I hardly ever see the news any more and had no idea there were so many devastating bush fires till now. So sad!

I had a good weekend. Went to a friend's house on Sat to escape the heat. Went in their spa while Maya slept in the air con house. Then when she woke she wouldn't stop screaming. We finally realised she didn't like the chlorine smell! So both DH and I had showers and she was fine after that. I guess we now know she hates bleach, chlorine, disinfectant smells. I was hoping to take her for swim lessons when she's a little older but I don't know if I'll be able to.

On Sunday a friend came round and then afterwards my MIL came over.

Sami - I hope it's cooled down for you.

belfie - I hope X's u/s shows everything is OK!

kuraiza - I tried patting Maya on her side to settle her for bed. But it seemed to get her more upset. I'm prob doing it all wrong though. I've heard AF can come back around 4 months. I'm hoping it stays away for me! How did you go settling Jude back down?

katones - I hope you have success with the wrap. I still need to go buy one. I did bid on one on ebay but someone outbid me!

PP - Looks like E's doing well in growth.

OK.. that's all from me for now. Gotta get ready for mother's group.

kat - mine turned up in mail today - Zander is fast asleep in it - I absolutely love it - thanks PP!

I wish I could do the shakes, but cos still b/f can't - and has been too hot to do any exercise, but hard to get out with all the kids anyway, once G starts preschool that is my goal!

teru - thanks for link - but doesnt actually say how/if it works - has anyone tried the necklaces and had qualitative results - how did you measure the results - how do you know it works?

Tanya - LOL i know we all get self absorbed at times - 110 ppl have died the last I heard- so terribly devasting and sad

kurazia - poor thing with AF - i havent got mine back yet - fingers crossed! Z still fully b/f but I think anyday now .... good on you for getting out with hubby - we never get the chance - who do you use for a babysitter - a friend or something? I think I jus thave too much guilt leaving the poor person with THREE kids LOL

belfie - what does your saying mean to you hmmmm? Just curious ...

So did you buy him something for being so perfect???

Such good news and a relief for you I am sure - won't be the only scare in his life though - wait until the first emergency room visit

wait until the first emergency room visit
lol so true! Hopefully it won't be for aaaages. DH is still kinda smug cos I was actually more nervous on this one than he was... and he's usually the worrier. Hmmmph lol! The radiographer was really nice and after commenting that he's a fatty (in nice terms of course haha) she was quite happy to tell us that both hips looked good. And X just lay on the bench thingo and stared at the screen open-mouthed. He thought it was better than playtime!

I haven't bought him anything for being perfect yet.. but I've been toying for a while with the idea of selling my P&T sports and getting the Vibe instead. I don't like the brake on the Sports.. and I walk a very rambunctious doggy - a handle brake would be much better & easier. So mebbe now I'll do that

Kat & SamiH - I'm with you on the weight! I want to get to my goal weight by Oct so we can TTC (and I can put it back on again ha!)... but like SamiH, can't do somethings while BF... and I'm waiting for healing... then... then... I'm toying with looking at the Weight Watchers thingo for BF'ing. I've never tried something like that before, but I think some support would be good. When I think I used to do triathlons (IN A FRIGGIN' TWO PIECE) & be superfit... aaah those were the days lol

oh and did I mention that when I'm happy I talk more? DH always says the best measure of my happiness is WPM - Words Per Minute. LOL better stop before the verbal diahrroea becomes uncontrollable

Belfie - Excellant news hun, I am so glad all went well with the u/s. hugs

Well went out on Saturday night with the family and some friends. Well I had asked a friend to hold "V" while I made her bottle and he started to play with her. She looked at me as if to say Ohhh mummy why arent you holding me? Then just burst into tears. DH takes her off our friend and she still cried. Once she was back in my arms she just stopped. So cute... They certainly know their mummies.... Anyway yesterday my SIL came over so I passed "V" over to her, well the same thing happened. Her little lip dropped and looked at me so sad, then cried. Poor bubba. Stopped as soon as she was back with me. I think tho when we were out the crowd was a bit much for her.

Anyway for those of you in VIC I hope you are all keeping safe. My thoughts and prayers are with you. hugs

belfie - Great to hear E's hips are OK! Maya was also fascinated by the monitor while they did her u/s.

csab - No one else can hold Maya either. She only wants to be with me or her daddy.

Speaking of weight: Someone at MG today told me that a friend of hers dieted during her pregnancy and after giving birth starved herself to lose weight. But what's even worse is that she had a girl and is obsessed with keeping her baby girl skinny! That made me so mad hearing that! Starving yourself to lose weight is bad.. but how can you starve a baby?? That is cruel! I hope someone does something about it.

Katones, don't think you sneaked that by me....TTC Dec!!! Woohoo way to go for you, Bethany's BF will have a little sis or bro!!

Way to go E on rolling, good chap!!

Even better to hear that Z slept for 3 hours!!

Glad that all is well Belfie great news.

I have been madly getting things done, today was dealing with phone and eletric...they need time to think and process and think some more. Lets hope it is all there on Thurs when we get the keys and go there.
Andrew organised with some of the men from church for the big move stuff, 4 men offered to help so it should definately be over short and sweet.
    Just gotta get packing....

Kisses to all, stay safe Vic ladies, stay cool everyone else!!

PP yay for E rolling, how has he been today after his needles?

Sami yay for Z sleeping so long in his new wrap what a good little boy

Belfie so good to hear that X's hips are all a-ok, you are obviously very happy mummy.

Tanya I can't believe that woman did that to her little girl.

I'm losing weight slowly, I've joined the body transformation on BB and they say that for b/fing mums it's safe to lose up to 500g per week. At first I started not eating enough and my milk went crappy for a day then I just at a bit more and just at healthier and it's been great. I've lost 2.1kg's since the 1st of Jan.

It's been hot here today as well, but not as bad as Vic, I hope that everyone is keeping safe down south.

    hugs xoxo
