Do you mean getting from tummy to a seated position? Zander will sit first - lean forward and kick his leg out so he is nearly on all fours, and then go back to seated again - he is frustrating cos I can see he could move if he really wanted to!:

4 teeth well and truely through walking round holding onto things OMG!!!! where has my little boy gone?? he has only slept 1 1/2 hours today and has just fallen asleep in my arms as i type.... he babbles away to himself or to anyone who will listen...bababa!!! in a quite stern voice...hehehe...
is eating everything given to him....yesturday he ate ravioli (kids one) and loved it...loves fried rice (or any rice for that matter!)
sleeping well...self settling to Jack is a grizzle/cry/tanty for 5/10 mins then he is out to it :) for 12.5hrs!!!!!
Yeah I think that's what belfie was asking. If babies can get themselves into a seated position from lying down. Maya can't yet. She can if she's on a angle or already sitting. But not if she's lying down flat. She needs to at least be on her knees to get into a seating position I think?:

Tanya - Feeling alot better now thanks hunni, still the headaches tho. Still need to go and see the Dr again on Friday for more Bt's. I keep looking at my hands and arms and thinking yep, another bruise would go well there. :wall: I am still in shock that no-one helped you. Simply terrible, what has this world come too. Woohoo Maya rocking on her knees, how cute. V is another bub that hasnt sat on her own, she still needs alittle support as she gets too curious with things and loses balance.
Georgi - Welcome back hun, so happy the baptism went well. SOrry about your phone, I tried to call you today so you should have a missed call with my number and a little message. How is little BJ?
Fluff - V has 4 teeth out too now? 3 of them came out practically all at once. V is loving her food too. hugs Thanks for the list too. I am still not sure if this is my problem yet, I guess I will know next week what this weeks BT results will end up being.
Sami - hahaha, V just wants the packaging from the nappy wipes. hehehe She cries when you take it off her.

Tanya & SamiH - gosh I cant' remember what i meant re sitting lol! That sounds like Z is going really well and Tanya woo hoo on the unpacking that's awesome! Too funny about the dream with me in it heehe... I reckon I'll end up with 2 little boys - might have to get a few more female pets to even things up haha.
Oh and SamiH - that's awesome re the spouted cup! What a relief for you (well not phsyically :p but in other ways :))

fluff-a-holic - omg that's amazing re Jack walking around! And his weight is awesome, I reckon your biceps must be fully toned! I haven't weighed X for a bit, but I suspect he's not quite that much - mebbe just 10kg? I swear I think my arms will fall off some days.
Georgi - that's great that BJ is doing so well with the bottle, teeth on your nipple yoooooowwwch. As for having your body back oooh that would be good. I was going to stop at 9 months but that's this week and I seem to be still going :doh: probably should think about when to stop.. but I'm putting off thinking about it atm. EDIT: i'm just looking at BJ's christening pics and X is next to me giggling away... not sure if that's at you or BJ but he seems very taken!
We're in chaos atm. Just rendered an internal brick wall in the lounge (it was soooo dark - think 70's) - looks awesome now and but now have to get it all painted, so we're all crammed into the rest of the house... just chaos chaos, I figured it was better to do it BEFORE he is crawling/walking (rolling doesn't count right?).
I also have a little boo hoo. Went back to my physio today re prolapse and pelvic floor and it turns out (after MONTHS of working away at the darn thing) that I've got some nerve damage to my pelvic floor muscles - which aint' ideal with prolapse too. So she's recommended that I have a c-section for next PG and wants to let my obs know about her recommendation :(. I'm rather upset about it, cos even tho X's birth wasn't exactly easy, I loved it, and I loved him being put on my chest once he was born... in theatre it just wouldn't be the same (mebbe it's just the devil I know?)... cos after all I had to have the episiotomy repair in Feb which was a PITA. But she reckons I risk too much permanent damage and exacerbation of the problems I already have :(. Hmm so that's my little vent. I'm thinking about getting a second opinion... but ... just a bit arrrgh :wall:.
fluff - Yeah I haven't been able to leave Maya for even a second without tears for months now. Hopefully Jack will only do it today!
csab - Glad to hear you are doing better. I hope they either can find an answer for you or it never happens again.
belfie - I can definitely understand being upset about having to have a c-section. I was devastated when Maya was in breech and wouldn't turn around and I ended up having a c-section. Now it doesn't really matter to me.. but every now and then I do have little pangs of regret that I don't even know what labour feels like. When I say that no one understands and says "oh you want to experience pain?" No I don't want pain but I wanted to experience labour. Anyway, now I keep wondering whether or not I should try VBAC for the next one or go for another c/s. Which is funny cos I don't know why I'm thinking about it now when I have no plans to be pregnant any time soon. :)
Still no teeth here. But after hearing about nipples being bitten I'm glad there's no teeth now. :)
It's funny to hear about all the big bubbas. To me Maya feels heavy now, but you'd all think she was really light! :)
I just spoke to CSAB and Olivia's in hospital again with Bronchitis. Cheryl took her there at 11am and they're gonna keep her in for a few days. They want to either put her on a drip, or put a tube down her throat. Cheryl doesn't know what she should do. She knows Olivia will hate it either way. She has an oxygen mask on atm, to help her breathe as she's having troubles.
Please send healthy vibes their way.

