeeepppp. I ended up being able to lay down about 4.30 when Aston had a late afternoon nap...lol. Better late then not at all I guess.

I've been feeling really flat for the last couple of weeks. All the stuff that has been going on in my life (other then having a 7mth old baby that doesn't sleep through yet) has finally gotten on top of me, and on the weekend I really felt like I was going to implode. I have suffered from PTSD, depression and acute anxiety disorder in the past, and I could feel symptoms of all three of them rearing their ugly heads. Yesterday I had some friends over with Babies (a couple of the ones I met months and months ago at the parenting young babies 6week course) and it made a difference to my well being. It was nice to laugh and chat, and be relaxed. Right up until someone arrived I was ready to cancel. But are glad I didn't. I have to make my self do stuff that feeds my soul, otherwise I feel like it may just surrender to the darkness. When you have moments of "light" in your life you remember what its like to smile and laugh, and feel good... so I am on a quest to find lots of moments of light...

Thanks for putting up with me, and my moans and groans...

Yeah VIcky there will be alot of adjusting to do.....but like every other time.. i get by
Chelsea has always been little. She was born 48cm...and at last measure around 3 weeks ago she was only 61cm and 6.9kg. Has always been under average and the nurse reckons she will always be a petite little thing.

had a sh*t of a night last night. i think she got too cold..i never know!
she just keeps waking up crying, i dont know if she really needs something or not but she doesnt stop crying until i go to her...i'm so lost on that front.
funny everyone talking about fights, we had a good one this morning...over what else?! money of course. i dont think guys get how hard it is for mums to leave bubs with someone else. not only that but if i go back to work f/time i also am up all night plus have all the other household chores.
my good ol' irish temper strikes again!

Well I think the last few weeks have caught up with me. We've had colds and then Matilda had gastro and then visitors and teething & last night we were up for a few hours in the middle of the night & I just couldn't face the day today. DH got me up & to the lounge because he was supposed to go in early and made me coffee & while he was getting ready for work I fell asleep on the lounge & spilled coffee all over me & the dog. Luckily Jovie was rolling around on the ground watching Matilda. Then DH made me get up & have a shower to try to wake up but I wound up falling asleep in the shower... I sat down... strange and luckily I cleaned the shower yesterday

So DH stayed home & put me to bed & took Matilda to day care & I got to stay in bed for 3 hours!!! He's just made me another coffee & is taking Jovie to the shops with him to get food for the house.... I still feel like I could curl up & sleep for hours, so I think I will take advantage of him staying home & do just that.

It appears my carer had 90% listened to me..YAYAYA
Chels was last feed in care at 530.... much better then the usual 630-7. So i was able to have her in bed at 9pm and she slept til 8am. Had a feed and back to bed for 2 hours. Now she is refusing to drink her bottle..lol

How nice of DH to stay home Christy to give you a break.. u deserve it!!
