TERU Sorry I can't give you any advice. I just wouldn't know what to do.

Ok. So it's been 2 nights now that Byron has woken up for a feed. Last night, or this morning should I say, he woke up at 3.30am. Whats doin??? Then about every 30mins from there till 7.30am. I took him in bed with me from 5am & just patted him every time he woke up. He slept really well during the day yesterday. He didn't have any long awake time like he usually does but he fed really well too. 6 feeds in 24 hours. I hope it's just a phase. I know SAMI & AMANDA have just gone through it. Fingers crossed he'll be back to sleeping through in a couple of days.

I'm still resting up my leg so doing nothing today. Not even cleaning! DH has gone back to work today so i'm on my own again. He's been great, cooking & cleaning, looking after Byron while I rest this leg. But the problem was he always rocked Byron to sleep, no matter what I said. So today it's lots of crying to get him back into his routine, while DH isn't here cause always tells me to pick him up

he will sleep through again. Mia goes through fases... the longest one lasted a week where she was sleeping for a max of 2 hours o/n. not fun. But it does get better... we had a late night last night so she slept in the car and we got home about 12:30am and she was asleep by 1am and is still asleep now.. thought she would have been starving by now.. oh well, she will let me know.

teruteru - what do his "episodes" involve? yelling...screaming..punching walls...or like sitting by himself?

2 more sleeps till Mia's appointment!! yay!

hrmmmm sounds like depression big time.... will he go see anyone? if not can you get him to talk to a close friend? Mayb try and get him into a hobbie.. even if its pool or drinks with friends so h can get abit of a release from home time? i know its hard hunny, but everytime he is hving a moment just think "its ok, tomorrow is another day.. its just for today" I do that with Mia.. i take deep breaths and i say to myself "its ok, she wont scream forever". HTH Hugs

Mia is no better.. 60-80mls throwing up heaps.... i hope i get some answers on Tuesday!

Teru - what does he say or do when you suggest help? Does he recognise he has a problem? Perhaps organise some individual counselling for you and they can give you some strategies to use to help him? *hugs* honey! we are here for you.

Hollye- pooh on the vomits. Ethan has been realitively Spew=free today which has been nice. I have stretched his feeds out (no less than 2.5 hrs between), and fed (BF) with him sitting upright and then having him in that same position for at least 20 minutes before moving him. And so far that is working for us

Girls - Ethan has been waking through the night again too. They change their routine all the time. in 3 months they will get teeth and be up all night again and this is go on for up to a year of uncertainity in routines until all teeth are through too. yay huh lol.

Ethan woke at 230am and did the biggest poo ever lol. He is in sposies overnight now so it doesnt matter too much - too hard to do cloth. Then i got him down on HIS BACK WRAPPED!!! from 3.30-6am woohoo... i was very proud he lasted that long on his back. He woke at 6am as DD woke then.

DD has been in her big bed for 2 nights now. We leave the door ajar so she can climb off and come to us in the morning , i think it helped her transition a lot better. When Ethan is big enough he will have his cot transfer to a toddler bed so wont be just a big transition like DD had from portacot to a trundle bed

OTherwise we have had a nice day. I bake raspberry and banana muffins and DH and I have been watchng movies while the kids slept and had a good 2 hrs to connect as people again (never seem to find the time!!).

Thinking of trying a baby bjorn for Ethan.. i have a babyrock sling but i find it hard to juggle him in it with holding ashley. as he is often to one side. SO i was going to see if i can ebay a cheap front carrier to try..... then sell my babyrock sling.

Decided i am going shopping tomorrow, look for new shoes, handbag and go to the target baby sale to get huggies

What wipes do people use for their babyes bums? I only use them on dirty bums otherwise i use water and a cloth to wipe over wee bums but might see if there is a gentle wipe out there?
Ashleys Nappy rash since going to sposies part time is shocking. poor thing. i hope she toliet trains soon in the mean time i let her run around naked as much as i can

    PP
we were using the Huggies shae butter wipes BUT Jack got BAD NR from them (they smell gorgeous!!) so now we are using Huggies sensitive wipes.
We went out shopping today (DH/Jack & myself) to buy clothes for Jack's Baptism...i got a pair of lovely 3/4 pants (blk) and an aqua/blue coloured top, DH got a pair of pants and 2 shirts. Jack fed as soon as we got to the shops..layed around for abit then got grizzly and went off to sleep in a flash..and slept for the next 2hrs

KATONES. I'm planning to baptise BJ catholic too. But I want to do it in Sydney as most of our family are there, plus I want to have it in the Chapel I was christened in, but just haven't pulled my finger out to make the enquiries. Naughty mummy!

PP. Yay for less spew! I always give BJ 20mins in his rocker (locked, not rocking) after every feed. Glad he slept well too. I'm guessing Target have huggies on sale? I need some

HOLLYE. Only 1 more day to see the Paed. I hope you get all your answers tomorrow "hugs"

TERU. I think PP has a good idea there. Get some councelling yourself. That would have to help immensely, I'd imagine.

Well great news. BJ (my new abbreviation for Byron John) slept from 8.30pm to 6.15am without a peep. It was a bit cooler here last night so I dressed him in long arm, long leg jarmies & a thick wrap. I think maybe he was cold the other nights. Hmmmm, who knows.

My sister & her girls have been up since new years day but are going back to Sydney tomorrow.... Boo. We are going to Sydney in Feb so not too long to wait.

Just gonna try to do some cleaning today. I don't know how my leg will hold up as it seemed to be bleeding again last night. Just a little. Maybe I should take just one more day off!
