Far out Mo...hope your girls are 100% again in no time!
Just wanted to send everyone hugs! I'm going back to Singas this afternoon so I'll be able to catch up properly when I'm back in my own space....and not so tired from the constant visits, late nights and early mornings (gee maybe I should have a newborn already!)
Julia - I hope you have a good trip home! straight back at ya.
Mo - Oh dear sick again, I think you guys have been through enough. So good to hear K is out of hossy and doing a lot better, must have been a bit scarey for you having your bubba in hossy again. Hope everyone is better soon.
Kellie - Thats great T had two days in day care with no accedents! The hardest part with Tiera was when she was playing, she didn't want to stop to go to the toilet. Tiera had been in underwear for two weeks before christmas, but on Christmas day I had her in pull ups which was lucky cuz once she got busy she didn't bother with going to the toilet! It didn't bother me at all cuz I knew the next day we'd e back on track. She's really good now though, barely even any accdents. I'm with you on the winter preg thing, but good thing about being preg in summer is all the gorgeous dresses, I live in dresses now! Not long now hun and you'll get to meet your little creation.
Kazaraz - Congrats on your little man! I know I'm late, but better late than never hey?! Great to hear he's doing so well and settling into the family nicely.
Amber - Hope DH is feeling better.

Not a lot to report here. Tiera is non stop talking! I had to do my groseries this morning and she drove me bonkers with the mummy this and mummy that. I just had to bribe her to be quiet, just for 30 secs! I LOVE that she is talking so well and we have proper conversations now, I just wish sometimes there was a awitch, but my mum has always said that about me so no guessing where she gets in from!!!!
Mo - so sorry to hear that your girls are sick. Hopefully they will get better soon. Julia - safe travels. Tiff - Miss T is growing up way too fast.

