Kazaraz - I hope bubby has moved into a btter spot for you! As stupid as it sounds I am looking forward to all of that again! It is comforting to know bubby is ok with every push and kick.
Kellie - I LOVE your new Avi!!! I haven't noticed it as yet so please forgive me if it has been changed for a while! We're not finding out what we're having, we didn't with DD either. I'd like to but DH really doesn't want to know and I would be able to keep it a secret. It's really nice to play the guessing game and have the surprise at the end though. Are you going to find out??? I'm only a week and a half behind you!!! Our bubs will be nice and close again!!!
Really nothing much to report here. T is saying more and more words and sentenaces everyday. She is a funny little Miss!!! I am REALLY loving this stage.. I know I say that about every stage, but she is just so funny and so fun these days, its the best!
to everyone else out there in the land of toddlers! Have a great day all!
Kellie - L's mozzie bites are much better, thanks for asking. We have been covering him in repellent and have a bug zapper on in his room so hopefully he shouldn't be attacked anymore.
I had to laugh when you said T asked for panadol. I can't imagine L ever asking for medicine. We still have to hold him down to get any medication into him. Tiff - this stage is pretty good isn't it. Mind you there are also some whopper tantrums too (for us anyway). Amber - Myles will settle down and get used to his little brother. Great that Flynn is being good to you.
Hello to everyone else.
Going to be a hot one here today. Got all the windows open but it is still hot. DH has come down with a virus or something AGAIN so he is home. I've sent him off to lie down as its better than him moping around.
Saffi - Oh yeah, T throw some great tanties! Thank goodness they don't really last long... YET! It is really hot here today too, so I can only imagine what it is like in sunny QLD, I am so glad we have aircon (although I don't have it on atm as there is a nice breeze coming through). Hope your little man is feel better soon!
Mo - great news about Kodi. Let's hoping for a long stretch of being healthy.
Some good news for us. L had the whole of yesterday morning in underpants. Daycare put him in undies as it is so hot up here they thought he might be uncomfortable in cloth nappies. He was dry the whole morning. They are transitioning him into pre-kindy and I assume that most of the kids are TT. So now I'll have to go out and get some undies. We have started TT him so now we'll see about maybe having him in undies too. Trish/Willow - any tips on what worked for your kiddies?
Immi is having her long morning sleep so might go and have a shower and get my day started.
Mo so glad K is feeling better poor love! how are you feeling? Saffi thats great about L in the undies! We just let M have no pants on at home so he got used to the feeling etc! He has regressed a bit but I think thats cause of F coming along! just put him in undies and see how he goes good luck! tiff how is everything wiht you guys! T is so cute! x
hi to everyone i missed and i know i am being slack for missing you sorry!
Everything here is great..well M is being a bit bratty but he will be ok! We are getting some professional photos done on Thursday so am looking forward to that. But have to see the on tomorrow about the bleed so will see how that goes!
Mwah xxxx
Another slacko here Still feeling a bit ill....was sick today. It's a bit annoying, just when I think it's subsiding! I had my scan yesterday and have already got the Nuchal results back that I'm VERY low risk! YAY! Blobby was in perfect position for the scan too. I hope he/she is as wicked as Max!!
We've had a pretty good day today. DH had to go to China this morning and will be back Thurs, so apart from the early morning wake up, we've had loads of fun. Gone to the park on level 11!, a 2.5 hour sleep from the little man (and a little one for me too), and we just came back in from a megga swim. Maxy can SWIM! I put floaties on him for the first time the other day and today and he's in his element in the pool. Kicks and swishes his arms around. He looks so proud of himself too! It's adorable!
Saffi In reply to your TT, I have also started with Max. I've done what Amber said and just let him be nude around the house (usually after his morning poo in his nappy - as he only does 1 poo a day!) and have recently bought him some 'big boy pants' which he's totally chuffed about. I put him in a nappy for his nap, and today he didn't wet it, so took him out of it straight away and took him to the loo and he does big wee's on the toilet. We've made up a reward system of sorts (a supermarket sticker reward thing!) and he loves that too. He has only wee'd once in his pants and hated it, I think because he just doesn't like being dirty. I really have no idea what I'm doing, just winging it I think. Anyone else with suggestions I'll also take it on board.
Mo Glad to hear K is better and the rash has gone. Maxy had one the other day that lasted a week and I swear everyone thought I was walking around with a lepper or something! Pish I can't believe how pregnant you are! And I'm two weeks behind you! How fast is the time going! I'm scared!!!
