Amber your such a sweetie you really are!
I promise to send off New Moon this weekend with M being so ill I've not had a chance, so sorry.

Well after my last post Maddi just kept getting worse, by 7pm she was really starting to struggle to breathe & she couldn't stop coughing was flat out refusing to eat or drink anything, still hadn't done a wet nappy & had a 40 degree temp so off to the hospital we went.
Maddi has a nasty case of Croup & had to be put on prednisolone to help open her airways because she was working too hard to breathe, we ended up staying the night because they were worried about her. Today she is much better she's only eating small amounts of icy cold things & still only drinking 30-60mls by syringe every couple of hours but her temp is gone & her breathing is improving. If she walks around too much you can hear her starting to struggle again but hopefully after 2 more doses of prednisolone she'll be a lot better.

    Congrats Kim

Mo - hope Maddi is feeling better soon, its so horrible when they are sick!

Tahlia still isnt 100% but she is on the mend... she is so clingy, I can't be more than 1 metre away. She wont even let me go into the kitchen while she is in the family room (she can still see me). As much as I feel sorry for her when she is sick, a break is nice too. Dh has taken her out to give me 30 mins peace....

Amber - enjoy the Big Day out... saw your pics on Facebook, your hair looks great!

    Congrats Kim!

Just wanted to pop in and share some news with you - looks like I'll be joining the rest of our pregnant Octo mums!!! DH and I are delighted to be expecting bub #3

I'm soooo sorry for not sharing our news earlier but we've gotten off to a rocky start and had quite a few scares, so with my dodgy history I wasn't feeling confident enough to share. We had our 12 wk scan on Tuesday and everything is looking good.

It's taken me about 6 weeks, but I'm finally starting to get my head around it...sort of.

For those who are on FB, can you PAHLEASE not mention it there, most of our extended family and a lot of our friends don't know yet.

Mo - I hope maddi is better really soon. My DD gets croup too and its the pits. I'm glad she's home, you'll probably find the prednisone will fix her up really quickly.

Kellie - hope Talia is better soon too. NOthing worse than a sick unhappy bubba.

Haven't had time to catch up with the rest of the last thread but big hello to all, will post properly soon.

**ETA: Looks like I've missed some news from Kim, better go check it out!

Willow - congrats!!! Thats great news! I must admit, I had a suspicion with your FB status about the important news being exciting! Are you going to find out the sex of the bub?

Amber - good luck testing tomorrow! Hope you get the result you are after!

Amber - DH's best mate's English DP just gave birth to twins yesterday and they used a condom . I look forward to hearing how your test goes!!

Willow - It's so nice that you've finally outed yourself! I don't know how many times I've nearly slipped up when talking about all us pregnant mums in here

Kellie - I'm glad Tahlia is on the mend. K gets so clingy when he's unwell too, it's soooo tiring. You have my sympathy!

Mo - Oh my goodness, poor Maddi! I hope she makes a very speedy recovery .

Karen - Blow up pools rock LOL! Joel was always the dare-devil, K has been so much more apprehensive and careful which is a nice change!

Tiff - Great to see you in here! Good luck TTC! I hope your journey is short and sweet

Not much going in here. K has been exceptionally happy today which is great . My mum came over and he wanted a cuddle from her, it was so cute! He really loves his nanna, both boys do. I can't blame them, she's pretty awesome - she vaccummed and mopped my floors for me today LOL!

    Have a great night everyone!

Amber maybe you'll be lucky number 11 (or is that 10 since Kim has popped) for the group

Congrats again Willow, that is such excellent news wishing you a safe & healthy pregnancy.

Kellie hope T feels better soon, i hear you on the clingyness.

Trish your mum did seem really nice that time i meet her, must great having her help with the little things.

I'm so tired in the last 2 days I've had 7hrs of broken sleep, whenever we try to lay down she starts to have a coughing fit which only stops when she wakes up then all she does is cry because her throat hurts. I guess the Croup wouldn't be so bad by it's self but having Croup with a really inflamed throat is making it so hard for her. I hate seeing her in so much pain!
Thank-you for all the well wishes for Maddi, according to the Dr's she should be over the Croup in 2 days guess we will see.

ETA- Amber Twins would be so cool, imagine how cute they would look together.

Just realized tomorrow is the beginning of single figured weeks for me, makes it seem a lot closer!

Mo - Poor you and Maddi . I'll send up some "get better" prayers for you . My mum truly is the best mum in the world, I am so lucky to have her. It is lovely to be able to have her help out. She created me stubborn though and I don't accept her help easily LOL! I argued with her for ages about cleaning the floors, but she's more stubborn than me!!

Amber - How freaky that Terri had a dream about twins!!! Man, I bet that's got you worried LOL! Twins would be so cool, you'd make an awesome mum to twins