Can you believe it, Imogen is 6 months old today. I seriously don't know where the last 6 months have gone. Only have 2 months left of Mat Leave before I have to go back to work Found out yesterday that L's daycare have a spot for her which I am sooooo happy about. The bad news is that it starts in early March which means I will have a month at home by myself. Mmm, maybe that isn't so bad. DH is thinking of taking a few weeks off to spend at home with me.
As for TT its one step forward 2 back with L. He spends most of the day at daycare dry and going to the toilet and doing his business with only the occasional accident. But at home we can't get him onto the toilet. I have tried the reward thing, reading a book to him while he sits on the loo, asking him all the time if he needs to go etc. We have a seat insert so I am wondering if he doesn't like that. They have kid size loos at daycare so wondering if our normal size loo is putting him off??? Thoughts??? Don't like the idea of a potty that needs to be cleaned separately.
Another weird thing, L must have his shorts and shoes on. Yesterday I took his shorts off to change his nappy and then put him to bed in just his shirt and nappy. He came out and insisted that I put his shorts and shoes back on. The daycare staff have also commented about this. Not sure what to make of this.
Anyway, sounds like DH has managed to get M to sleep so might venture back upstairs. Have a good weekend everyone.
Saffi - I found with T at first I had to leave her out of a nappy, no undies, just a bare bum (although she can't dress herself like your little man!) and she would go to the potty (I know you didn't want to hear that), as I just think even with the little seat ontop of the toilet seat , the toilet was just too big and daunting for her. I just left the potty near where she was playing and she'd just take herself then tell me when she was done, after a few days of that she'd say 'mummy wee' as she was running to the potty, then after a couple of weeks of bare bum undies were easy. She will now go to the big toilet with no probs at all, it was only those first few weeks she didn't like it. I find cleaning out the potty only take a few secs (although I only have 1 littly on my hands), I tip it into the toilet, rinse it out, wipe it out with toilet paper then give it a spray with Glen20. All the little kiddlings are different, but thats what worked with us. I just thought it was worth mentioning. GL with it all, I'm sure he's not far off if he's doing so well at DC.
My goodness 6 months has gone super fast! Wowee, sounds like a nice idea DH having time off when she starts DC, it's lovely having grown up time.
I think Miss T maybe a little confused! She seems to think I have milk in my belly along with the bubby. She has been telling my to give her babies milk, then pulling up my shirt and patting my belly saying 'milk mummy bubby need milk'. I did tell her the other day that mummies boobies will make milk when bub comes out, but then she wanted me to put bubby up to my boob to feed her which I must admit I wasn't really comfortable with, so I just told her that I don't have any milk just yet, so I just sat her bub on my belly and T was happy with that. Is it too confusing for her when I try to talk to her about BF??? Maybe I shouldn't be saying things like that until after bub is born and just let her keep thinking I have milk in my belly.... I know it's a strange thing to ask but I'd really like you thought ladies??? Sorry, I know its a little left of field!
Tiff - thanks for the advice re TT. I'm not in any rush to get him trained up and I figure one day it will just fall into place. At least DC is doing much of the training.
Started M on solids on the weekend. Just rice cereal at this stage. L was insisting that the RC was his so I let him have some and he hated it! LOL I'm hoping to introduce M and L to veggies and fruit at the same time. Anything she does he also has to do so I think I'm in with a good chance.
L went without a day sleep yesterday and boy did we have a grumpy toddler on our hands.
Hi Girls, I feel like I have been neglecting you .. as I normally get on to check and post on the belly buddies group to see who else has popped. We had a big run on over half of the group having our babies early and now there are just a few left who are on time or running late!
Pish - I personally would not stress too much. She is just curious and understanding it the best way she can. The things my girls come out with when I was pregnant was always surprising. She us pretty switched on if she can relate to her doll going on your breast like a baby would. I think that is great for a 2 year old. It sounds like you are handling it well by explaining that your milk won't be there until after bubs is born. If you tell her it is just for your special baby, that might help as well if you are feeling uncomfortable with her wanting you to breastfeed her bubby! Hope that makes you feel a bit better x
Saffi - I can't believe your little girl is 6 months already. They grow so quickly! As for toilet training, you are at least doing better than me with Tay. She has no idea. We take her nappy off and she is happy to sit on the potty, but wees as soon as she is off. I guess some kids just take longer, so I will give her a break and try again a bit later. She might get the concept of it then!
Julia - How are you settling back into life in Singapore? I am finding it so much easier to leave and be away from my family than I ever have. Maybe it is because we are so busy with the kids etc now and life is settled for us in Melbourne. How are you coping?
Mo - How are your girls going? You have been in my thoughts!
Kellie - I forgot to say thanks for doing my BA. How are you travelling with your pregnancy? Your time will be here before you know it! Big tip, cover the willy ... never forget to cover the willy! I have been squirted so many times, so hard to get used to!
Amber - We love the name Luka and we considered having it for a girl as well, but using a C so it would be Luca. But we had Kirby Addison picked out for another girl, we loved the name Kirby. Luka was our boys name since we were pregnant with Mia. We did have Kynan for our middle name back then though.
Trish - How is life with having a big school boy? I bet you don't know yourself with the two kids home now during the day. It is amazing how the flow of the day changes when you take one of the children out of the equation. We are finding Tay so different when Mia is at kindy. She acts like the big girl of the house, chat more, is super cute and so well behaved.

Life is a bit busy. Three kids is pretty full on, but I think it has more to do with having a newborn again. They take more planning and time, where as we can just put the girls in the car and go without packing a million and one things. Luka has been great though, he has two 5 hour blocks between feeds last night. I am waiting for the maternal health nurse to visit, as I am hoping that is not too much at this age? It is easy to forget what the girls were like at this stage.
We had some pics done with Sam from BB on Sunday. She has sent a few through for us to have a look at and they are so cute. I have asked her permission to put them on facebook so you can all check them out. So will post them when and if its ok with her!

Kaz - Thanks for your advise, I'll definately be telling her the milk is for the 'special baby', that might help her understand a little more. It is amazing how much they get out of what you say at this age, thats for sure! I can only imagine how busy life is with 3 littlies! It's great you've got such a good baby on your hands and you're able to get a bit of sleep at night, I'd think things would be a lot harder if you had a non sleeper!