HI everyone else! Love to you all and you know it xoxo
Another update from me ... so my pain returned this afternoon so I have been to the hospital tonight to have it checked out. It turns out I have pelvic instability. Common in 2nd, 3rd or more pregnancies and after c/sections. The Dr was great and checked bubs and he is ok. Moving around, which is a little annoying cause he would not move for me for most of the day, even with my poking and prodding. They always make you look like a liar when you say you have had few movements and then they go on to have a good move around for the Dr! LOL. So apparently physio helps this condition and I may have to wear a brace. Hopefully not. But will make an appointment with my osteopath asap and see what she says. Additionally the Dr thinks I am having severe musculor skeletal issues and this is also another multiple pregnancy and c section thing. She said so it is no surprise I am in a bit of pain. She has given me panadeine forte for pain relief, so we will see how that goes. Nice to finally have an answer and not feel like a hypocondriac!
Always something and this makes the decision to not have any more kids a really easy one!
Sorry that I still have not got around to pm's ... but I just wanted to keep you guys updated on what was going on. I am trying to read your posts in between lying down and feeling sorry for myself. Hoping for a better and pain free day tomorrow!
Mo - Thats great K is feeling better, I bet you're relieved!!! Yeah I'm loving all the talking T is going and all the new words, we just have to remind people at times to be VERY careful what is said in front of her!
Saffi - That is fantastic L did so well in the undies!!! I had T in undies the other and forgot, headed out to the shops before I rememebered then ran to the toilet so many times to see if she needed to go, which she didn't... As soon as we got home she stood at the back door, bent over and watched herself wee. Stupid thing was is I didn't even think to tell her to hold it for a sec and run her to the toilet! My brain is mush!!! I hope it is an easy transition to undies for you!
Amber - Awwww family photos sound just gorgeous!!! I hope the shoot goes really well tomorrow for you! I can't wait to have some family pics, we haven't got any as yet! We haven't even had prof pics of T done yet!!! I want to have the family pics done when I have a big belly so we can have some belly pics (and only buy a few pics) then have more done once we are a family of 4! Have fun tomorrow, can't wait to see the pics!!! We're all great here thank you! My belly is getting awfully big already! I'm going to have DH take some pics today and I'll put them on FB.
Julia - Sounds like you had a great day yesterday with your gorgeous little man! You sound a lot like me, you can fall in love with him a billion times over and do it all again the next day! Thats great that you're having so much fun with him, he's a lucky little man to have you as a mummy! I love that you're only 2 weeks behind me! I just wish you lived a little closer! hahahaha Although I am determined to get over to Singapore in the next year or so, I know I'd love it there, so who knows! Take care, I hope you're feeling better soon.
Kazaraz - I hope the pain killers kick in soon for you! At least you have got some answers, but really does sound horrible for you! I think my mind would be made up pretty quickly not to have more kiddies if I was going through what you are. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Well not really anything to report here. T fell asleep in my arms yesterday after lunch which she has not done in a VERY long time!!! I loved it... I didn't want to put her done! She just looked so beautiful, but I know she sleeps a lot better in bed so I had to.
I have been having the strangest of dreams lately and last night was no different, I wake up shaking my head wondering where that came from!!! hahahahaha nothing dirty like they say you can have during preg, they're just very left of field to say the least! Anyways, keeps life interesting!!!
Morning ladies, another slacko here I'm trying to keep up with both my buddy threads and failing miserably
Mo - So glad to hear K is doing better
Julia - WTG Maxxy on the TT! We've sort of started here, just sitting him on the potty before his bath and in the mornings. Time to get a bit more serious I think. Even though I've done this before, I've heard girls are very different and to be honest, DD didn't 'get it' until she was a bit older. We tried at 2 and she just wasn't ready. Will see how he goes and whilst I'd love to only have one in nappies, I'm not going to rush him, there's no point. But what you're doing is pretty much what I did with DD and she 'got it' within a few days on our second attempt. Great news on your scan results too! I swear you'll be popping that baby out before you know it, it goes sooooo fast!
Trish - The wraps I've got here are larges. One is green, the other white with coloured squares and the third is a very boyish blue - I was thinking of holding onto the blue one in case I decide to try it for D is that OK? My friend is happy to sell them to you, will ask her how much she wants for them. So jealous of A's night sleeps, we've really gone downhill the last few weeks and D is waking 3 times a night some nights Starting to get tired. I just don't seem to know how to get my babies to sleep through at an early age. Mostly I'm OK with it cause he's such an aweseome self settler and sleeps heaps during the day, but I'd like to cut it back to 2 wake ups if we could - I just don't know how to!!
Kellie - Hope Miss T is feeling better soon
Kaz - Sorry to hear you've been so uncomfortable. Now that they're onto it, hopefully you can sort something out that helps with the pain. The joys huh?? DH actually brought up the subject of number 4 the other night and whilst I was pleasantly surprised and entertained the idea for a while, I then remembered how uncomfortable I was in the last tri, the horrendous birth and the complications I had after #3 and yeah...I think I'll stick with 3!!
