Tan - im am ALWAYs here if u need to talk. JUst take it one day at a time hun.. mwah xoxoxo
Hippie - If money goes in our favour we will be moving Feb/March. Why? Coz we can. lol the way i see it, if i dont get out of this town (been here for 16 years) i will be stcuk here when Mia starts school and things. So i need to get out and see a little i think.
Mia is off to have her needles today... she will prob be fine, its me that will be a mess.
Hollye-Good on you! What a nice change. I would love just to pack up and move! I think I would head towards Far North QLD. I would miss the family to much though!!
Sneaky - where abouts in Brissy are u? i may of already asked u this and if i have than im sorry - my memory not too good lately! hehehe
Hollye - do i know where about yet?
Tan - i will find ur post and read it - but i hope u are feeling a bit better! we are all here for u!
Well i had a s**t night with Bianca last night, and just when i though i was over getting upset i had to go outside for 10mins and have my own little cry! i was really starting to get a bit cranky with her also! Typical tho isnt it - just when u think things are settling down, they arnt! i just wish i didnt have to get upset with her - but it breaks my heart seeing her cry!
morning girls,
How are you all today? I am good except that I want to cut off my nipples they are so #@*$!# sore. I think i'll have to express again for a couple of days to see if they improve. I honestly never though BF would be so hard after 2 mths, argggggggg!!! Other then that we are great with Olive sleeping 9 and 8 hrs the last 2 nights.
How are your babies at putting themselves to sleep? Olive was good but now either wants to be fed or rocked/shushed to sleep which is getting a bit frustrating. I'm not into controlled crying so i'm not sure how I can change this behaviour. I'm also trying to get her out of the bassinette and into the cot. She will sleep in the cot of a day but not at night. Olive is almost 6kgs so is rapidly running out of room but i'll miss her in my room. Has everyone else done the transition to the cot or are some still in bassinette's? Do you have monitors if the cot is in another room?
Morning Olive'smummy - we had Bianca in her cot from Day 1 - i just knew it would be too hard to change her over! i started of with a monitor for a couple of days than it went off and has been off ever since!
Bianca usually self settles also - but for some reason last night we ended up having to rock her too sleep after a big long screaming session - she was like that for her afternoon nap also - maybe its just another one of their stages that they go thru!
Tan - i read ur other post - certainly sounds like u are going thru a rough patch - but just remember thats all it is - and before u know it it will be over!
u are doing a GREAT job! Both your little ones are happy and thriving - so DONT ever think ur failing at anything! I cant imagine how hard it is for u! and here i am thinking its hard with 1!!!!
I think putting Izzy in childcare for a day or 2 will be good for her and for u! she needs the interaction with some children her age - hence why she is prob getting up to mischief and u need the time alone with James! It will also be good for u too relax and or get stuff done while he is sleeping or having his belly time!
Also Tan - everyone keeps telling me if some one offers help than i should take it - well u should definatly take the help from u mum - she and Izzy will both love spending the night together! sounds like u got a great mum!
Never forget Tan that u are a fantastic mother!!!!!!
hmmmm suppose calamvale is okay!!! would be nicer if u moved closer!!!!!
and sorry i can't take Mia for her needles - i would cry too much - i hate needles - im not taking B for her's, Kev is!!!
hj - im in ferny grove
hollye - dont go southside! Lol nah thats ok
olivesmum - dd#2 is still in her basinette too - what we did with dd#1 is we put her in the basinette IN the cot for a while to transition and it was no drama. will do the same this time! dont worry about the self settling yet - they are still so young, plenty of time to learn
p.s - tan we'll have you up here too! we r friendly and the weather is lovely
