Hi all,
wow it's been ages since I've been in I am not finding a whole lot of time for me at the moment between trying to get things tidied up and ready for christmas and making presents with Paige and Angus.
Well we are nearly there and we are almost ready after a big day tomorrow of planned biscuit baking and decorating.
DH put my pressie under the tree tonight and he has gone out it is taking all of my will power to not go and 'check it out' but I am trying to be good....:doh:I can't help myself
I have been trying to get DH to open 'just one' present since he got home yesterday, I got us both a coffee mug with our recent family photo on it and I also got a stubby holder done as well for Angus to give daddy:dance:,
I am soooo excited about christmas this year I think it helps to have a 2 and a half year old with her first official case of christmas fever,
we went to carols last night and she is so super hyped about the whole christmas thing....it is just the best!!!!
Angus was weighed on Thursday and is now a whopping 12lbs 2ozs (5.51kg) it is good to know he is getting plenty of the good stuff.
Well due to the hectic nature of the next few days I will wish you all the most merry of christmas's with your new additions and will pop in to see how everbody spent their christmas in about a weeks time
love to all and stay safe, Allie and family xxxxx

Feeling very relaxed today. Had my hair appointment this arvo and now I look so puuurdy!! :pigtail: I love my hairdresser. :)
And DH has been looking after Liam most of the day so it's been really laid back for me. Yay DH!!!
O, we had a Skype phonecall with DHs mum & sisters yesterday. They haven't been able to see Liam in person yet and loved seeing him live and moving. Having just been fed and well rested, DS was ready to play and everyone was in stitches as he giggled and laughed with DH as usual, which led to them laughing outrageously, which led to us laughing, which led to DS laughing even more. Priceless!
Anyway, that's all for now. Hope you've all had a great day.

Hollye - Bummer about the MCHN appointment hun - I had Isabelle's on Friday but she was at mums and I forgot all about it! Hooray for the cot too!
1stbub - Don't you love Skype! DH's brother and SIL live in Canada and we Skype them most weekends with the webcam so they can see the kids! It's great! We will set it up on the plasma on Christmas Day and they can feel like they are here too! :)
Blizz - Sounds like you are all doing well!! I think I am still officially more excited than Isabelle but maybe next year!
I should try flats too with some covers by the sound of it! All my flats are a bit worn because I use them on the change table and have had them since Izzy was born! Will see how we go but I seriously think I might go broke with all the nappies out there -they are just too cute!
SOO busy around here too - sorry about the terrible personals. In between cleaning for Xmas day, doing stuff for our new business, shopping and looking after 2 little ones I barely have time to scratch myself! Thank goodness Izzy has decided that after 7 is a good time to get up instead of 6am! :o It was doing my head in - that little bit of extra sleep really makes a difference! Of course today James was up at 615 - had a feed, back to be then she was up 20 mins later! Ok off to start crossing things off my list! Have a wonderful Christmas Eve Eve!! ;)
-
oh man.. DP has his head over the toilet right now... just called in sick for him at work and have to take him to the doc at 11am... oh joy.. and get some glen20 while im out!
-
Haha! DH is sleeping after worshipping the ceramic bowl from both ends all night last night. (I know! TMI again!! :)). Never knew these things could spread through the internet - ohhhhhhh! That's what they mean by internet viruses! Pretty messy. Thank God for pine-o-clean! Glad we're having such a quiet chrissy this year coz all that cleaning on top of looking after bub and getting ready for Chrissy would be too much on this little sleep.
Hope DP is feeling better soon Hollye.

Hi all!
Hollye & Istbub- Hope the hubbies get better asap! Can't be sick for Christmas!!
Tan- I would give flats a go, they aren't that hard but the trick I found to make them better is getting some mircofleece from Spotlight (has to be micro not just polar fleece) and just cutting them up (no need to sew the edges) and using them as liners, keeps bub feeling dry.
I've already forgotten the rest of the personals! Sorry to everyone else I've missed! My brain is worse than it was when I was pregnant!
We are having a lazy day today, ahead of all the Christmas madness!! DH has his work break up today and he said he'll be home about 4pm...yeah right!! I can see myself having to go pick him up at midnight!
We are off to the in-laws tomorrow (what joy! :wall:)
HJ did you find an illness that you came down with? Can I borrow it!! But I have already told DH we aren't staying late!
Well I'm off to do Christmas cards....yes I STILL haven't done them! oh well!
Have a good day!

