So sad when you hear stories like that Tara. Puts all the sleepless nights of rocking into perspective doesnt it.

Poor Sophie. Does she have any other cold like symptoms? Keep going with the baths and dress her down to bring that temp down. Also keep the panadol up.

We were up every 20mins from 10.30 - 1am. Patting her to sleep. I fell asleep sitting at the end of her cot. Then up again at 1.30 for the second feed of the night. After that she almost fell asleep on the boob. I popped her down and she did the rest. Then up at 5.30. I gave her a tiny feed rocked and patted for an hour. DH took over and she went the sleep in 15mins! Tara - can DH have a go settling Evie? I noticed she goes to sleep faster with him.

I'm trying to reverse her feeds so she feeds more during the day. Recently she's only been snacking during the day and guzzling the milk at night. Also been trying to feed her then have her play before putting her to bed. Hoping this will start to remove the feed to sleep association. Its hard as she's really become use to having a tummy full of milk to put her to bed but I think that's half the problem. So lots of rocking and patting to teach her that she doesnt need it. Then i guess reduce the patting and rocking...that's the plan anyway.
