Mia is 2 months today! woot woot!

Yeh i think she might be going through a growth spurt coz her sleeping is still crappy....... does this happen when they are going through a growth spurt??

True true. And that it will cost around $3000 per child for sposies compared to $x for cloth (cost us around $650 for the whole set up) and they can be used for the 2nd 3rd...? child as well. I have to admit the Little Squirt sounds good in theory but isn't always the most hygenic. It takes a bit of practice to be able to squirt poo off a nappy in such a confined space (i.e. the toilet bowl) and not have it splash up a little. :tmi: The WATER that is. Of course none of the poo would come up.... *convinces herself that's true*

Sorry to hear about DPs nanna Starsky. :hug: It's such a shame she only got to see Jacob once, but good that she did get to see him. Did you happen to get photos of them together?

Happy 2 month birthday for Mia!! I think their sleep is effected by growth spurts.

Speaking of sleep, now its a bit cooler we can keep the curtain over the window (instead of having it up to let breeze in), so Liam's waking up around 6/6.30am instead of 5am when the sun comes up, and I get to sleep in a little!!!!! :dance:

Hello Everyone!

We had a big day yesterday at the Inlaws (thrills) we had chrissy lunch with them early cause it was the only time we could all get together!

Am i the only one using the good old fashioned cloth nappy's? this is our 2nd wk on them now and im acutally loving it! we had too wait awhile for Bianca to be able to fit into them - they still look big on her! Heaps of washing to do but i love looking at the clothes line and seeing all these white nappy's hanging up! weird i know! hahaha

All the chrissy shopping done? not long too go now till the big man visits!

HJ-We are using flats as well, coloured ones though :rolleyes: what covers are you using? How do you go over night? I'm still using sposies at night (can't be bothered with a wet bed at 3am!)

Also we are using sposies of a night time too and when we go out!

And i have a question - Bianca is going to be a week and a bit late for her 2mth needles does that really matter?

We are using PUL covers and fleece covers, both work well, I think I like the fleece covers better (just seems more comfy) so I might get some more.

We are going to be late with needles too, I'm pretty sure it will be ok.

what are pul covers?

They are just a waterproof cover that breathes, basically is doesn't create an oven!! There are heaps of different ones, just have a look at any nappy website.

where do u get urs from?
they sound good! much better than the plastic ones!

The Nurture Nappies website, I've got the Tots Bots but there are heaps of different ones! Careful you'll get addicted! :D

Yep! I also use them when we are out as well (wasn't at the start) and have had no leaks! :dance: But still not overnight.

I would like to do full-time MCN but its just too much money for us right now and I think his bum looks beautiful in a terry and they dry WAY quicker!

Mia has been asleep in her COT (u would all know my previous troubles with even getting her to stay in there for 2 minutes without screaming the house down) for 1.5 hours!!!! yay me!! or yay the glowing seahorse that plays music and water sounds and put her to sleep!
