I am used to DD(she ws 6 months before she was 6.5kg lol).

Ive bought some target dribots wipes to try. THey were on sale $12.99 for 480! so thought i would see what they were like. i mean they are proba ll the same lol.

DS is still asleep!!!! omg. I have to get DD from FDC now and he went to bed at 1230!

teru - I'm trying to decide whether to go to the UK with Maya in June. But I'm scared of taking her on planes when she cries in the car! I look forward to hearing about your travel experience afterwards.

PP - Woohoo on Ethan sleeping all night on his back.

Georgi - I hope you decided to rest today!

I went to mother's group this afternoon and it's the first time in a while that Maya didn't spend the whole time crying cos of the strange environment and strangers.

I've been thinking about getting some cloth nappies to try and was wondering who in here is using cloth nappies and which ones do you use?

    It's so hot today!

Arrrrgh. BJ woke for a feed at 1.30am, I went back to bed at 2am, didn't get to sleep till 3am then he woke at 3.20am and every half hour thereafter. Man I'm so tired. He hasn't had a night like this since he was a newborn.

We have mothers group today. I haven't been for weeks so I thought I better go. But gosh, I'd love to sleep!

    Random questions: Weird!

Hahah X is doing the same. Every car trip he is obsessed with his feet... just stares & wiggles them... and during feeds, it's his hands (or I should say - his mittens - X doesn't get to have real hands yet lol).

Sorry to hear you guys are short of sleep, I'm crossing fingers for you that tonight will be better. Oh and loving BJ Georgi. That's the only reason Xander is called Xander... so I can say that X marks the spot! (ok so maybe not the only reason )

I can't post on BB at all atm (yes I know that sounds nonsensical in a post)... but on MY PC I can't. So I'm sitting in DH's BIG chair, looking at the BIG desk and the HIGH monitor... I feel like a 5 year old at daddy's desk!!!!

hehe so its not just my weird child that loves to stare at his feet when i put him in his bouncer. He looks at them wide-eyed and giggles when he sees them move. He has a little obsession with playing with his fingers too, thats when he's not too busy suckin on them haha

i just weighed Jack quickly whilst i was out shopping...
in a t-shirt and IB cloth nappy..and he weighs 6.82kgs..hmmmm me thinks he is a BIG bull....
he has a fascination now with pulling his clothes up (tshirt/bib) and sucking them....and when i sit him up on my lap..he stares at his feet..soooo intrigued by them moving...

teru - I live in Brunswick. Where's Ardeer?

hollye - How'd your appointment go today?

I didn't realise that those with cloth nappies would have several different brands. I should probably go read some of the cloth nappy threads to see which brands people prefer. But I'm feeling too lazy!

Yeah Maya has also discovered her feet. They do sometimes entertain her in the car. Also for Christmas we got foot rattles (little socks with rattles sewn on). They are very cute and when they are on her feet she reaches out to them.

Someone at mother's group said yesterday that she was told as soon as her son can put his foot in his mouth is when she should try for her next baby. hehe..

It's currently 40.5 degrees here. I would have loved to go to my mother's air conditioned home again but I'm still too scared to drive there after Maya's hour long screaming episode! So we are holed up at home. She's been quite grumpy today. Then again so am I! I really hate it when the weather is this hot!

tanya- ardeer is sunshine west. this head is driving me mad as well, esp when bf...theres SO many nappy brands, im being overwhelmed by them even now but do pop into the other threads to see what other ppl say...u'll need to see whether u want:
    * something sized or will fit her majority of her nappy life
    * something quick to dry or thats irrelevant
those should start u off in ur nappy hunt...the girls in the cloth nappy thread are very helpful

ETA- omg dragon nearly shatt on me he wanted a feed, but wanted to feed BUTT NAKED so off goes the nappy...1st came a fart, then another so i thought better slide something under. lo & behold out it came...so i took him to the basin & rinsed his butt. while all this was going on, he was happily suckin away!!