As for us, things are going pretty well. D is such an easy going, happy boy. I swear all he does all day is sleep, eat, talk, smile and blow raspberries! LOL. He has started rolling onto his side the last week or so, can't remember if that seems a bit early or not?
We have his follow up appt with the paed tomorrow to discuss the results of his scans at the children's hospital. I'm confident that his hips are OK, but I'm stressing about his head Hopefully all will be OK
L is doing great, his usual wild boyish self! LOL. He has had another leap verbally and is like a parrot now, copying word for word everything we say to him. He is finally saying his own name too - "Gogan" or "Gogie" (I call him Logie a lot) PMSL! He points to his chest and says "Gogan" like a little cave man, he's such a boy!! haha.
Better go, housework calls...

Willow - Yay, they are larges! I'd love to buy two of them if your friend is happy to part with them, I don't care what colour they are LOL! Just let me know how much she wants (inc. postage) and I'll get the $$ to you or her. Don't be too jealous, Alana has woken up after only 5 hours of sleep the past two nights! On Sunday night she did 10 hours straight (woohoo!), but it was just a tease . Her problem is that she tries to pull her arms out of her wrap (she is sooooo strong) and this annoys her and wakes her up. She needs to be wrapped though or she can't sleep , it's driving me INSANE. How cute that L calls himself "Gogan"! K calls himself "Deedee" because we mainly call him "Kieree", so funny!
Tiff - That's so sweet that Tiera fell asleep in your arms . K keeps falling asleep on the couch or the floor these days, at 2 they really wear themselves out don't they?! I used to get so many weird and vivid dreams when I was pg, I should have written them down so I could laugh at them again!
Kaz - I'm glad they found a cause to your pain. Ouch you poor thing . I have an unstable pelvis too (from a work accident) and it flairs up badly when I'm pregnant. I saw an awesome chiro when pg with Alana and my back was soooooo good. It has never been better and I wished I'd gone to see her during my other pregnancies. I hope you get some relief soon!
Julia - Bummer your DH has to be in China . You and Max have SO much fun, I'm really jealous . Max is such a gorgeous boy! My cousin is in Singapore for work atm and she said there was awesome thunder and lightening yesterday.
Amber - Myles will be back to normal in no time, it just takes a while for them to adjust to not being the only child. Joel gave me such a hard time when K arrived. Luckily by number 3 the other two are used to sharing mummy so it isn't such a big deal. I hope the photos work out well!
Saffi - Wow @ L in undies! I honestly can't remember what I did to TT Joel . I think I used lots of bribery and praise. It took him until he was 3 to actually poo in the toilet, before that he would ask for a nappy, then run outside and do one! I haven't started on K yet, I'm just too distracted with Alana.
Mo - I'm glad Kodi's rash has gone and that she is better, you guys need the break! It was great seeing you briefly on Saturday, Maddi has grown up so much
Kellie - I hope Tahlia's ear is better now, the poor little thing. How exciting that your scan is in 3 weeks! Can't wait to find out the flavour!!
AFU - DH cut K's hair the other day, I put some photos on FB yesterday. He looks so different! I'm kinda sad to see his cute long hair go, but it was just getting so hot and making him uncomfortable. I know it will grow back quickly, it always does. He looks so much like DH now, everyone keeps commenting on it!
His speech just keeps getting better everyday, it's such an amazing age! He can't say "K" sounds and usually replaces them with "D". So cars are "dars" LOL! Trucks are "gucks", etc. Luckily I can understand him! I am his interpreter for DH. "My dane" means "My turn", took me a while to work that one out LOL!
Anyway, better go and get Alana up from her nap. Have a great day everyone!
I loved the pics on FB Trish!!! I have to agree, K does look a lot like his daddy! And what a good daddy he is (I know I said that on FB!), for giving his little man a hair cut! I don't even see DH doing that, but you just never know. This is such an amazing age with everything they can do and say. I let Tiera say what it is she is saying then I quietly interpret for who ever it is if they look clueless or sometimes I politely repeat what she has said so then she's not getting too cranky when people don't understand. If they don't understand or they're saying the wrong thing to her when I'm not around she comes and gets me!!! That great K is doing so well.
Willow - I hope all goes well with your littlest man tomorrow at the hossy. Thats really cute L is saying his own name. T can't say her name so either refers to herself as 'me' or Missy May (as her middle name is May I find I call her Tiera May or Missy May A LOT!!! I really should stop it! lol). It is really cute though, even when people have no idea who it is she's talk about as they don't know her middle name!
