Stevie, huge hugs hun.. I'm not going to say anything except for - wait for it - I know how you feel.. DH last night AGAIN used the excuse of 'but I have to go to work' and all I said was 'Ah yeah, keep using that excuse'
I honestly sometimes want to just shove a sock down his throat (or worse) and give him a kick up the butt and say 'If your not gonna help out, just leave us alone'

Amber - Of course your welcome - Adding William to the list.. William Robert, born 21st Oct @ 6:56am

Will be back later - spending the day with MIL - looking forward to it too, especially with how down I've been feeling

Oh Stevie I don't think anyone can prepare you for having a baby. Not only is it a huge shock to your system but it also puts HEAPS of strain on your relationships. Raising a baby on your own is really hard work and it sounds like that is pretty much what you are doing with your DH away so often. I'm not at all surprised that you guys are having a few issues but try not to let them get you down or become too destructive. You both really need each other right now and Alissa needs you too so try to hang in there and be patient with each other. It's normal for things to be a bit crazy right now but I'm sure they will settle down soon.

Rach & Tammie thanks heaps for your advice, I just went out and got myself an Angelcare monitor!! Now we can all sleep a little more soundly.

Ok girls I have some super exciting news to share with you.... I have just handed in my last every uni assessment item!! I've been studying for my business degree part time while working full time for the past 4 years - squeezing in summer school subjects to try and get things out of the way as quickly as possible. It has been a long hard slog but now I can relax! I know I have already passed the subject so anything I get for this last assessment is pretty much just bonus marks So I now have a bachelor of business degree with a double major in management and IR/HR . Yay me!! Sorry - just so excited for myself. If any of you had tried to balance full time work with study you'll understand exactly where I'm coming from.

I'm exhausted now - time to have a rest while Leila is sleeping

fi congrats on the degree so exciting

Rach you poor thing i had bad fluid in my feet when i was pregnant.. it suced big time

Thanks for the hugs for before ladies its good to have somewhere i can go and vent and not be judged or have DH be judged coz its not easy.
But tonight he called me and told me that he called a helpline (i was shocked too) just because he can see what his actions are doing to me and he wants to fix it for me but mainly for Alissa. I just love my DH so much, it makes it so hard when he's always in a bad mood, and when he's so controlling over money, Im not even allowed to see my own Mum but seriously the Mum thing is another issue altogether.
    Goodnight my ladies
    kisses to bubs xxx
