    Hi everyone
Sorry I've been so slack at posting in here!

Happy Birthday Max!!!!! Whos birthday is it next?

Trish - what a beautiful post, you made me all teary. We are all so lucky to have met you too, you are an inspiration!

Amber - thanks for the hugs, it was a very sad time. I'm sending you heaps of positive birthing vibes too!

Julia - so sorry to hear that the dreaded morning sickness has arrived, it sucks!

Kaz- my almost 2 year old doesnt stop whinging! I was ready to give her up for adoption on Saturday she was so feral. Luckily the nicer Tahlia returned Sunday morning! I was beginning to wonder why I was having another bub cause I couldnt even control her!

Mo - I've changed my mind, I'm getting extremely strong pink vibes now. I dont mind what it is either way as long as he/she is healthy! I will be finding out in just over 8 weeks though!

AFM - nothing much new, got my downs scan on Thursday so looking forward to seeing little peanut again!
I cant believe Tahlia will be 2 in less than 3 weeks!

Trish - you made my day with your kind words. You have been the continuing presence in the group and its not the same when you're not around. I know that you will always have some words of wisdom and experience to whatever is going on. I hope to one day to meet you, as I know we'd be friends IRL.

Since we are sharing I just wanted to say I consider myself so lucky to have such a supportive and caring group of friends. Some of you I have met IRL others I hope to. I always look forward to reading the news from each of you and look forward to as the kids grow.

OMG Talk about warm fuzzies in here....how beautiful. Trish I agree with Amber, you are like the leader, you are a fantastic person, an inspiration and you have such strength. I love you!!! Thanks for making my 'birthing' day so special.

Everyone else....I love you all too....*sniff...emotional* Everyone here is so special in so many ways, and I have to say I really treasure my virtual world of friends. Such a shame I live over west or else you'd have me on your doorsteps Thanks all for being my friend.

Max is having a good day today. I can't believe he arrived today at 3:55pm two years ago! He's grown so much and I get so much out of just watching him do his thing and be HIM. He's perfect! (Kaz...although whingy...VERY whingy...it does my head in). I feel pretty crapola today...just constantly queezy unless I"m shovelling something into my mouth! Cheese and vegemite...I'm addicted

Again girls thanks for being such great people and I treasure every single one of you xoxo

I also want to say you ladies mean so much to me, You were all there for me when i went through all horrible crap with my mum. I honestly would of have a complete breakdown if wasn't for you all being there to give me virtual hugs & listening to me post after post.
You will never know how much all that meant to me.

Awww , you girls are all so sweet and lovely . I don't know what I'd do without ya all. You really do keep me sane when I feel isolated at home. Thanks to each of you for your lovely words back . EEK at being seen as the leader LOL! I think it's just cause I talk to much .

I'm glad you don't all think of me as a complete sop! (Well, I hope not anyway LOL )

Kellie - K has gone through phases where he gave me grief at bedtime for a few nights in a row, then went back to normal. Hopefully Tahlia will be the same!

Julia - have you tried the new Cheesymite (aka iSnack 2.0)? I wasn't a fan to begin with but now I love it.
I feel exactly the same way about L. I am truly amazed by him everyday and take great pride that I (ok we) created this beautiful amazing little person.
Kellie - fortunately we aren't having problems with L's bedtime. He chucks tantrums earlier in the evening but bedtime is usually ok.

Whinge time - I have the sorest back. I don't know how I aggravated it but it is so sore I can barely walk, can't sit for long and lying down is hard. Went to the physio yesterday and it is all taped up and have to go back tomorrow and do exercises at home. As you can imagine it is difficult not to lift either L or Immi. Anyway, thats not the whinge part. DH has come down with another cold and has spent the last 2 days at home. He is carrying on and moping around the house and everything is such a big effort. He's just had a nap on the couch meanwhile I am stuck in a chair with Immi frightened to get up in case I fall and drop her. How is it that women just have to get on with it while men expect that the world will stop for them? I am so frustrated I swear I'm going to abuse him soon.

Sorry for being such a downer. Anyway, got stuff to do. BBL

Ouch Saffi . You poor thing, that is the last thing you need! I hope your physio can work some magic and help you make a speedy recovery. And GRRRR to your DH! I HATE man flu! I "love" how they can just take a nap or rest when they aren't well...

