Brooke, I second Fletch - you are not the world's worst mum. Like she said, it could have happened to any one of us - these little bubs move so quickly! I think it was probably worse on you than on Charli - she's a tough little chick! But you held it together so well and took care of her - the sign of a good mum. Let us know how you go on Wednesday, ok? BTW, we will definitely have to meet up again. I think we may live fairly close to each other (I'm in Wattle Grove - are you near there?) and I would love to have you and the other "local" girls over for a cuppa and a chat sometime soon. (Fletch? ;) ) That way we can meet you properly! Oh, and I have your bag and a little yellow and purple spoon that I think belongs to Charlotte. I'll get in touch and drop it off to you when it suits...
Fletch - As always, lovely to see you and the gorgeous Zane-man. And BTW, you are looking great!
Soph - What is it with us August mums and hospitals? It must be the week for it! Good to hear that little Lucie's toes are fine. It's funny, we were just talking today at the meet up about how we are always finding our hairs wrapped around our bubs! I'll remember to keep an eye on Josh's fingers and toes.
Jo - Woohoo for Sammy's sleep last night! I hope it's the start of something permanent for you. Love the kissing sounds - he sounds like such a cheeky, gorgeous boy!
Tracey - Well done to Indah re the crawling! And #3 - how exciting!
ETA: Josh is 7 months old today! :D
-
Whooooohooo Josh..7 months :p
Jo
-
Ouch for Charli! Sorry to hear about the accident today at the meet up. Brooke - you are NOT the world's worst mum at all. Unfortunately accidents happen all the time. I wanted to let you know, my DH was burned on his chest as a child by boiling water. A china teapot broke that his mother was filling with water from the kettle and scalded DH who was on the floor beneath. He lost a bit of skin at the time and had a map of Africa on his chest for some years! But he is scar free as an adult. Hope this puts your mind at ease a little.
Hi to all the August bubs and mums.
Fletch, is this where you are? Hi babe. Hope Zane is still tops. I think of that little film of him laughing while being fed pumpkin with fond memories. O:)
-
Oh soph and Brooke I have tears in my eyes for your our little girls having such a difficult day. Brooke there is NO way you should feel like a bad mum as it could have happened to any of us. I am terrified that something will one day happen to Kaitlyn as it only takes a split second. I had a family friends daughter who fell into a scalding bath when she was two ( they used to run the hot water first then add the cold) as you can imagine she was so badly scared at first but by the time she was about 8 yrs her body had grown and her scars totally faded! But please try and not feel bad ..I have just been comforting a friend whos son banged his mouth on the bath and chipped one of his teeth...and she to is a great mum too...but kids will be kids!. I think we are all in for lots of bumps and scraps and other injuries over the next few years. I am sending you HUGE :hugs:
Tracy bugger on the sleeping from Indah!. That is really exciting about the TTC! Were you waiting for Indah to start crawling before you started??
Another fan of Bryce Jo! I actually stopped reading him for a little while after he released Flinders Cat as I got a bit bored of his writing ...bit all the same. But I am really enjoying Jessica which is also a bit gross. I loved April Fools as well such a compasionate book I think I cried 1/2 of it hehe. But my all time favourite is the Power of One ..LOVE IT! That is the one that got me hooked on him. Yay on Sammy sleeping almost all the way through and on the kissing ...SOOOO CUTE!.
Bec I am glad Joshua is feeling better!. I am sorry I did not make it today! But I would love to meet up with you girls for a cuppa ..I hope I am not being rude by trying to invite myself
We had a different day as Kaitlyn is a little out of sorts with her tooth. She tried cheese on toast today which was very cute!. I also tried to back Teething Rusks with a recipe that was 1part rice cereal , 1part Flour and 1 part orange juice and I am not to happy with the results so I will have to hunt another one down !. Other then that pretty quiet here!.

