    Hi Everyone

Zander has been a nightmare every morning..he wont his breakfast and throws a massive tantrum. I made the mistake a few times during the day bribing him with chocolate or cookies so now thats all he wants... Wyatt copies his behaviour and has taken to randomly biting Zander. Wyatt is also waking again throughout the night and I am literally a walking zombie and trying to keep control of my emotions..but everyday something makes me cry...whether its a puppy on tv or something on Dr Phil!!!

I had my nuchal scan last week and things seem fine..6wks till my morphology scan.

I paid for platinum membership over 2 weeks ago but nothing has happened yet and no-one has replied to any emails so I really dont know whats going on

Hope all the babies are well and mums are trying to get rest and hopefully have someone to help out.

Anyway we are hoping that Cyclone Hamish stays clear of us this weekend

    Bye for now

What happened Kim? Did you have an earthquake?

Nicole I'll check up on that membership thingo for you.

Ann Maybe next Wednesday I can come over and take some girls for a walk? Or something so you can rest for 40 minutes? I don't have children next Wednesday.... let me know hun, you need a break sometimes and I can do something simple like taking the girls for a walk so you can have some time off and then share a coffee together.

Wedding is tomorrow and of all things, my back broke out in pimples today!!! Now I'll have to get DH to put concealer on my back stupid antibiotics.

i am feeling pretty trapped Taralee

still need to go, don't qualify for bond help while i'm still living with dh, cna't move until i have bond, so it's a catch 22. i think about leaving all the time, nothing is improving, still need to go. so we're in limbo, haven't told dh, feel i shouldn't UNTIL i have somewhere to go. rents are high, but i just can't stay here, it's no good for bilby on so many levels.

Christy, sorry to hear your holiday is not turning out well, flying obv doesn't agree with your body.

Kim - bushfires, now earthquake? it's all go in Vic.

Nicola - hugs, you've had a rough day.

Ann - what is it like bf-ing two bubs? wish i lived closer to come and help you.

gigi are you going to benefit much from the latest stimulus package rounds of payments to help with your bond? Some charities - eg Salvation Army (I think) may help with temp accomodation too if there has to be an interim for oyu to get the bond loan.

Ann you are doing so well! Your girls are beautiful and Ella must feel confident that she is loved which is why she is coping with the lack of attention!

I miss you Christy can you can and visit me too????? You too V feel like we never see eachother now that both of our schedules have switched over! Looking forward to Friday - we can even pop to Lind's for a swim it may not be as far for Gill to drive?

Tara we have had a few nap free days too that have driven me brainless, but Jake has also been mixing them with 2hr day sleeps and sleeping in until 7am - which hasn't happened FOREVER!!!!

Wow Kim it's nver boring where you live!

We are car shopping today .... will either be a lovely day or will eand with me cranky and tired, Jake cranky and tired an Darren irritated by the two cranky pants lol!

Oh Gigi, i wish there was something i could do.nelly's suggestion is a good one - about the salvation army..you might even just be able to get some ideas on what to do. i'm sure there are a lot of women who need to get out of relationships but dont have the money..and especially with children involved...you'd think there'd be some sort of assistance.

Kim - wow! sure it was an earthquake...didnt just have curry for dinner did you

Good luck car shopping nelly! i told dh i was well over being a 1 car family and if i didnt have a car i was going to go mental (since he works shift work and i am left for daaaaaaaaaays at home with no transport) so he went out one day and bought me home a car! woot!

christy - if you can get your hands on some chickweed compound - i found that worked great when i broke out from antibiotics on my chest. cleared it up in a matter of hours! Good luck today! hope you can enjoy it

taralee on the car!! That means you can come and meet up when we are organising one closer to yoU!!!!

I know Nelly - it sucks doesnt it. I feel like everything is changing, and I hate it. I miss you so much. That is why I am making friday's my play day. so that I can still feel connected to people that I love and care about. Spoke to Gill, and that sounds like a great idea, going to Linda's. Will call you in the week to finetune the details.

Christy - hope you are feeling better darling soon.

Kim - I had to ring my mum after reading your post!! had to make sure she was ok.

Ann - I agree, Ella is obviously feeling very secure, and that is wonderful.

Gigi- Nelly has a good suggestion there. Have you checked that option out?

Blanche - how are you going??

Nicola - hope you aren't getting blown away! We are expecting the rain from the cyclone - which means if it buckets down, we may get flooded in! so I have sent DH out this morning to top up the supplies.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Thanks for the encouragement ladies. We had a better day today after yesterday's disaster. I had the twins on my own. Ella was in daycare. I often feel out numbered wishing i was an octopus with an extra set of arms. They cried non stop from 9am-12pm. Napped for an hour and cried from 2pm - 4.30pm. I felt like cr@p having to leave one of them to cry while i tried to calm the other one down. I burst into tears when DH came home. Today was SO much better with DH here I even got to spend 1hr taking Ella to the park!

