I kinda used to get that... but now having Craig home 24/7 he sees wat i went thru for the first 9 months alone 5 days a week, 12 hours a day. And i quote Craig "That kid does my head in"....lol

Oh i hope Sophie stays asleep for you.....makes a long day if she wakes again.

Lately of a night i check Chels is asleep but refuse to move her if she isnt under the covers for fear of waking her. She been sleeping thru again since i added the vapouriser to her room whilst she has this cold...seems to be working well.

On another note... was doing the gum/teeth check tonight... and 2 more top teeth are coming thru....my golly gosh 6 toothie pegs now!! No wonder ive had a grizzly and sick lil girl all at once.

She no longer has baths.. but big girl showers with daddy each night....seems to calm and relax her so much more....so once something is working.. i stick to it...til it phases out and im back to square 1

Poor you AJP. Can she go to sleep if you rock her? Has the panadol worn off?

When ella has a rough night we stay at home the next day and keep the day simple. Otherwise she gets excited being out and then doesnt sleep again.

If it continues during the night take shifts with DH so at least you get some sleep.

Good luck please sleep for mummy Sophie...

    Hey everyone

been a long while between visits again

just thought i would pop in with a Cooper update while i was thinking of it

He is now around 10kgs, has 4 teeth, he is nearly walking, he walks holding your hand but not that steady as yet, he walks along the walls with no trouble though, he says mum, bub, ta, car he is now copying what we say too, Mason was yelling whats that to everything on the tv screen, so cooper went and stood in front of tv yelling whats that lol, but he doesnt do it by himself, its funny though, he said what is it to a game we were playing earlier
He refuses to say Dad though lol, i have heard him say it here and there but when DH says say Daddy he just laughs at him lol, love his style
Asked him if he wanted vegetables the other day and he shook his head no lol
Everyone has gone through the sickness this winter so that was horrible, slowly the weather is coming to be nice more often than bad so we are getting out more

Cant believe its nearly the first birthdays already!!

hope that everyone is going well and i will pop in again sometime soon

good to hear from you belinda!!!!!!

well she was asleep by 10.15pm on her knee faces planted into the matress!! very cute, couldnt move her for fear of waking, she sleep 10 hours so pretty darn happy!!!
ANN she's a very independent sleeper, has never been one to fall asleep being rocked or fed, would be ahndy sometimes!! also gave her some more panadol but i really do think it was a case of overtiredness

AF showed up again this morning which i was expecting after the cramps and sore nipples i had afortnight ago, 46 day cycle so will see how long the next one will be

AF is surprisingly light, i expected much worse, then again its only day one!!!

Oh Kim - Sounds like Chelsea is testing you reaction. Ella does the same thing - bites and then smiles to see what i'm about to do. If i say NO. she cries. ah well they will learn eventually. God kim you are due any day now. If we dont see you online we'll assume youre holding your new bubs. so exciting.

AJP - yeah ella cries when she gets zipped in for bed. But she goes to bed easily after a whinge.

Hi belinda - I was just thinking about you the other day. Sounds like Cooper is doing extremely well and you'll have a walking talking baby soon. We're trying to teach Ella "Ta" as well. She enjoys giving us things so its a great chance to teach her.

Well we had a great day. Caught up with a friend over yumcha and Ella tucked into a radish loaf and tried to eat all the other dumplings we were eating. Not looking forward to going to work at all tomorrow and dealing with grown children. Ah well another day another dollar....

oh Belinda its awful isn't it? I saw a photo of myself taken a few weeks ago and I hate it, everyone says how nice I look, but all I can see is how big I am. I'm not that big, but compared to what I was pre baby, I'm big.

    Hi guys,
Just popping in to say we're still here. Sleeping going same as usual, usually asleep by 630 up at 930, anytime between 12 and 3 and then up for the day around 530. i have just accepted that that's how her sleeping is.
Another tooth through so thats 2 now. Saying 'ta' for thankyou, climbing down from stairs/bed/couch backwards.
Off to swimming lessons, hope everyone has a good day
Did anything get decided about the QLD meeting?
BTW I think it's the season for feeling 'big and frumpy' i need a serious self overhaul lol