Sorry Soph I forgot to answer your question about my Bday!. I have had quite a few friends moving lately ...my girlfriend from highschool moved to New York with her hubby and two boys and another just moved to Melbourne with her hubby and son and she has another little one arriving via csection in two days so she cant come to sydney in May. Plus a few other close friends that are away over that period. Add to that our little princess and I have decided not to have a huge evening do. So we have decided to have a lunch or brunch at this gorgeous place which is in Rushcutters bay...so nice!. Lots of room for friends with kids so the kids can run around , although pretty much all my friends still in sydney dont have kids hahaha. I was even considering not doing anything but once I found this top I decided I had to!!!
-
Nicole hope your sons party went ok, great to hear Chantelle had a good sleep that night. I cant wait to see you on wednesday, my other friend wont be able to make it as its her sons b'day that day but will come the next time we meet up.
Linda- sorry to hear that you got rained on camping....I am sure you had a good time none the less.
Melissa - what an awesome sleep for you and Benjamin. I am aiming to get Jordan thru till about 6am if I can. I fed him a 7.30pm so dont like my chances.
Well I started a new hobby I am making decorative personalised plates. I am going to try and sell them for some extra money.....
They have your babies name, DOB and a little drawing in the centre of the plate.
I will try and post some pics of them for you all....templates anyway

Cass,
Hee hee... No not waiting for Indah to crawl, I need to have been back at work a full 12 months before getting paid mat leave again, so I want to be back about 4-5 months & then start TTC, as you can be preg, justr have to stay at work 12 months for 13 wks full pay so it's worth it I guess!

Hi!
Well we had a great weekend!! It was a beautiful double story townhouse at Port Fairy and it was brand new! There was just a little one way lane and then the beach. We saw seals and dolphins in the water from our balcony which was just amazing and was also able to watch the sun rising in the morning - gorgeous!
Louis barely slept through the days with so much activity going on but did really well! I was really worried especially about the nights but he slept better each night. I actually got 5 hours straight sleep! Woo hoo.
He did so well with such a long drive also.
Last night he was really unsettled in the evening but then slept from 10.45pm through to 4.45am without a sound and then had a feed and back to sleep until 7.30am! Woo hoo. I haven't had that much sleep for ages. Surprisingly I actually feed really lethargic today though....
So it looks like things are starting to settle down hopefully. He's needing rocking to sleep again though which is not to great for my back but I think he's getting to tired before I'm putting him down. He's up now around 2 1/2 hours at a time!!
Has anyone started their bubs on anything other than pureed fruit/Veg?? I'm going to get some yoghurt next week for bubba. I gave him a tiny taste of mine and he loved it so...
Thanks for all of your support !!! It means soo much! I hope I'm more relaxed when no. 2 arrives one day - hehe.
Tracey - You reminded me I really need to get some pictures of Louis taken again! They always end up looking great! Wow on the great sleeps!!
Nikki - Thanks. Your right it just makes me want to be there for my kids even more when the time comes. Chantelles gorgeous!! Glad the sleep seems to be improving. It must have been a little developmental thing - who really knows ...Sounds like your son had a great party!! It seems hard to imagine birthday parties like that yet!
Kell - Wow - potty trained by 12 months - that would be hard! I agree totally I just don't know why people always have to put their views/opinions on to everyone else. Thats great it only took you one day with Molly - you would know when your kids are ready I imagine.
Cindy - Wow on Tori falling asleep on the floor!! I wish - he he. I'm sorry your mum thinks your not coping.. I think you must be superwoman doing all that you do! Louis isn't big on cuddles but I can't wait for when he is. Everynow and then he relaxes and we get one. I feed in the morning in bed lying down so thats my cuddles for the moment.
Melissa - What a gorgeous boy! Congrats on the big sleep! Is he feeding any more through the day with a big sleep like that??
Linda - Sorry you got rained on! I hope you had fun anyway.
Well thats enough from me! Sweet dreams everyone
-
Kristie - thats great that Louis went so well while you were away! And yay on the big sleep!!! \:D/
Tracey - the plates sound great, will you ebay them or what for marketing?
