OMG ann thats sooooo funny!!! nothing worse than a pollywoffle inthe pool!!!
sophie pood once during swimming lessons but was contained in her swim napppy just a bit messier!! not nice to clean up, enjoy the water!! what did ella think of it???

tara poor evie, sophies teething as well and so far it's not a good start to the day, been crying poor popette, shes got 2 cutting and another just under the gum.
wow in 6 times already she must be in pain, how are you going??
sophie woke at 11.30pm last night, which i think was teeth then back to bed til 6am which is still TOO early, i tell you im more sleep deprived than when she was a newborn, but i really shouldnt complain,
mind you its 7.30am she been up for 90 mins and shes gone back to bed!!

christy poo on the sleep your girls are party animals!!

Gigo what do bilbies nappies look like after figs and sultana's????? dont worry about the sweet savoury thing she;ll get there, otherwise do a spoonfull of savoury with sweet on the end of the spoon, that way she thinks its all sweet but its not!!

LOL Jovie poo's out grapes after eating too many sultanas hehehehe...

We bought swim nappies from kmart funny enough... they are like speedos bottoms with a lining and drawstring... I've used them for both Matilda & Jovie over the years & love them!

Party animals.... *sigh* thats my girls.

Gigi Matilda still has days when the only thing she will consume is fruit Yesterday was one of those days & I made a smoothy & put rice milk, vege protein and probiotics in just to make sure she had something else in her other than fruit. She only drank half but I felt better.

Jovie is off her fruit atm, only wants savoury food... thats okay with me but it makes her poos more interesting and difficult to get out.

AJP - you get to sleep from midnight til 6am - wow, that sounds wonderful - i'll take that one please! ha ha.

thanks for the feedback on the bathers, i'm definately going with the snaps ones after your comments! NN had new pull up ones (swimmer nappies) today, most of the sizes went like hotcakes.

I noticed that NOVITA (crippled children's association) promotes the Eenees ones for the children that use the hydro pools for therapy. (aplix closing at back and ties, i think.

whoever asked what a tiny bilby poop is like after creamed oats, sultanas and figs, well it's all pureed up in a Heinz baby jar formula, so no actual sultanas to swallow (you prolly knew that), and we are seeing a few formed squished eggs / plasticine - and a bit of kinda baked beans looking stuff. Half kind of "peels" off the name and half is still more lava like and REALLY does need the little squirt to get it off. It's getting a little neater with this peel off business.

I was feeding her the oats/figs/sult concoction today at mum's group, when the mum of a three month old said loudly "oh that's what i give my bub for breakfast". and here was i giving it to bilby for lunch and being so grateful she ate the whole jar. That person wasn't trying to be insensitive, she was just stating what she does. But i still felt "great, failed again". stupid i know.

today at mum's group, they heard bilby say Dad Dad clearly, and for the first time, she crawled all the way over to me at the table, from where i left her at the playmat (10ft away in my line of sight).

Ella would be a perfect candidate for the pool poo....she loves pooing in the bath. The number of times i've watched as little pellets bob around on the surface of the water! Then we yank her out and have to run another bath.

Is everyone suffering with sleep with the sun rising earlier?? Ella sleeps fine but is up at 4.30/5am its waaay too early for us.

Tara - LOL facebook is addictive isnt it! i keep looking for long lost friends too.

Yep we are up with the birds in the morning.... *yawn*

Gigi, Jovie often has fruit pureed with rice cereal for lunch so don't worry!! She gets constipation and I feed her that to help if she hasn't pood in a few days. Then she won't stop pooing for days

sleep was a little better last night, 2 four hour blocks but she was quite restless and grizzly up until around 1130, awake at 5 of course but slept in our bed til 6. then daddy took evie i got a sleep in! yay!
went to swimming today and when we got there they said we'd be in the outdoor pool which i wasnt too happy with cos it was in full sun, we put sunblock on and she was only in there for 20mins but i probably wouldnt have gone had i known we'd be outside!
we too have peely poos..so convenient! they clean themselves up!

i took bilbs to the Speech Therapist at a community health centre today, and fed her in front of the ST. ST is not worried, thinks bilbs babbling is age appropriate, she definately has a sweet tooth is all, and suggested ways to get her to eat savoury. She also said she sees bubs that are breastfed exclusively til 12 months, so not to worry. It was very reassuring.

It's the comments i get from people e.g mum's groups that get to me. But in reality, the comments are from people who parent in a very different way to me. I don't know why i take their comments to heart, i don't in other areas, but it seems to touch a nerve when it's about bilby eating. (being backward, failing).

I'm glad you got more sleep last night Tara, and even a sleep-in - that's grand!

Christy, i have been worried that if ALL bilbs is getting is cereal type food and pureed fruit and yogurt and custard that i would give her diarrhoea. Unbalanced diet.

we haven't had daylight saving start yet, i think it's the last weekend in Oct it starts for us. (oh joy!!!).

two sleeps til Mooove and Groooove - yeh! the dancing (wiggling her tush) bilby can rock out!

I walked into a Community Childcare Centre for the first time today, i was very impressed. And they have no problems with bilby being in MCN either, which i was relieved about. They like to know the normal routine of each child, so they can replicate that as much as they can. Like we wrap bilby for sleep, so they would too. I only want it for two hours a week while i do a community gardening session nextdoor, but the least you can book for is half a day. It will be so strange to leave her with strangers. i've never left her with anyone but dh before. Not sure i will go thru with it, but it's a possibility. I would prefer a centre with occasional care so i could get a haircut and go to the dentist, but i really did like the attitude and ethics of the place i walked thru today. Where they put the 0 - 2 yo's is called "The Joeys".

Are there day care options for half day or occasional? That would be really handy for those times you would prefer to be baby free.

We are on Sulphur based ABs now Jake's bronchiolitis has worsened and he now has infection and a middle ear infection. Am really over this never ending merry go round of illness and ABs. Christy which probiotics do you use?

Only 2 more sleeps until we go away on our family holiday to Stradbroke Island for a week. We've booked a beach house at a really good rate bcos it's mid season - very excite but have cr&p everywhere while I try to pack and figure out what we need to take.

Surprisingly our nights have been fairly good all things considered but jeez his nappies are really stinky atm. Trying to organise his 1st party before we go bcos when we get back I'll only have 2 weeks. Just close friends and the few family members we have scattered but it is already 40 people!!!!

Jake dropped his morning feed this morning I hope it is only bcos I went to exercise class and he and daddy had breakfast together.... we are only down to 2 feeds and I love those snuggly moments! Gigi don't worry about Bilby while you are BF her she will be getting all she needs.

    How are we all today?