Gigi - Nelly's got some great suggestions. I feel for you hun and for Bilby. Feeding 2 babies at one time is really satisfying actually. I guess I NEVER thought I could do it and here I am feeding away. At times i think "do i look like mummy pig with her 2 little piglets?" Funny what goes through your mind at 3am.

Christy - Come by if you are in town. My sister arrives tomorrow so she'll be my back up for 2 weeks (cant wait). Let me know and I can SMS you my number.

Nicola - how are you going?

Nelly - how are you feeling these days? are you over it yet?

Ella came home singing "yellow submarine" from daycare. She is just amazing and is giving us so much joy at this moment in time.

Ann - when you wrote about "feeling like Mummy Pig" - that made me think of Peppa Pig immed LOL!

that's fantastic your sister is comign to stay for two weeks - great.

how cute - Ella singing Yellow Submarine.

The KRudd stimulus payment - is linked to tax returns. We won't get it as dh hasn't lodged his 07/08 tax return. i am so sick of him telling me it's being done, it's not worth asking anymore. it doens't matter how much grief (debts and missing out on govt things like this) that happen, due to the non-lodgement of his tax returns, NOTHING gets thru to him, how CRUCIAL it is that he does them, and in a timely fashion. Even me saying "you can spend half the refund on whatever you like e.g groovy new gadget - even though i really think the money should be spent much more sensibly - i'm so desperate to motivate him - i offer him this incentive).

i haven't contacted Salvos specifically. i did contact a DV helpline (as some workers i spoke to, said what dh does is a form of financial dv) - the DV helpline said i don't qualify for any help, cos dh doesn't have control over my bank account. that's their criteria.

I saw a Centrelink social worker this week, all her suggestions were things i have already attempted to do, places i have already asked at. Except the suggestion that i go live with a friend, for a short time, then i will qualify for bond assistance. My friend has a nb, a toddler, a tiny house and as the rental market is so difficult, i would be petrified, what if i didn't find somewhere to live (or be accepted by a landlord) for MONTHS. i coudln't guarantee it would only be for two weeks, and i can see she is cramped already, i would feel so rude being in their way. My friend has offered to put her two kids in one room, so me and bilby could have her newborn's room. they would have to turn their home upside down to accomodate us - it's so lovely of her to offer and i am incredibly touched, but i dont' think it's do-able.

bilby is very frustrated at her own lack of language, is shrieking at the top of her lungs, having tantrums, and screaming NO at me alot. it's one thing to have that go on in your own place, a very different thign to the thought of that happening in my friend's very small house. i just coudlnt do that to her, her family, (or anyone).

and my friend doesn't have baby gates to block off areas, she has breakable objects down low - i would be so nervous about what bilby might break.

it takes me alot, to work up the energy and courage, to go and tell my story (feels like airing dirty laundry) to a complete stranger in some organisation yet again - usually i just end up walking away in tears, no closer to any solution - but i will put Salvos on my list of places to go spill my guts to, hoping for some miracle.

    Hi

Luckily the cyclone passed us by and we didnt even get much rain!!!

Gigi hopefully the salvos have a solution for you..I know they help alot of people so its worth a shot. Also have you tried the local womens refuge?? they help women in all sorts of predicaments not just violent situations and they may be able to point you in the right direction, they would be totally understanding (as opposed to a random centrelink employee)

We had some things stolen from outside our house last night including some of the boys ride-on toys....bad karma to the people who did it. We never had anything stolen in Brisbane and we move to Townsville and have been ripped off twice in two months and two different suburbs. We are moving back to Brisbane this year sometime.

    Bye for now

Nicola - the cyclone is now on the northern end of frazer - apparently. very windy and wet. When you move back down to brissie we will have together all the southern qld girls (yes taralee you too!!! now that you are with vehicle!)

my brain is on absolute overdrive. I had my first prac day at school yesterday afternoon, and again this morning (its split over two days). then I had to go out in the evening. As I was getting ready to leave aston threw his arms around my legs and was not very happy - which in turn meant I wasn't either... I am missing him terribly. So looking forward to friday when we can have the whole day together. I just sat down at the computer with him and did some Thomas tank stuff. My big kids are feeling it too... so used to having mummy readily available. sigh.
Richad has hurt his back - badly. went to the physio and doctor yesterday and has to have the week off. I don't know what is going to happen as far as work. he did it at work, and realistically it was over compensation for his shoulder.... sigh. I wish he would just realise that he can not do the things physically that he used to be able to do before he hurt his shoulder - but that's like talking to a brick wall - men and their friggin egos.

taralee - I dont know if I have you on my facebook - can you friend me please?
