just made a pav for the bbq we are going to this arvo! I want to bake something else and daggles just told me I don't have to bake to be useful and gave me a big hug. I haven't done housework for a while so he could have been narky and told me to put my energy elsewhere.. I'm just feeling a little lost looking for something to do but in reality there is lots to do - if that makes sense!

:hi: I've been uber busy with work & my mum coming out from the US. I'm exhausted all the time & stressed with stuff. I'm here though!!

Nelly, I totally get it. I get into my cooking & baking so much that my house looks like a dump half the time, but we have really good food!!!

christy I love your new av! Or is it old and I have only just noticed.....

well Jake played musical beds last night his chest is giving him some botherance - from his to ours, so DH went to sleep in the spare room, Jake kept tossing and turning so I told him if he didn't go to sleep he could go back to his bed - so he got up and trotted out! I thought wow that was easy. Then he apparently got in with DH, then told DH he wanted to go back to his bed so DH tucked him in and thought he had gone back to sleep. I woke in the middle of the night with DS snuggled into me so I have no idea when that happened - left him there he was all snuggly and not feeling right I don't think. So DH and I are tired, DS has gone to daycare today (yay) so I have a to do list amile long to do - which doesn''t include wasting time on the computer so I really should try and be disciplined .

Tara how did the first day of solo care for you go? Sorry brain is fuzzy and I can't remember if you already posted. Hope Evie went well and you had a lovely day with Chino.

Christy I meant to ask how is it all going with your mum over here? Hope there hasn't been too much extra stress on top of woking huge days etc.

We had a curry last night with friends over. Yummy. Got the girls bouncing around.

    In our house:

    - Ella still has the dummy and is still in love with it
    - No potty training as I cant run after her with the potty so we'll wait till after the babies come
    - Havent baked for ages. Missing it. A pav sound delicious hmmmmm... i wonder if i could beat those eggs lounging on the sofa. LOL
    - Getting our room organised for the bubs. Kind of feels like nesting. But we've got at least 6 weeks to go.

Kim - Did you manage to speak to someone about what happened? its awful feeling scared this close to the DD.

Gigi - Are you alright? I read your post (probably missed a whole lot) you said you were leaving DH???

Vicky - Laura is such a beautiful young woman. You must be so proud.

Nelly - How's Jake's peepee? has the UTI gone?

Me? I'm off to the physio today to see if there is anything i can do for the pelvic symphysitis its killing me!!!!

hi ann! wow just looked at your blog Ella is just beautiful!!! Your tummy looks great too in the Hamo pics - glad I'm not the only preggo wandering the beaches in a skimpy black bikini

Jake's penis is all good now - we just need to make sure when he is playing with it he is gentle and also we've been putting sudocream on the end to make sure it doesn't get all red and dry again. Poor wee man!

Thanks guys. Mummy and daddy got a new camera for xmas

SO hot today. Little portable air con is struggling. Luckily its just me at home and I dont have to run after Ella.

Yeah Vicky how was your dinner?

Nelly - tried wearing something to cover the belly but it just annoyed the cr@p out of me so i walked around proudly in my black bikini. Ah who cares. I wouldnt do it now though i'm huge and would probably scare most people on the beach.

Ann, i think you look beautiful in your bikini. that ladybird cake for Ella's 2nd b'day is amazing! did you make that? how do you get red icing?

So many classic pics of Ella, what fun you must have taking her photos.

i'm still real estate hunting for somewhere to move me and bilby. it feels like it's taking forever.

i had an altercation with a knife on saturday night around midnight. Four hours later i get out of hospital with four stitches in my left index fingertip. very ouch. very tricky to change the nappy of a wiggly toddler who doesn't understand why i have a huge bandage on my finger that i am meant to keep dry, clean, not get it banged by flailing limbs of said wiggly toddler.

when i realise she has done "business", she denies it like all heck, i have no clue why. she's not in trouble, but will NOT admit to having done poo in her nappy. The tt-ing is going pretty slow.

i totally get why you would delay Ella's tt-ing when you're heavily preg with twins! i would too. maybe i'm trying bilby too early, i dunno. she's so late with everything else, i was hoping this might be ONE thing, she could "catch up" with.

Christy - how is the visit (your mum) going? i can only imagine you are EXHAUSTED!

Kim - how are you feeling?

Gigi, we aren't even near TT Jovie atm. She screams when she gets near the toilet, so I will wait another month and try again. Matilda TT wee's only at 3 (which I know is late) and poo's a few months after. Her sensory issues are in hindsight why she didn't TT well, so I'm glad I didn't push it. Jovie said she had to do a wee yesterday when she ripped off her nappy so I brought her to the potty and she screamed no and then I put her on the toilet and she screamed no, so I put the nappy back on and she wee'd.... so I reckon it will take a while longer.

I don't know if you read the post in the nappy section but I had a similar incident on Christmas Eve. I wound up getting it fixed up at work, the specialist surgeon (vet) wanted to put some stitches in but i convinced him to use tissue glue. I still don't have any feeling in one part of my thumb though.

oh dear - cut fingers every where!

Gigi - don't stress about the TT - it will come. Do they put bilby on the toilet, potty at daycare. At aston's daycare they do, and I know he has success when he comes home with lots of stamps on his arm lol. in the catalogue I sent you (did you get it?) there is a potty book for girls. in it there is a star sticker chart, and obviously a story all about using the potty. I have been reading that to aston, and using the sticker chart. some days he is keen as to use the potty, and wants to wear undies. other days - a very clear and decisive NO is uttered for undies. Just relax hun.

I have put photos on Facebook of Laura's birthday dinner. It was wonderful. and you can clearly see from the photos what a wonderful time she had. for all of you that have daughters, I really can't recommend enough getting the book Celebrating Girls: Nurturing and Empowering Our Daughters: Virginia Beane Rutter It is brilliant, and a wonderful source of inspiration for anyone who wants to mother their daughters differently to how they were mothered themselves.