-
well my sons party was very...... um.......eventful to say the least.they were all awake at 12 midnight but all lying down on mattresses in the loungroom watching dvds so i went to bed exhausted,at 1 am my son came in to tell me one of the boys was sick,he was vomiting alot,i sat with him a while and gave panadol and a drink and helped him into bed,1.45am he came in again to tell me he was still sick so i had to ring his dad to pick him up,the poor dad lives half an hour away,he wasnt impressed but was eager to pick him up all the same, poor kid,i would say he had gastro.then at 2.30 another one of the boys came in to tell me he was scared and wanted to go home, one of the other boys was scaring him saying he thought he saw someone outside walking around the house, they were the only 2 awake at this stage,he was getting quite upset so i had to ring another dad,boy did i feel bad!!!!!
the rest of the party was great and thay all had a great time,i had 9 boys sleeping over and it sure was noisy but C handled it really well.
tracey cant wait to see you on wednesday,my sons birthday is also on wednesday.
kristie, port farie sounds georgous,so glad you had an ace time,it would have been soo nice for you to get away from it all.
linda, what a shame about the weather, melbourne has just had the most glorious weather the last week, you should have come here to camp, that will teach you for being so adventurous.LOL!!!!!
C has been having one solid feed a day this last week and so far she loves mashed potatoe with gravey and pumpkin.she is not too keen on the yoghurts or jars of fruit, she does like fresh banana.
she still hasnt been to good with her night time sleeps, last night was every 2 hours again.....oh well....what can i do!!!!!!!!!!
wow the commonwealth games were such a success.dh and james went to the boxing semi finals, they had a ball and really enjoyed themselves,we saw them on foxtel about 12 times.they think they are famous now hehehe.....
well i think that is about it for now, will cath up with you again later

Brooke -Oh you poor thing! And you are DEFINATELY not a bad mother. It could happen to anyone at all, and I am sure these little accidents will continue for us all over the next few years, fingers crossed just little ones though. Lucie tipped over the hot water that I used to heat her bottles the other day. Fortunatley it was about 30 mins after a feed and she was wearing a thick baggy fleece jumper which took most of the water instead of hitting her skin directly. But that was a bad mother thing! Am usually very careful - just having a bad day. Now it definately goes up on the shelf.
Tracey - Doesn't that 12 months include any time you might be pg? I know it does at my work, so theoretically you could be pg again after being back at work for 3 months? Is that the plan?
Cass - Your birthday plans sound great - exactly my kind of thing too. Hope Kaitlyn gets back in whack soon with this tooth. Bugger on the rusk recipe too. Did you find the other one in the other forum?
Bec - Yeap I don't think this group needs any more hospital time that's for sure! Yeeeeeha on Joshy's 7 month birthday!
Louise - How are you going?
Jo - how did Sammy go last night? Hopefully another good one for you.
Hi Fletch! How is Zane? I am so jealous of all you guys meeting up.
Well Lucie had a fantastic night last night. She only woke at 11.30!!!!! And then woke up at 5.30. From about 4.30 she had a few little wimpers in her sleep but I didn't need to get up. Ah it's so much better when they have a good night. And her toes look a heap better. Just to red indentations. Will still be sore for a few days I think though.
-
Yes Soph, that's right, but I'dwant to be back 5-6 months to be certain, who knows if you have to finish up earlier or whatever!!! So will prob start TTC Julyish.....?
I added a new pic of Indah in her funky nappy!!!
-
Kristie - Benjamin isn't having as many b/f as he used to now. He's getting pear and banana rice cereal for breakfast, a banana for lunch and pumpkin with a little bit of rice cereal in it for dinner. He has b/f's before each meal + 2 - 3 other snack feeds during the day.
I've got to book Benjamin in for his 6 month old immunisations. I can't believe it's almost been six months since Benjamin arrived.
Melissa
-
AArgh - Emma was up at 1.30am & 4.30 am last night!! Brought her into our bed at 4.30am. I hope this doesnt continue!!!!