Morning All!
Well Bianca is back to waking up twice during the night - thank god dh is on holidays (again) and he is getting up too her! Its funny how just when u think u are in a routine they go and change it on u! cheeky little devils they are!
Hollye - is Mia really only having 4 drinks in a 24hr period? Bianca is still on 5-6! i wish it was only 4 - thank god im not BFing thats all i can say!
How is DP - is he feeling any better? nothing worse than a sick male! they are such sooks!
Hippie - nope sorry - a mystery illness did not come my way - i even tried telling him we weren't going to stay for too long but that didnt work either!
Sometimes i feel a bit cruel when i make comments like that - since he never complains about going to my parents, mind u my parents are soooo much more nicer and laid back - i still call his parents MR and MRS - they have never corrected me on it either! and we have been together for 7yrs! thats how much of a stiff they are! and i still have to wait to be offered a drink - wheres DH just raids my parents cupboards and fridge etc and calls my mum, mum - however my dad is called by his first name!
So good luck with ur Inlaws - are they are bad as mine?
1stBub27 - "internet virus" how funny are u!!!! thats a good one!
Hope ur DH is feeling better too! mines gone out to buy me more alcohol - hehehehe
Tan - i reakon flats are the way to go - they are cheeper and dry quicker, and are still cloth and not dispoables - they other ones are cute - but....... i still like flats! hehehe
How is the buisness going? Its good that Izzy is sleeping in a little longer!
Wait a few more years and she will never want too get out of bed!
Blizz - sounds like u are having a great time - if i was u i would check that pressie out under the tree - go on give it a little shake! hehehehe
-
yeh HJ - Mia's norm is bottles at 6am, 11am, 2pm ( in between here, depending on how much she sleeps is when the extra one goes in) 8-9pm.
Dp went to the docs this morning. SOme virus that affects his respitory something and puts pressure on his stomach?!?! i dunno.. lol.. some virus. So lotsa rest.. water.. panadol and vit c for him today.
gotta put mia to bed.. back later xoixoxxixixix
-
Hmmm Little Miss Bianca is still on 3hrly feeds!!!
Has anyone else tried their bub on water?
-
HJ - lucky you not BFing, you can have alcohol!! What I'd give today....!
Is anyone just using sposies? I'm surprised at the number using cloth. I always thought flats would be too much work but with the PUL covers & Little Squirt I think i could probably do them. I do love the fact my fitteds are gathered at the leg and back for more protection tho. Who needs to clean up more yucky bodily stuff. :wall:
Well i'm off to have coffee with a friend from work. Last time she just talked about work flat out and barely stopped to ask about me, bub, or our new life. I undersand and don't really mind too much, I'm just sooo tired and im hoping it wont feel like a chore. I'd planned to go to yoga tonight for 1st time. Not sure if I'll make it and not sure if i should anyway given my tummy (which is heaps better now). couldn't make an appoint with the Dr, yesterday was his last day and the docs still around were fully booked.
Take care everyone.

HJ - James is still 3 hourly and sometimes more like 2 hourly during the day! He sleeps overnight though so I guess he is catching up during the day. He will feed roughly at 7, 10, 1, 4, then 6 and again at 730 then down for the night and is fully b'fed so that might make a difference. I won't be introducing water until solids at 6 mths, same as I did for Izzy but I think with hot weather and if you are FF'ing then some people do? I add extra small breastfeeds in if I think he might be thirsty on a really hot day. Not sure if you can do that with formula. Business is going well - we are busy but take it over officially on the 1st Jan. In the meantime we are sourcing new supppliers, setting up our MYOB stuff and data bases etc!!!! Great time to buy a business! ;)
-
Mia downs about 200mls of water throughout the day.. especially on a hot day.
-
1stBub27 - yep i guess there are some good things about not bfing!
i got tipsy for the 1st time in AGES on friday night - thank goodness we only had to travel from next door - and i tell u what it felt sooooo good! But having Bianca kept me on the straight and narrow and knew when to stop! Party pooper that she is hahahaha
Have fun going out with coffee - and as for yoga - pft put it off until next year - hehehe! well at least until ur belly is better!
-
Wow Hollye - that seems like alot of water for a wee one!!! I guess because I'm breastfeeding I do things differently and offer more boob but I thought you would just offer more milk!
-
1stbub - I have 2 full time in sposies and with overflowing bins and guilt that's why I'm trying MCN. I think if I do it I will go with fitteds and AIOs full time though. I have no idea how to fold a flat and won't get DH doing that either!!
-
Tan - B usually sleeps over night also so i guess that might be why she drinks alot during the day!
Is there any reason why u are not going to try James on water until 6mths?
we have tried B on it but she dosent seem to thrilled with it!
we also tried getting B down for the night at 1930 but didnt work - she was down at 2200 which is around her normal time - i wish she would go down earlier just so DH and i could have some alone time, like the good old days - but they are well and truely a thing of the past!
What a way to start the new year - officially taking over ur own buisness - thats gotta be exciting yet scary at the same time - have u done any thing like it before?
-
ive just taught DH how to fold nappies now he does a better job than me!
Talking about DH - he has decided he is going to self teach how to play the guitar! so he has borrowed my brothers and he is out in the lounge room making a racket - Bianca is already not a fan! i think we should all make a bet on how long until the novelty wears off!
