Amelia - I love both names. I think I posted about middle names over in the Baby names thread.
As for your friend the best thing you can do is just to be there for her, if she wants to talk, cry, forget, whatever.
I am not sure what L makes of my belly. I ask him where the baby is and he pats my tummy, but I also say where's mummy's tummy and he pats it. I don't think at his age there is much I can do to prepare him. One thing I am going to do is have a present for each day he visits us in the hospital. Nothing big just a book here, a toy car there etc. I read that making a fuss over the toddler in preference of the baby is a way to help them adjust and not feel displaced.
Teeth. We have had a hard time getting to brush L's teeth. We have tried different brushes, different flavour pastes, holding him down, letting him do it himself etc. At the moment he has an electric brush which he uses in the bath at night. I have heard its recommended the first dentist visit at 12 months. My SD is a dentist so I am hanging out for when he visits next to at least have a quick look (if L cooperates).
Becky - how are you? I had wondered where you had got to.
Another baby, how exciting. I think you'll know when the time is right.
L is at daycare 4 days a week (2 at the old centre and 2 at a new centre near our new home). Plan is that we will build up to 4 days at the new centre. He will stay in daycare while I am off on Mat Leave. I know that I couldn't cope with 2 young-uns at home. Besides these daycare places are hard to get and I don't want to lose them and also he does enjoy daycare and being with his little friends.

Had a relaxing day at home. Had a mid morning nap and then unpacking boxes and some housework in the afternoon. Also did some baby related things in starting to get my hossy bag ready. Tomorrow I plan to unpack some more boxes and more housework. Might also have a nap.