-
Hi all
We have settled into a nice routine all of a sudden, I started giving Will 3 solid feeds a day and he is sleeping really well! He has 2 2hour sleeps during the day (and sometimes a 1/2 hr nap b4 dinner) and then from 7 to 7 overnight - Woohoo! I think he was just hungry, he really gobbles the solids, fruit and rice cereal for brekky and vegies for dinner followed by bottles. Molly goes to bed at 7 too, so we get the whole night off, we dont usually make it past 9.30 tho
Krisvee - If you are anything like me you will be sooooo much more relaxed with the second! With the first you are experiencing everything for the first time and are a bit shell-shocked at times it is such a huge change also there is always so much advice to sift through good, bad and otherwise it can be hard to deal with. But when the second comes along you realise that your first bub made it no matter what you thought you did right, wrong or otherwise and so you relax a bit more. dont get me wrong you will be busy, and you dont care less about how the second develops but you know more what to expect and so let things run their course...if that makes sense, or helps a bit :) The weekend sounds great, glad it went well for you!
Nikki - Sounds like the party was interesting :) I have sleepovers to look forward to I suppose... When does Chantelle have her solid feed? Do you think she could be waking because she is hungry? Just ignore me if you have already tried this I cant remember...
Melissa - I have Will booked in for his, it goes fast doesnt it?
-
Linda - Will would wake overnight when he was getting hungry b4 we started solids...Is Emma on solids yet?
-
Hi!
Linda sorry to hear Emma was waking through the night.
The hunger thing is something I keep wondering about because Louis last night only went 4 hours overnight before waking for a feed -grr. I stretched him to 5 but there was no way he was going back to sleep without a feed.
I'm bf him about 6-7 times a day and he's on 3 solids....grrr.
Oh well, it should settle down someday....maybe I should just try a ff at night and see how he goes....
Kell -That sounds like a great routine with Will!
Louis went down at around 8pm last night and then woke at 8am this morning but with a feed in the middle. Then he fed and we dozed until 9am this morning. He is only having 2 1/2-3 hours napping through the day though......
You all just reminded me to book Louis in as well. The time has flown....
Nikki - Sounds like an exciting night - Lucky it is only once a year!! Is Chantelle waking for a feed overnight or just waking???
-
uh oh, so much to catch up on! I hope my poor little brain can cope.
Brooke, hope Charli is Ok you poor thing, an accident does NOT make you a bad mother, don't think like that, silly. Goodness!!
Soph, hair on the toes :-k maybe that's why I always pull it off, I am paranoid about hair, Now I know why, hope Lucie is OK! & I hope she is still feeding well.
How far along are you now, can you feel bubby kicking yet?
Hi Jo, nice to hear you've had some good nights with Sammy!!
Trace, HI!! Love the nappies, especially the fluro one !! Indah is such a treasure!!Are you TTC too?
Hi Cass, has Kaitlyns tooth come through yet?
Yay for Josh, 7 months!!Where does the time go?
Hiya fletch, how is Zane today?
I hope I haven't forgotten any body, HI if I did.
Zac has a cold, again, this time I think it is real, we were up every hour last night with a screaming baby! he has never done that before, I am so nackered today, i haven;t had to get up to him since he was 3 weeks old, & staggering around my house all hours finding panadol or demazin has near killed me. He seems happy enough today but if I dont catch his dripping nose staight away, he licks it eewwww. And he is crawling, not up on kness crawling, but the good ole comando crawl, he he he he atleast he can get around .... sort of .....
Ok I've got to go, I have heaps of work to do & the parent/teacher interveiws are today.
have a great day all.....
-
Kristie - I think about 50% of babies still need at least one night feed at this age, it depends on the bub. Dont ff Louis unless you feel really comfortable with it.if you do express at the time he would usually bf so that if it doesnt change anything you can go back to bf, and if it does change things then one comp feed wont change all the 'good stuff' he is getting from you.
-
Kell, yep Emma's on solids slready, so its not that. I guess it's just a phase?
-
Hi,
Kell - Yeah I know...I think I just get frustrated a bit in the night...I know he must need it for now anyway.....I will stick with b/f for now I think...