Hope everyone is having a great day. I think I'm going to have a Zooper Dooper now... Mmmmmmm
lachlan calls himself gocky or rocky... its very funny... he is mr chatterbox now, and SO affectionate, he could be in the middle of running around and he just comes over to m, and gives me a kiss, its so lovely!! esp cos he was never really a baby who wanted to get cuddles...
Pish - yep, we're finding out the sex! 2 weeks tomorrow! I cant wait!
Saffi - with the panadol thing, she actually hates the panadol brand, but we get her dymadon and she loves it, she just calls it panadol. Have you tried that one? Go L on the toilet training! How is he going today?
Amber - good luck with the photos! I'm sure you'll all look gorgeous!
Julia - great news about the scan results, its such a relief isn't it!
Kaz - glad you got some answers, and hope the treatments help out! It must be hard being so sore and having to look after the other 2 as well! Take care!
Willow - Good luck at the paed tomorrow! Tahlia is much better now, thanks for asking
Trish - the pics of K on fb are so cute! He looks so grown up
Tahlia says her name too, most of the time its associated with not sharing ie she says Tahlias book, Tahlias doll when someone else is trying to play with it. cheeky monkey. Its actually quite weird how she also gets some of the 1st letters of words wrong, she says 'rink' instead of drink, but she can say d cause she says daddy, doggy etc and she also says 'pinished' instead of 'finished' which is also strange cause she says 'funny' so she can make the f sound... weird. There are others too, but they are just the ones I can think of at the moment. Hopefully she'll grow out of it!
Kaz - pelvic instability is really common in/after pregnancy. I am being treated atm for 2 bulging discs in my back and an unstable pelvis. I am wearing a brace at the moment and it is great as it provides a lot of support. Another good thing is that it sucks in all the lumps and bumps. Hopefully you can get some relief soon. Kellie - I haven't been able to get out to the shops yet, so will get some undies on the weekend. Willow - GL for tomorrow. Trish - L's language is developing so fast too. Today we were walking past the library and he pointed to it and said books. He has only every been inside once!
Twilight fans - when are you going to see New Moon? I only saw Twilight on the weekend and I surprised myself by enjoying it.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions for TT. I'm a bit nervous about letting him run around without pants on. If he does do an accident I wouldn't know whether to "blame" him or the dogs LOL.
I don't think L can say his name yet at least I have never heard him. What I find interesting is that any photo of a women (ie in a catalogue) he says Mummy, a man is Daddy, and a baby is Immi. I showed L a page in a catalogue which had both a baby and a boy toddler and asked him where is Lochie? He didn't know which one to choose.
Kellie - I hope you are going to share when you find out this time!
Saffi - Max also HATES the panadol brand with a passion. Would throw up if I tried to give it to him. He is also a fan of Dymadon like Tahlia, it's a bit sweeter and not so gross to taste, maybe give it a try. Do I EVER want to go and see New Moon, but it doesn't come out till the 3rd December here so I'm being totally ripped off. I'm going to go and see it gold class with a friend who is as equally obsessed as me. I got her into the books
Max also says his name...and he can say it properly, it's a pretty easy one though. It's cute when he says it coz he points to himself when he says it like "Max's turn" "Max's Mower". Like you say though Kellie some letters you know he can pronounce but he doesn't say it with some words. He could always say Nanny really clearly, but his "NO" used to be "Doh" (like homer) He's got it right now though. The funniest one I've worked out with him is "Abu daddit" which apparently means, I want a drink! He says LOTS of please and thank you's....LIke just the he just said "more pasta pease" then I get "da doo Mummy". He is edible! Although, he does have a lisp! Anyone else's kiddies have one? He certainly can't pronounce 's' with his tongue behind his teeth IYKWIM.
Although Tiera doesn't actually say her name, he refers to herself as "me" or Missy May (as thats what I call her a lot of time, so I guess she thinks she is saying her name?!), she is saying things like lady and man (and most of the time gets it right, but when we go to a check out she ALWAYS says lady!), she knows all of our 4 dogs names, Tonka, Dodge, Mac and Viper (not easy names but she gets them spot on) MIL's dog Tyson, close family friends Ma Suzie and Uncler Arthur (although she can't yet say Uncle), she LOVES dogs and say mummy puppy.. Peeeeeeeeeeeease, then asks the owner "puppy cuddle"? (I don't much like her going over to other dogs and don't let her do it much but she gets so excited when she can!)
I think she is doing really well with names etc and never really seems to get mixed up, although sometimes says mummy nanny as I think she forgets who she talking to!
I really love all of the talking, just so cute!
I'm sorry it's a selfish one. I'll BBL today or first thing tomorrow personals.
Take care and have a great day all