Georgi - Byron knows what is good for him LOL that's why he doesnt wanna give it up! Thats what I think about Zman anyway - and I have decided to just keep going and seeing as he will have the cup occasionally too - meh, whatever. Crappy about night time, but he doesnt really feed at night anymore - not before 4am anyway - and by then I would be up to get a bottle anyway so if I feed him - again - meh - we dont have family here who babysit overnight or anything for us so not a biggie.
Poor Cheryl, she is such a little thing - how scary for all of them - and little O is old enough to protest quite strongly too about a mask and all the lights and bits that go with hospital.
Tell her we are all thinking of O and her family :comfort::(

Wow Belfie that must of been a shock to hear the physio say that, I would defineately get a second opinion, but in the end I suppose you have to do what will be best for your health to, big :hug:.
Tanya Julian is a finger sucker and it is wonderful that they use it to self settle, such a great comforter.

Well Julian has a cold again, runny nose and cough hopefully it won't get worse, he's not sleeping very well and using booby to comfort at night, poor little man.

Tanya & AmandaJ - thanks so much for your support :hug:. Tanya - I remember your research and soul-searching (for lack of a better word) prior to Maya's birth, and I can understand your desire to have experienced labour. In that, I'm lucky that I have been able to. And it does remind me that there are so many other reasons why peope need to have a CS. At least I've got time to look into it and consider the pros & cons. Oh and X is a thumb-sucker at certainly atm I love it, he self-comforts quite happily and I might later think I'm insane, but I think it looks cute.

Jack's 5th tooth is on it's way down....up the top next to his bugs bunny toofies :)
Also he 'grinds' his damn teeth!!!!! that is one thing i absolutly hate!!!! i also did it as a child and so did my older 2!!!!!!
My boy woke this morning at 4.50am..i think he was abit warm...so i took his sleeping bag off and put him back into his cot and off to sleep he went...well i got up at 7.10am got everything ready to leave by 7.45am...come 7.30am Jack was still asleep!!! i had to wake him to get hiom changed for nanas house...i thought to myself..hmmm i wonder how long he would have slept if we were staying home today???
Eating just gets better with this boy....tonight he had beef/vegies/rice ate that...then was sitting in his walker whilst i was eating my dinner (satay beef strips and fried rice) wellll he sat there like a little bird mouth WIDE open waiting for food!!! so i shared my fried rice with him!!!! and when it was all finished he sat there crying!!! real tears too i might add.
Amanda - I hope Julian is feeling better soon. Yeah I really wanted Maya to self settle all along but it's only now that she finally has found her thumb! I just hope it continues.
belfie - Yeah at least if you have a c/s next time you have experienced labour once. Oh and I forgot to say that they did put Maya on my chest very quickly after she was taken out of my belly. But it was tough when they whisked her away and I had to be sewn up and then wait in recovery. It was only about half an hour total.. but gosh that felt like ages when I had a baby I was dying to see. Then my recovery was horrible afterwards, but I think that's rare. Anyway, I agree that looking into the pros and cons is the way to go. That's what I'll have to do in regards to VBAC.
Another day of going down for sleeps without any tears. I could get used to this! :) And Maya is moving a bit more. Sort of almost commando crawling. :D

Hun, you got it right the first time - however your baby enters the world is irrelevant as long as everyone is safe, and that you are accepting of it ... I have lots more to say - but it all sounds a bit airy fairy - so know my thoughts are with you on this one ;)
Someone has to have another soon - I am sstarting to cluck already and Z is only 9 months old tomorrow - I am too old for another, we have a super busy life at the moment anyway - but somehow we keep joking about it - DD says - wonder what the next one will be - i say nah, wont be another member this is our family, and then the next day DH and I say - yeah I wonder LOL.
Off to monthly BB coffee with some local gals this morning - need it this week ....

X is grumply this morning - woke up screaming at 5am and was just itchy itchy itchy poor little man. So lots of cream (skin cream not dairy cream lol maybe I need morning tea ha!) and into our bed for snuggles. I lay there listening to them BOTH snore! OMG like father like son!!! :doh:
Just another update from CSAB
Olivia is being transferred to the childrens hospital intensive care unit as they are better equipped to look after her there. She is needing assistance to breathe. She had a terrible night, gasping for air. They have knocked her out & are keeping her asleep. Cheryl doesn't know how long they will keep her asleep for. She now has pneumonia. She has tubes down her throat. Poor Cheryl is very upset & concerned.

Sami - I'm getting clucky again too!! I think it's partly hormonal cos it came on ever since my AF came back! But no plans for a baby here any time soon. I guess plans can change though. :lol: But seriously my body still hasn't recovered from the PG and C/S - I still have a numb thumb on my left hand and numb parts in my feet. It's getting ever so slowly better but not sure if it will ever come back to normal? I have seen lots of doctors and osteos about it and they all say "gee that's weird". :rolleyes: So I think I am the only person to suffer from it! Also I don't think I could cope with two babies. I want to wait till M is more self sufficient.
