Sami: I forgot to mention that I put a rolled cloth nappy behind him to prop him up on his side so he can sleep like that, and I put another rolled nappy in front of him if I think he'll fall forward. Just put him down for his first nap of the day (as you can see, we do things early in my house)
good idea - not early at all! - Z tends to get up around 6.30 - 7ish and I try to have him back in bed by 8 so he can get 40 mins before school - he is getting used to it though so that is good - but yesterday he was too tired to stay up until 8.40 for school run, so put him to bed at 8.15 - poor darlin!

belfie - enjoy your afternoon gossiping That is gorgeous re MIL/FIL - if he was an unsettled sleeper you might have had more words to say, but u know he will catch up - make sure you write it in his book or whatever you use as a "memory" for him

Katones - yeah I reckon the immi's are worse this time around with the rotavirus too - Zander was unsettled on Wed - up for 30, down for 30 etc - but was much better yesterday and slept alot! Hope Jack finds his rhythym again today

Georgi - is Byron on solids?? Or is your DH just extremely naughty?

SAMI - DH is VERY naughty. He, for some crazy unkown reason, wants to start BJ on solids. I have no idea why but I keep having to tell him that he's not ready for them as he's showing no signs at all. We usually have the orange frosty fruits so I guess that was always disguised in his vomit. But IGA ran out of them ones. I don't think DH will do that again, thankfully

I'm going to do this super fast bullet point style while there is a lull in the chaos that is my life right now.

    * Got house!! Very happpy, nice house, will like being there which is good since we are locked in for 4 years on this low income rent thingy.
*moving NEXT saturday as in a week from tomorrow
    *yes I am freaked
*has to be fast due to a whole heap of crappy factors
*Bethany fine with immunisations, well asides from that face and scream that literally rips your heart apart.
*but she is the evil baby from hell sent to send me insane today.
*however she just put herself to sleep in the rocker and she can stay there. (she is safe!!)
*I need more scans etc re infection
*next appointment not for 3 weeks
*pain killers are not on the food prymid but you would think so at the rate I use them lately
*rang doc to see what power she can wheld
*11:30 and have cried twice, what a day..... (what will be the total by the time DH comes home??)

I'm worshipping at my MIL's feet. She just came around and fed X, emptied & stacked dishwasher & cleaned up kitchen, made my bed, made me lunch!!!! My stomach is upset for goodness knows what reason so I'm feeling like total crap & I think i did too much yesterday cos I'm sooooo sore. I'll just have ta keep waddling....

PP - X is in my former spare room... so now it's the sofa or snoring... wotta choice.

think I want one of the wrap thingoes just cos they've got such a cool name!

I feel sorry for Zander - he gets to do nothing - I have no time just to spend doing things like this - suppose that is what happens after 2 and their commitments as well.

    big hot *sigh*

Yeah - i think once she starts preschool next week I will have a new lease on life - 2 days to myself with Zander alone - whatever will we do lol - i wasn't organised enough to get in early, and now I am thinking about it all - it's too late!

Honestly, i dont believe he will suffer - and i truly believe that you can over-schedule your children - i know he just needs fun times with mummy, and he doesnt care what we do - I'll keep telling myself that anyway - but like Tanya said - sometimes its boring lets face it!! Until they can at least sit and grab stuff for themselves ....

Sick of this flippin heat here - can u tell LOL We are in Canberra for goodness sake - at 16.41pm it was 39.3

Hi all! I was up 3 times last night with Maya. I guess she's making up for the period where she wouldn't eat much! Before I was so worried about her not eating but she was sleeping well. Now she's eating well but not sleeping. I guess I should just be happy with whatever is working at the time!

Happily she was easier to settle last night than the previous night and one time I was even able to put her straight down after a feed and she chatted for a while then went to sleep. She was also easier to settle during the day and had 3 naps of about an hour each.

My FIL came over today with lunch and we had a nice afternoon chatting.

Georgi - Good to hear BJ's back. I think BJs talk with Maya has helped her to start eating more again. Now can you get him to call her and tell her to sleep better again (but to continue with the good eating of course).

PP - I saw the wraps advertised for $24.95 at Toys R Us. But I don't know if that's both sizes or just the small. Oh and I'd never thought to wrap the arms only on a hot day! Maya's always getting out of her muslin wrap cos it's not big enough. I'm so glad you mentioned that you only wrap the arms. I'll have to try that now.

belfie - Maya had an u/s on her hips - can't remember when now.. I think when she was around 8 weeks old?! She had the u/s cos she had been in breech doing the splits! Anyway, her hips are normal. And the actual u/s was pretty quick and I was told the results straight away. I did mention the u/s at the time in passing but it prob wasn't very interesting cos it was normal. When's X's u/s?

kuraiza - Thanks for the settling suggestion. I haven't tried it. I'll have to give it a go. Hopefully I'll do it correctly. And hopefully I'll remember to try it. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with all the things I could try and forget them iykwim. I'm glad it's working for you.

Sami - I feel for you with the heat wave. It's been such a relief to have low 30s here. Though tomorrow is sposed to be 44!!

OK.. that's all I can manage right now. Hi to everyone I've missed!!

Hi all, sorry but I'm not going to do personals, I have read everyone's posts though.

Julian is now holding toys and putting them in his mouth to chew, which is so cute. I'll be going to another BB meetup tomorrow night, without the kids.... so won't know what to do with myself, lol.

Quick question how many sleeps is everyone's bubs having now?

    hugs xoxo