-
Kristie, I'm with you on the frustration ATM. I dont think a ff would make much difference though? I think maybe with the change of seasons they notice the cold in the early hours & once awake wont go back to sleep without the feed. DYKWIM? Just another maybe LOL
-
Linda - Maybe. I also changed Louis because his nappy was quite full at 3am... I don't usually change it at 10.30pm but I might tonight to see if it makes any difference.
-
Hi Storm! Poor little Zacman. Hope he gets better soon and you can get some decent sleep. How is he feeding these days?
Tracey - July is not too far away at all! You'll be up the duff again in no time!
Well I checked out the toy library this morning. Only cost me $20 to join 'cos they pro rata it for the financial year. Got out a jolly jumper and some other smaller toys. It's great! I just chucked everything in a big tub of disinfectant first (who know where the toys have been!). And Lucie seems very happy to have a change. Not sure that she is overly keen on the JJ, so at least this way I can test drive and decide to buy it or not.
My sister comes tonight. Yay!
Munchkin not very hungry today but oh well, what can you do?
-
C is waking for a feed at laest twice.
so far i am only giving her 1 solid feed a day at lunch time.will try dinner tonight aswell.
nikki
-
Hey Girls :)
Cass - Of course you aren't being rude! It would be great to catch up with you too. We will all have to get our heads together and work out a day that suits everyone. How's Kaitlyn going with her tooth today?
Brooke - How is Charlotte doing today? How are you? I have heard about the mother's group at the community centre but have never gone as I don't know anyone else who goes and I'm a big chicken and didn't want to go on my own!
Soph - Have fun with your sister! The toy library is a good idea - and perfect for doing a test drive on all the toys. I hope Lucie has another good sleep for you tonight.
Storm - Poor Zac! I hope he is feeling better soon and you both get some more sleep tonight!
Jo, Fletch, Tracey, Georgie, Louise, hi!
We have had a pretty quiet day. We've been out the past 3 days and Josh needed a day at home. We just did a bit of grocery shopping. Which reminds me...did anyone get their pre-pregnancy brain back? I certainly didn't - I have a short term memory like a sieve. I bought a bottle of wine at the bottle shop before I went into the supermarket today and I put the wine in the trolley before I strapped Josh into the baby seat. I then realised that the straps on the baby seat were broken so I moved Josh to another trolley and left the wine in the first one and walked off without it. And I do stuff like this all the time!! :boggle: I remembered the wine when I finished shopping and went back to check, but of course it was gone. Oh well, I've shouted someone a nice bottle of wine to go with their dinner! At least it was only a bottle of wine this time and not a bag of CDs/DVDs like the one I misplaced last year when I was shopping for Christmas presents!! Can I please have my brain back?!
-
Hehehehe Tracey that makes more sense then the crawling theory . We are lucky at our office as I think you just need to come back! We have had 3 girls in the last 12months come back from maternitly leave already pregnant ..one of the managers came back 6months pregnant already!.
Brooke I hope you and Charli are feeling better today. HOw was she today?.
No Luck on another rusk recipe yet Soph. Although this morning I was buzzing around calling Melbourne to get details to send a friend a pressie and calling a girl from mothers group and generally just doing stuff and I looked up from my seat at Kaitlyn playing in her stand up gym and there she was chewing on one of them which I had forgot to clean up the night before ewwwwwww. Anyway means she obviously likes them hehe. Yay on your good sleep and also on Lucies little toes getting better. Funny thing the JJ , I think they feel a little insecure when they are hanging there . Kaitlyn seems to have worked it out now and she enjoys it now.
Storm I hope little Zac Man is feeling a little better tonight ewww on the licking his drips hehe. Yay on the crawling!!!
Bec dont worry I am still pregnant brains sometimes! When I was pregnant though I was soooo bad ..I used to actually create my own words and use them in a sentance. My girlfriends at work would pull me up on it as I would just keep on going not even noticing!.
Louise how did the Christening go? I spoke to Jackie today about going to that store at Marrickville on Friday after MG, is that still ok for you?.
