A new page ... and 2nd to post .. woohoo. Small things Karen ...very small things .. hehehe!
On another note, the gp that I went to today, thinking she is normally great, seemed to have no idea. Tay apparently has a virus, I think bronchitis. But her ears are bad again, but she said I will give you the anitbiotics but don't put her on them until Thursday if she is no better. Get ventolin for her wheezing, which has happened twice, oh and don't worry about her loss of appetite, her complaining her head hurts constantly and her constant whinginess that we have dealt with over the past few weeks and are now putting it all together and wondering if something is wrong? Am I asking to much to find someone that is not so blaze` about everything? Argh! So my sick girl is still sick, we got told baby vicks for her chest and fess for her blocked nose. It just does not seem enough to me. The other thing, this is about our 4th ear infection in the past few months, when do they start looking at something more to do for her since antibiotics don't seem to ever clear it? Sorry for the grizzle, just getting a bit over gp's at the moment. They love to get you in and out quickly, and never really give you any answers. I really need to find a new one, if anyone knows of anyone in the Narre area I would love to know about them.
Karen when Maddi kept getting ear infection after ear infection we were told if it kept going the way it was she would most likely need grommets(That was after 4 ear infections). Thankfully we haven't had any problems since then.
I really hope you find a good Dr soon, we were so lucky that found our Dr when we moved here. He is really good with the girls & he has been a great GP for me as well.
I saw my Dr yesterday & since my illness is flaring again he wanted a blood test (Yippee) the poor lady couldn't find a vein. So she took it from my hand, She felt so bad about it. I kept telling her not to worry i'm so use to having blood taken from there.
Anyways my blood count is dropping nicely & i've used up all my iron so my blood count will just drop quicker now. Off to get my 100th(slight exaggeration) iron infusion next week.
I'm off to feel sorry for myself now.
Amber i really hope nudger decides to come out soon. Every time i get txt i'm hoping it's from you.

Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes for Lochie. I think he had a good day. He loved his presents of a huge Tonka truck, a workbench and a music table. I think he is going to be a tradie as he is running around with tools in his truck wearing a hard hat! Anyway, I made a cake for him and we sang happy birthday to him and he blew out the candles. Tomorrow is his party with his little friends.
Alz - nice to hear from you. You have had a hard time with Daniella from the sounds of it. Glad that it appears to be resolved now. Come and join Trish, Willow and I in the Baby Buddies Aug09 group. Dragon - yes pregnancies seems to be at epidemic proportions. With my MGs most are either pregnant or have had babies. And of course most of the ladies here are pregnant, had another baby or a planning to. Kaz - talk about frustrating GPs. I hope Tay gets better soon. Mo - sorry to hear that you are getting sick again. Amber - any news? Celtic -
Day at home today. Yesterday was so busy with Dr 's appointments (Immi's and mine) and shopping for L's party (tomorrow). Anyway, looking forward to a rest as my back is so so with all the getting in and out of the car and walking.
Hi girls, just a quick update regarding Tay. We finally found a gp that seems to know what she is talking about. She found that Tay has a throat and ear infection, croup and fluid on her ear. She has given us pred mix for the croup and her breathing and high dose antibiotics for the infections. She has us going back for a follow up in 7 days and if still no better is going to refer us to a ENT. Finally feels like we are getting somewhere and someone has listened to us. But the Dr said Tay's irritability, whingyness, telling us her head hurts and loss of appetite could all be related to her getting ear infections!
Anyway I have so much to do before we go away tomorrow, but I wanted to give you an update! I hope that you are all well ... xxx
K enjoy your trip away & i'm so glad Tay is finally doing better.
Saffi i hope L party went well & the kids all had a great time.
Amber happy EDD sweety & i hope Myles is feeling better soon.
Trish a huge happy 5th birthday to Joel, I can't believe he is 5 already, where does the time go.
Things are going well here, Maddi took one of Kodi's toys off her this morning.
Kodi kinda leaped at Maddi & starting pulling her hair & scratching her face, It was so cute.
Bout time Maddi got a taste of her own medicine!
Sorry, I've not been a good babybuddy!! I've been pretty blah this week. Yesterday was the worst, even though Max slept for EVER yesterday afternoon, my motivation was null & void!
DH is home sick from work today, so of course I have two kids to take care of plus feel sick at the same time. He's just farting and groaning in the bedroom....pardon me if I don't feel that sorry for you dude!
