HJ - Lara was doing that a couple of wks ago and it was driving me nuts!!! She only did it for a few nights then settled back into her normal routine, hopefully B will do the same thing for you. Its frustrating, especially when you're used to getting a good night sleep again.
hj - Olive also woke for about 4 nights about a month ago but is back to normal now. Apparently it is a 4mth phase, some get out of it quickly while others take a few months. Is she feeding well through the day? Apparently that can muck things about.
hollye - Well done with the weight loss. Hope you are feeling good about yourself.
Leigh - After we have our second bub DH will probably get the snip so we won't have to worry about contraception, well if we have a boy that is. The pill makes me fat and hormonal and I hate the way it makes me feel. Your DH isn't keen on that idea?
I've got mothers group today, then i've got to come home & do some serious housework, fun, fun....not. Some days it's just impossible to get anything done.
Went to clinic yesterday, Olive is now 8.525kgs, 66.4cms long and I can't remember HC but she is thriving and learning new stuff everyday.
Bianca is STILLLLLLLL not sleeping been about a week now!!! im sooooo tired!
Oh well just part of the many joys of motherhood i guess!
No way are we having number 2 any time soon - im too tired to even think about DTD hahaha
Mia - hello bubba girl how are u? are u playing up like Bianca is and giving ur mummy a hard time? i hope so
Olive - wow u certainly are thriving - your mummy is doing a fantastic job feeding you!!!
Lara - ur such a good girl for only interrupting mummy's sleep for a couple of nights! are u feeling better or are u still sick? Bianca has her needles on friday too so your not alone - be brave for mummy!
Liam - were u brave thru ur 1st cyclone - did it hit very bad or was it just very windy and wet? did u take good care of mummy thru it?
Julian - hows the rolling over going? sorry to hear about ur familys poor putty tat! that is very sad - not nice too lose a pet!
V and Jorda and Meara - you are all very quiet - i hope all is well
Just thought that i would leave a msg to all the adorable bubs this morning
HJ - that's very cute leaving msgs for the bubs. I'm not nearly organised enough to remember everyone's bubs names atm.
OM - how similar we are! I went to clinic yesterday too. And have MG this morning. And am ridiculously busy right now but am finding it near impossible to get a lot done! It's driving me crazy!!!!!!
Anyway, clinic, Liam is about 6.4kg (1st time weighed w/out clothes lately), 62.5kg length (or 82.5? I don't think so. hard to read), HC 42cm. Healthy and well. has a slight 'cast eye' though - where one is pointed in a slightly different angle to the other. It's hard to see though. Anyway, she said they wait until 12 months to do anything coz they often fix themselves. After i got home she called me up and said actually, he's moved backwards in his percentyle since the last time they weighed him there (7 weeks) and said i need to make sure he's fed up lots so he doesn't go backwards further. She said it was just by about 1%. She said i should feed him 6 times a day!! The formula says 4-5 times at this age and I've only been feeding him 4 coz that's all he has. He has plenty during those times. I can't even imagine squeezing in 6! ???!!! Surely i should just make sure he's having plenty at each feed, not be shy about giving him the full 150ml top-up, and bump up his solids???? What does everyone think? How often do you feed?
We're having a tuppaware party at MG today. I can't afford anything and would buy it from my sister anyway. HOpefully i can avoid temptation - i usually get sucked into buying something! Then i have my hair appoint afterwards. My nanna's on hols so can't babysit so i'll be taking Liam in with me and am a bit nervous about it. He's always really good but might be too tired by then already...
After that i have to move my butt and finish my mum's photo book so it gets to her not-too-far-after-her-birthday. And try to get a secret one done for DH's birthday (he's quite a good amature photographer so i want to get all his nature/wildlife ones into a book for him).
As for housework or getting my sisters baby shower organised.....!!!!!!
Oh, on the cyclone, it was a bit of an anticlimax in the end. Just reeeally windy, grey and cloudy. But that's good!! Don't know if they even evacuated the low lying areas like they thought they still might have to. Thankfully it stayed out off the coast and is now slowing down and dissapearing.
Oh, Hollye - I lost .5kg last week. Slowly but surely....
