Mo - K loved his first term at kinder! He has made really good friends with one boy which is so cute. His friend's mum and I used to be in the same mother's group when J and her DD were born. They also live on our street so we are having lots of play dates and coffees, it's great
I am going so crazy already with the school holidays! The house is getting trashed non-stop (it's much easier to keep clean with only 2 home full time!) and there is constant fighting, ahhh! They also have lots of fun moments together too which is nice. But days like today when it rains makes it hard to keep them entertained! My dad visited earlier so we all went to the park. The boys are now in their bedroom playing, I have no idea what they're up to and I'd rather not find out .

How's everyone going?
Only one more work day until we start our holidays. Woohoo!!! I'm a bit nervous flying with the kids (first time for M and first time L will remember it). Got the portable DVD player organised and colouring books. Only a short-ish flight so hopefully we won't have too many dramas. Anyone got any other suggestions?
If I don't pop in beforehand, hope you all have a great Easter break whatever you and your LOs are doing.
We are at the airport now waiting to fly to Fiji. Can't wait.
We fly a bit Saffi. My biggest tip would be to take as little as possible. The magic coloring books that have one pen that is clear are great. Less to carry and less to lose! Not sure what your stand is on bottles, dummies , breast feeding and lollipops but all are excellent ways to clear the pressure in the ears on takeoff and landing.
Apps on an iPhone are also great if you have one of those. We play eye spy and sing songs a bit too.
I find the less I have to carry the easier it is as I usually have the girls on my own. But never forget wipes and I always take a change of clothes for the kids.
Thanks Ange. Yep, got the magic pen colouring in books, an extra set of clothes each, and I will make sure we have plenty of swipes, a spew cloth, snacks and drinks.

Maddi has turned into a little terror again.
She is so jealous of Kodi, she hits, slap, punches, kicks & pushes her over. Good thing is Kodi wont take her crap & will give it back to her. Bad thing is all day they fight well not all day but a huge part of the day.
Maddi has also taken to not going to bed & it's a real fight to get her down. Which results in more tanties.
She is so demanding & i dread the thought of Bambi being like her. 1 good thing is they are close & Maddi hates anyone being mean to K. I just wish she would stop the whole jealously thing!
Kodi is doing well she is a dream child compared to M but is so clumsy the girl is always covered in bruises or scratches.
I think half the problem is she has no fear, she will just go full on at everything & anything.
Bambi is also doing well, getting lots of flutters now. I'm 17wks already it's going quick.
Mo.... I am sadly glad to read that as max is being terrible at the moment.... Really really terrible! He is so jealous if Darcie, is just being mean all the time and is just so angry. I know he's dealing with so much, being 'homeless' and all ATM.... But I'm starting to want to give him away. Don't like him at all

I need some opinions.
We were going to fly up to Syd to Visit Mum for her 1yr passing.
It would end up costing over 1k to spend 1 day up there, so we thought instead of doing that, that we go somewhere a long the coast & spend the weekend instead.
1 of the main points of putting her in the ocean was so we could visit any ocean & she would be there.
Anyway i can't decide when we should go. She passed away on the 7th but she was scattered on the 26th. Do we go on the weekend she passed away or the weekend her funeral was?

20 weeks today & got our big U/S next Monday but we wont be finding out Phil really really wants a surprise seeing as this is our last but i'm holding onto a tiny bit of hope he may change his mind on the day
I have this horrible head cold that wont go away & now i have a sinus infection so i'm feeling like crap but i hoping i'll feel better soon. Maddi is doing well getting so big, every night we lay down together & she puts her hand on my belly so she can feel Bambi kick it's so cute. She really loves the idea of having a little sister, i point out to her Kodi is her little sister & she goes "your so silly Mumma, Kodi is a big girl now not a little sister" lol Kodi is such a little girl now & so independent. She has such a cheeky personality she's always making you laugh.
Anyways i hope someone pops in here soon. Otherwise i'll just keep posting to myself & i'm sure someone will pop in one day :P
Hi Mo! Sorry for not coming in more often, there is so much going on right now that I have been a bit neglectful of my Octo-mates . How exciting that you have your U/S on Monday!!! But BOOOO @ Phil for being a spoil sport . All I know is that he/she will be mega-cute like his/her sisters . Come around whenever suits you, there is no rush. It will be great to see you again though! Ange & Kellie, if you're around feel free to come too and we can do a meet up!
AFM - I'm busy with all the usual stuff with the kids/business, etc. I'm doing lots of different activities with K and Alana now that the weather has gone so cold. We're doing a lot of painting, cutting, pasting, drawing and I'm teaching them numbers as we go along. I may as well educate them while we're stuck inside all day LOL!
K is going well, really loving kinder and his good friend there. J is going well, we're having some issues with his reading, but the teachers and DH & I are working intensely to get him further ahead which is great. I'm wondering if he might be a bit dyslexic as he gets some letters mixed up, I might chat to his teacher and the MCHN about it. Other than that he's such a bright kid
Alana is going great, she's so independent though! She insists on walking everywhere rather than riding in the pram and she can chuck a huge tanty when she wants too!! She's such a gorgeous character though, she gets comments about how cute she is wherever she goes and she knows it haha!

Sorry girls have been slack...I cant seem to post from my phone atm And the PC is now down stairs so have not been on much. Move went well LOVE our new home...I wish you could all come and see it and have a weekend with us