We had a shocker of a night last night...Kaitlyn did not fall asleep until 130am ..arghhh then she was up from 6-7am and went back to bed until 9am . Bugger those toofies. Then today with my lack of sleep I got a very small migraine which lasted all day arghhhh ...I am exhusted!. So it is off to bed very early for me tonight.
-
WOW, @ the manager already being 6months preg!!!
Well I am abit excited, I am almost 100% certain I am ovulating again.... with ovul cramps & stretchy CM...
But I just booked a night for my birthday at Crown Promenade Hotel.... Which is.... July so woo hoo we might just make #3!!!!
We had credit to a travel agency that needed to be spent so what better way than to take myself out for my birthday, we book a room for DH & I, plus a room for Mum & Dad as Dads birthday is the 5th July & Mine is 8th, but also they have maddyt daily b4 & after school & never ask for anything & they have Indah 2 days a week!!! so it's our Thank-you gift!!!
I cant wait!!!
Ok gotta go tidy up dishes!!!!
-
Tracey - Your birthday sounds like heaps of fun. Perfect baby-conceiving surroundings I say! It must be sooooo good to have great parents close by like that. I am very envious.
Cas - I'll hunt around a bit later and try and find the other recipe for you, but great that Kaitlyn likes the other ones! Hope last night was better for you and this tooth stops giving Kaitlyn grief. Is it one of the top ones? I've heard they are meant to be pretty bad.
Bec - Oh dear re the wine and CD's/DVD's. I reckon someone just follows you around in the hope that you will forget something and then they can collect! I still have pg brain but now it is x2
Well Lucie had a bad day yesterday. Feeding wise she was right down and I had to fight her to take each bottle which I just hate doing. Then she screamed for entire half an hour drive with my sister from the airport. I think my sister was starting to wish she hadn't come! And then she was really grizzly and difficult to get down. Every time I went in she was standing right up on the side of her cot. But she did only wake once after she finally settled again at 9pm, and woke at 5am, so at least that was good!
-
Hi all
I am getting a little nervous with you all talking about bubs waking again during the night. I have only just got Jordan sleeping thru from 10pm till 7am, I dont want it to end. [-o<
He is going to be 5 months on friday, my little boy is growing soo fast.
Nicole - you must have felt terrible having to call the parents in the early morning but oh well, what can you do......
How is everyone going to go with daylight saving ending.....bubs will be waking up an hr earlier........hope we can get this sorted out quickly.
Hope you all have a nice day, sorry its short i have soooo much housework to do.
-
Hey nikki - how did the extra feed go???
Linda and Kristie -Change of the seasons can affect sleeping patterns, so that could be contributing to sleep problems. Also, as Linda said, if the bubs get cold they will wake, it's a hard time of year to dress for sleep because it's not too cold when the bubs go to bed but gets colder thru the night...
Babies can be soooo frustrating at times cant they? It's so nice when they get to an age when they can tell you whats worng etc. Having said that though they are so precious, and since we are thinking of stopping at 2 Will might be my last baby :( During the first few months I could imagine nothing I wanted less than another baby but now I am getting that urge again.... 8-[
OMG I was in the travel agents yesterday looking into gold coast visit (with mum in two weeks) and Will was in the trolley with the baby seat and Molly was sitting next to me. I didnt notice Molly got up until I heard the trolly shaking and as I turned around I saw Molly standing on the side of the trolley bouncing, just as I told her to get off the trolly tipped over! It fell on Molly, which actually saved Will falling too much i think, he only rolled out of his seat (heavily but not form a height or anything). Will landed on his front on the floor and Molly landed on her back. I grabbed Will first then got to Molly - they are both fine, just a bit scared *phew*
-
omg kell, the same thing happened to my boys when corey was a baby, james ended up with a fat lip.its awful isnt it.but beleive me it is not the last of scary little acciudents happening, both my boys have had several stitches,no broken bones yet,(touch wood)
the feed went well last night although she still got up 3 times during the night ggrrr
kell i know what you mean about wanting another bub,i have just joined the ttc while breast feeding thread...........omg!!!!!
nikki
-
Just a quick one from me this morning.
