Hi there everyone - just let me reintroduce myself since I haven't been here for ages!!!!

Sorry I too have been feeling blah have been lurking and reading but not posting. Not sleeping very well Jake has been better tho but knocked myself out last night with a sleeping tab and went for 12 hours.

Jake has cut his next 2 top teeth in the past few days - he now has 6 - and the next bottom 2 are there almost about to cut. He has been on and off his food but I am blaming teeth for that.

We went to a 2nd bday on Friday and a first yday and more to come.... it's the beginning of party season!

I have a wedding this weekend and am away Friday and Saturday bcos I am a bmaid and Jake is with Darren friday and a friend Sat nights. It will be my first ever baby free nights. AM a bit worried about the boobies but Jake has started dropping back to just 2 main feeds and a snack after lunch so maybe I can get him to drop the snack this week so I only has to express twice....

Vicky hope you are hanging in there call if you need to sorry no personals me either but promise to keep up now.

Gigi - what about those crayons you can get for in the bath? they're quite cool - you can also get 'stick on' shapes that they can stick around the bath. just to take the focus entirely off crawling. These are a great way to develop fine motor skills and express creativity

Kim - I was HUGE with Ella as well. People kept insisting I was about to deliver but I was only 20wks! LOL

Nelly - We're in exactly the same boat. Ellas 5th and 6th teeth are just under the surface and are pushing through. i wouldnt be suprised if i see them tomorrow. But yep, not eating much today. I find when she is teething she likes food that massage her gums - pasta etc.

Gigi - Ella was choking when she had mushed foods but we gave her some small button-size pieces of toast and she finally got it after a week or so. It was important for us not to force the eating chunky foods coz we didnt want her to feel negative about eating so we gave her toast every second day.

Vicky - how are you feeling?

AJP - which airline are you flying. We're thinking of taking a trip up to Cairns...

Blanche - wow she's so strong! Ella can pull her bum 15cms off the bottom of the bath. but that's it.

Ellas started clapping but she claps hand over hand instead hands together she's so cute.

    Hello!!!

okay... I'm going to catch up I promise!

QLD mummies, would love to catch up sometime in the next few weeks!!

Jovie update: no idea how much she weighs but she seems to have skipped size 0, too bad too because I had some really cute stuff that she didn't get to wear (luckily they were Matilda hand me downs). She's mostly wearing size 1 depending on the brand. Two weeks ago she stood up on night & then whammo, she cruised around the table. Now shes up all the time climbing up & cruising. Still commando crawling though, not interested in proper crawling. She's into more stuff now and we've had to lift things up for a while & cover power outlets again. She's learned the "ah ah" phrase and now will crawl up to the oven, touch it and said "ah ah" and shake her head no pretty smart cookie.

Life for us: we are having a house built behind us which is so noisy during the day I tend to escape. Its beautiful weather so will have to get out & start walking now that my toe is healing up. No more excuses for not walking... other than its too hot

Working more lately, I get this weekend off.

    What else...... not much really

I've been reading about you all and not respoding much because life has been hectic. Things will settle now. I'm joining a sewing circle on Wednesdays now so that will be heaps fun. Just something to do and we will all just go to each others houses & do projects & have the kids run feral.

    Hi Monchika, welcome!
We have 1 tooth and another right below the surface that, judging by the grizzling and right cheeks and chin, is about to pop up any minute.
First swimming lesson today!!! sooo cute! she's the youngest in the class of 6 and these another girl named evie!!! Grrr!!!
AJP - would luuurve to catch up over a beer or two when you come over! when is it? feb?
Christy - nice hearing from you again! yes a meeting would be good!! how many attempts is this now?
Blanche - no i dont think malibus are around anymore - except the ones with cola but thats not the same!!
Vicky - how are you feeling? any better?
Kim - i'm rather large in the chestal area too, try the lovable maternity bras - they are so fantastic. i've worn nothing else since i was 4mths pg...still an E cup but the boys love it! lol
Nelly - i hope the sandman visits you and Jake soon. remember to sleep when he finally does and dont find something else to do...like me right now...lol
Ann - is your dh tall? i'm so tiny but dh is tall so i'm hoping evie eventually is like her daddy.
    How is everyone else?
better go do some stuff while baby evie is asleep..where the hell does the time go!!!