Mo How funny...the visual of Kodi leaping at Maddi and attacking her made me laugh out loud! That sweet little bunny with those big blue eyes...who'd a thought! How did Maddi take it!!? Amber I had a dream that you had bub after you were at a party eating hot dogs and having a hot shower....so try that!!!!!! xxoo Trish Happy 5th Birthday to Joel....and Happy 2nd Birthday for Kieran for tomorrow. I understand how you feel. I'd want to give my baby a cuddle on his birthday too....it's the day everything comes flooding back to you xo Saffi Max got that megga big Tonka for last xmas and he LOVED it....had to leave it in Perth though coz it was too big to bring here. We used to push him around in it, and he thought that was the best thing EVER Kaz Thank goodness you found a doc that actually DID something. I know the feeling when you go to the doc and you just are made to feel like one of those crazy mothers desperate to find something wrong with your child. It happened to me when Max had something wrong inside his mouth....I demanded drugs from the 2nd doctor I went to saying I didn't care if he didn't think there was something wrong that I KNEW that there was!!! No one knows our children better. At least the 2nd doc you went to will also follow up with ENT doc too.
Well that's it from me...hope everyone is well and our 2 year olds are being nice to their Mummies!
Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tiera for today (and anyone I've forgotte, please forgive me xoxo)
Happy Birthday Tiera! Hope you had a great day! Happy Birthday to Joel too!
Kaz - glad to hear you finally got some answers
Julia - hope your feeling better soon! I cant believe your almost 10 weeks... I think my sickness starting subsiding around then, so fingers crossed for you!
Not much new with me, just getting ready for Tahlias birthday, she is so excited which makes me so excited too! We just almost had a cake disaster, she was helping me ice it, and she decided to stick the spatula in and took out a huge chunk! Nothing a bit more icing couldnt fix though!
If I'm not in here tomorrow, happy birthday to Kieran and Lachlan
and..
a specially big Happy Birthday to my darling Princessn for tomorrow, you have given me the best 2 years of my life and I cant imagine life without you!
anyway, enough soppy stuff from me, enjoy the weekend (long weekend for the Melb gals)!
Just wanted to wish my beautiful boy Kieran a happy 2nd birthday!
You are such a gorgeous boy who makes us all laugh, we love you heaps!
Happy birthday also to Tahlia and Lachlan!
I came down with gastro yesterday (at midnight) and I was unwell all day yesterday so the boys didn't leave for their camping trip until this morning. At least I got to see my birthday boy for a few minutes! Luckily no one else has caught the bug, but we all have terrible coughs and colds. I'm sure camping will be good for them all, better than sitting home feeling sorry for yourself like me! Alana is sick with the cold too and was so unsettled yesterday and last night. I didn't get much sleep which sucks because I really needed it after being up all night the night before!
Thanks for the birthday wishes for Joel, he had a great day. He went to kinder and they made a fuss of him and he got lots of pressies. He loved the Superman costume I bought him, he wouldn't take it off! We gave K his pressies yesterday too because they'll be driving all day today and we thought it would be nice for him to join in with Joel.
Amber - I hope Nudger makes his or her appearance really soon! Hang in there, you're doing a great job baking .
Kellie - Enjoy your day with your special birthday girl . Are you having a party?
Julia - I hate that "blah" feeling in the first tri. You will have more energy and motivation soon
Mo - LOL at Kodi attacking Maddi! I'm sure you will have plenty more fights to come!
Kaz - Poor Tay! She must be feeling so awful . I hope she gets better really soon.
Saffi - I'm glad L had a good birthday. K loves trucks too, I bought him a book full of pictures of cars and trucks for his birthday and he won't put it down. He keeps saying "truck book"!
Hi to everyone else! Hope you all have a great weekend!
Have a great girly day Amber! I miss those days when I could do that, just before Alana was born
I am sooooo in love with our Amby baby hammock LOL! I pulled it out a couple of days ago because Alana wasn't napping too well (I'm guessing because she'll unwell). I put her in it for a nap this morning and she's been asleep for 2 hours so far! This is unheard of for her. I'm so glad I kept it, I think it will be getting a good workout again!
Oooh we loved our hammock last time too! Must get it ready for this one Life savers they are! Get some rest hun while she is napping as hard as that is xxx