Hi all.
Zaccie is still really bad today, but he did sleep OK lastnight, he seems to be groaning himself to sleep. I have been giving him demazin but it doesn't seem to be working, he still has a heaps snotty nose, & the rest. Should I try something else for him? Perhaps dimeatapp, or it is bad to change medicines on them?
Thanks guys, IF he seetles down I'll come back & post properly, I just don't know how to help him anymore, I know he is sick, but all the crying is just making him worse, he doesn't want to be held & he doesn't want to be put down, he wont eat, or drink except the water I am giving him in the medicine dropper, should we go to the doc?Maybe it is something more sinister than a common cold. Even the vaporiser isn't helping
-
Oh Kell - that must have been so scary!! I bet your heart skipped a beat!
Kristie - how did Louis go last night? Emma went from 8pm - 5:45am, so I was stoked. I then brought her into bed with me & she slept until 8:45am.
Nikki - sounds like you've had your hands full lately!
Tracey - enjoy the sleep! I'm sure it will continue, all the bubs are different. Good luck with the housework today!
wELL i'M OFF HOUSEHUNTING TODAY. wE SOLD OUR HOUSE LAST WEEK & HAVE TO MOVE OUT IN LESS THAN A MONTH 8-[
Sorry about the caps.... :-k
-
Kell - I hope you gave the 2 of them lots of hugs and kisses afterwards? I bet Molly won't be doing that again in any hurry...
Melissa
-
Hi!
Louis did pretty well last night. He went down at around 8pm, I fed him at 10.30 and then woke at 2.30 for a dummy and then 4.30 for a feed, straight back to bed until 7.30 - I heard him grizzle for a minute and must have gone back to sleep until 8.15!! I was surprised because he didn't have his dummy in after his 4.30am feed so now I know he can fall asleep without it!!!
Even though I was up a few times he still slept his 12 hours overnight so I'm pretty happy with that!!!
I assume he's just going to need his night time feeds for a while longer....
Tracey - I'm sure he'll be fine! and it seems like the really unsettled period only lasts for 1-2 weeks anyway...
I think thats the panic we all have is that something changes and we think it's going to stay like that! If we new it was only going to last a few days or a week I don't think it would be so bad iykwim.
With re to daylight savings - Louis is waking up at 8am so I'm not too worried. It may just bring him back to a 7am wakeup time!
Kell -I completely agree on the urges! I've often said to Michael that I'm glad I get to do this all over again (even though sometimes I feel like I couldn't!!) at least one more time.
I'm so glad the kids are alright! You must have got such a big fright!!
Nikki - Ooh thats so exciting!! I'll have to have a browse later. I joined the pre-conception thread awhile ago....I'm thinking October but I'm going to go off the pill in another few months when my mini-pills finish. If I'd have known that I wasn't going to get a period in all this time I probably wouldn't have even bothered with the pill!! Probably won't next time....
I wonder who will be the first to get p/g in our group!!!
I was always worried about having bubba no.2 in our room but we slept with Louis in our room on the weekend and it was fine! The one night we had a really bad sleep with him he must have just been particularly unsettled.
Linda - Yeah for Emma having a big sleep!! Did you feed her at 5.45am?? or did she just want cuddles??
Good luck househunting!!! It's such a big job moving house! I hope its not too stressful for you

Oh Storm you poor thing, and poor Zac. Have you taken him to hospital? Has he started feeding at all? Just try and keep as much water in him via the dropper that you can I guess - that's what my BIL (a Dr) says to do when Lucie won't feed. Even 5-10ml every 20mins to 30mins adds up. Don't worry Lucie is flat out refusing her 10am bottles now. It has me distressed, but seeing paed Friday re her head lump so will talk to him then.
Fletch - You will be fine. I travelled for over a month with Lucie - heaps of flights and long car trips and strangers and she was a gem. I am sure Zane will oblige!