I am sooo tired today for some reason and K is having a shocker of a day too. He is teething atm and has been at his crankiest today. He's really clumsy with it as well, he is tripping over things, hitting his head on things, the list goes on...I asked him this morning if he wanted to go back to bed and he said "OK!" lol! You know he's not feeling flash when he agrees to have a nap!! Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I'm feeling a bit sad that I won't be spending the day with K for his second birthday . It is on a long weekend (Saturday) and DH is taking the boys and our BIL away camping. They were originally planning on leaving on Friday arvo (Joel's birthday ), but I put my foot down because that meant I wouldn't see either of the boys on their birthdays. Joel would be at kinder for the morning then straight off camping. I was so upset that I would miss seeing them on their special days, does that make me weird? I know they'd have fun camping, but they only have one birthday a year and I just want to be able to give them a birthday cuddle and watch them open their presents. Maybe that's selfish of me? Our BIL is upset that they have to leave on Saturday morning instead of Friday arvo, he doesn't seem to understand how I feel and told DH he'd get my sister to call me to try and change my mind! (Don't worry, she wouldn't do that ). I was willing to compromise which is why they are leaving on Saturday morning so I can at least celebrate with K over breakfast. I dunno, am I being selfish?

Trish- you have given me happy tears! that was such a lovely post on everyone and it really reflects how much of a great support network this is and everyone in here and the fact that everyone catches up, still chats, still gives advice cements how solid a group this is! oh yes my joys with Tyron and his feeding, it seems like not that much of a big deal now but boy that was the hardest time in my life, i thank you and everyone for giving me loads of support whilst trying to get through the feeding problems with him.

Happy 2nd birthday Tyron Hope you have a great day

Trish - There will be enough birthdays once he is an adult that you may (?) not see him so get them in while you can. L will be going to daycare on his actual birthday but I figure he'll be having more fun with his friends than me.
Nic - thanks for posting the list.

Happy Birthday Tyron! Have a great day!

Trish - I dont think that you are being selfish at all, of course you deserve to give your boys birthday cuddles and kisses on their actual birthdays and get to see them open their presents! Its our right as mums!

    to Maxxy and Tyron!!

Trish - You are the sweetest person. I too would have gone spare without you to talk to over the last 2 years...can you believe it's 2 years??!! I agree with the others - you're the glue that sticks us together and no matter how busy you are or what you have going on you ALWAYS post personals!! Which is more than I can say for the rest of us (well me and Amber anyway...HAHAHA! Love you Amber!!)

I don't think you're being silly at all re K's bday. Honestly, I wouldn't be letting them go at all so I think you're being pretty reasonable!

Nic - Not sure if you mean my Logan for the 2nd or if there's another Logan, but my DS is 1st November.

Amber - I haven't forgotten about the nappies babe, just have 2 sick big kids and dragging them tot he post office is hard work at the best of times. Hoping to get there tomorrow, but in any event will post them by the end of the week!

Saffi - You poor thing! Hope your back is better soon. I have a dodgy shoulder and every time I have a baby it starts playing up again. I think it's from all the lifting and carrying and feeding etc. It does settle down eventually but it's not fun atm.

    Big hello to everyone else!

Is everyone having a party for the kids' bdays this year? L isn't having a party this year. We've agreed that the kids can have one every second year. So this year I'm just making a cake and we'll go to a play centre with a few close friends and my nieces I think. Not sure what cake to make him this year. He's into the Wiggles again atm so was thinking a wiggles cake but have NO idea how I'd do it!

As I said, both of my big kids are sick with a nasty cold. L has copped it the worst so far and is cutting a molar on top of that so has been a bit miserable this week.

We had some of our BB friends over for a play date and lunch yesterday which was fun but chaotic! I think there were about 12 kids here! I was so proud of my big boy who asked to have a sleep and went down without a fuss even with a house full of kids to play with! Never thought I'd see the day that he'd be such a good little sleeper!

Bubba D is doing well, although I suspect he has finally caught this cold off the kids (as have I) Will see how he goes today and have made an appt with our GP for them all tomorrow.

Still a few weeks till his repeat scans at the children's hospital but hoping all will be well

He is feeding and sleeping pretty well. Days are harder than nights and he is generally only waking once or twice overnight so I'm getting a good stretch of 5-7.5 hours from him which is really nice! DH and I have our evenings to ourselves which I didn't think would happen again for a while. Hopefully things stay good in that department!

Better go, D needs to go back to bed...(Saffi/Trish - ever feel like all you do is feed them and put them to bed?!)

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYRON!!!

I hope you are having a fun day!! (I hope you are too Nic!)

Willow - Thanks for your lovely words . It's hard to believe it's been two whole years isn't it?! We're having a party for the boys because Joel is turning 5 and we thought we'd make a bit of a deal for him, and K gets to be included just 'coz LOL. We are hoping to have a bit of a party at Joel's favourite park the week after their b'days (most people, inc. the boys will be away on their b'day weekend because of the Melbourne Cup). I hope your kiddies get better soon, nothing worse than a household of sickies .

Saffi - Thanks for backing me up re: the boy's birthdays LOL! As long as I can at least give them a cuddle and watch them open their pressies I'll be happy. I know they'll have a ball going away too so everyone wins

Kellie - I think it's our right as mums too! We put in all the hard yards, we should be able to celebrate their special day with them once a year .

misskate - Great to hear from you . Lochie sounds like a real cutie!

Better run, the little Miss has awoken and I need to get her back to sleep for a bit longer yet!
