    hey hey I'm here again

Hello to new ladies, or recently returned ladies, hope all is well with you all. We have had a busy few weeks with my best friends wedding last minute things going on. Sorry have been reading but not posting.

Had the wedding at Maleny this weekend so was away from Friday morning and didn't see Jake until Sunday after noon. The wedding was lovely except my massive cleavage grew and grew.... my stupid breast pump broke was trying to express manually but woke up Saturday morning massively engorged and lumpy and so so sore. Tried hot packs, cold packs, manually expressing with very little relief. The property we were staying on had a tiny calf running around and I was tempted to grab it and stick t on my bb!!!!! Saturday night they were really hot and painful and luckily there was two other lactating women at the wedding so was able to borrow one of their pumps at about 8pm to give myself some temporary relief. Sunday morning was hot full and lumpy again... when we got home Jake went straight on and was feeding 3 times that afternoon / evening, same yesterday, but my supply is still down so am trying to put him on as much as possible to get my supply back.

*sigh* Jake is sick again. Super high temp yday 39.4 wouldn't go down even after panadol bit couldn't give him nurofen bcos he wouldn't eat or drink or bf. Wouldn't wake properly just wanted to lie on me and whimper or scream alternately. Rushed to Dr just a throat infection (?) on antibiotics again was ok the rest of the day but still high temps. Was much happier first thing this morning then he decided to follow me outside pushed the gate over and went head long down the steps and had our first bleeding nose. That was at 7am and he was ok after some panadol but has been screaming last 2 hours and is covered all over legs and arms with a rash like a red stain. Chucked him into tepid bath he settled and has now finally gone to sleep - had to feed him to sleep for the first time in months.

    gotta love this job!

what is it with sickness this year???? Aston has an ear infection and cold, and I now have it too. I could quite happily lay down and die actually.... throwing vitamin c down my throat, and panadol for the oh so aching head - face - ears - throat. No wonder Aston had such a shocking night on Sunday night. Took him to the doctors on Monday -I knew he had a ear infection, the symptoms were all there. Thankfully he slept alot better on Monday night - dosed to the eyeballs on antibiotics and pain relief (btw have any of you tried the drops you put in their ears when they have ear infections? Does the trick!) I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday with a throat like swallowing razor blades, and went down hill from there. I had better be well by Friday - we are going away for three days to Bundaberg, Bargara to a unit right on the beach. I'm so looking forward to the change of scenery and the opportunity for the 5 of us to connect and strengthen the bond that my ex would love to undo. Life has been so hectic and up and down... its got to settle soon....

It seems all of our lifes are full on at the moment... wonder what the stars are saying - is it a phase of the moon???? well it can move on any time say I. Hugs to you all. And thanks for thinking of me and mine. xxx

its too soon Kim!!! You still have 3.5 weeks to go... trust me, as uncomfortable as you are feeliing, you want to get at least til 2weeks before EDD... were you over, on time, or early with Chelsea?

going shopping today for a new swim suit... one that covers up all my bits... 3 babies has taken its toll on my body I think. While I have lost quite a bit of weight recently (stress will do that to you!) and new clothes are getting too big... I'm still an odd shape... maybe I should just embrace it as my Mother shape, and rejoice in the fact that I have 3 beautiful children to show for the changes

Kim I hope the hospital goes ok and you can get some rest before bubba comes. Poor Chelsea is she any better?

Destructo babies I know - vac'd and tidied yday and by the time I went to bed messy again. Just reinforces to DH that housework is not my forte!

Qld girls interested in a picnic next week?

Vicky what are the drops - prescription or over the counter?

Evie's down for second naps already after being up aaaallllll night. not crying, just being unsettled and tossing and turning. Her second tooth came through and again she is sneezing, puffy red eyes and runny nose like she had when the other tooth came through so i'm assuming it's all related. so she sleeps for like 30mins and then is awake rubbing her face, she's driving herself nuts, poor little thing.
Sorry to hear everyone else is having a rough time too
Picnic could be good Nelly. If housework isnt your forte, then getting your a$$ into gear is! i think this is the 4th one you've tried to organise eh? good for you punkin lol

Vicky, Chelsea came 3 days before her EDD so not early really. Goodluck with ur swimmer shopping.

Tara you poor thing. Chelsea was up at 1130-1 last night... and only just had a 20 min nap on the way home in the car, now wide awake and wingey.

Nelly, Chels is a lot better today, just gotta get rid of her cough!

lol Vicky I like that the mother shape.... I'll remind myself of that.

Jovie's just not been sleeping at all lately during the day. She's been up since 5.30am and I'm so tired I could cry. I tried taking them for a walk, feeding her, feeding her again, rocking her in her room, on the verandah, in the lounge room...she's cranky & tired and this is the 5th day she's not had a morning sleep. I think I'll have to get used to it rather then spend all morning trying to get her to sleep & then not get things done that I had planned because she sleeps at lunchtime & then Matilda rests afterwards....

Kim Full on.... 5 weeks. Sounds so quick, not quick enough for you I'm sure. I guess thinking that in 7 weeks you will be holding bub will help.

nelly picnic sounds good, for us if its Monday arvo, tuesday or Thursday its great, Wed & Friday are a bit more complicated for me because I have Matilda & she's a runner.... so if the park isn't enclosed its very hard. We went to the lansborough park last weekend & it was perfect for her.

    Tara *hugs*
