Finally got Dylan settled...My brother & sil came over for dinner and we had pizza - so much for all my exercise - LOL!
Kirsty - Thanks! Sounds like you had a great time away. The hide and seek sounds like lots of fun!! Good luck tomorrow!!! I'll be thinking of you both!! Poor little Gussy....
Missy - Yeah on the knitting - how clever of you! Sorry to hear Callum is upset when you leave him at daycare..sorry no suggestions from me...hopefully it's just a stage...
Nikki - the holiday sounds fun! DH has booked a house down the coast for a week in Jan (or Feb..I can't remember), and I think he is going to ask him mum if she wants to come too. He booked it in April.
Ooh and the investment/renovatting sounds good too. I wish I was a bit more handy and could do things like that.
Well we were up early today. Callum woke crying his little eyes out at 6.30 which is early for him. I tried to put him in bed with us but nope he wanted breccy. Little piggy. He had 1 1/2 weetbix, toast, cheese and 4 slices of manderin. Oh then a bread stick. He didnt have much dinner last night so I think he was abit on the hungry side.
Krisvee I know im so proud of my self with the knitting...hehehe. Have done about 1/4 of Melissa's last night. Was up till 11 waiting for the bad weather to come that we were meant to get but didnt happen. Now its meant to be tonight.
Anyway hope all are well and thinking of little Gus today xxx
I hope no one has been blown away yet in this wild weather. It's at best getting to 11 degrees here and it freezing!
Missy - Benjamin used to cry, kick and cling onto me when I used to take him to daycare in the mornings. Now, he just hits the ground running, waves bye, blows me a kiss and expects me to leave straight away now. When Dh and I pick him up in the arvos, he runs to Dh and doesn't want anything really to do with me. They get over the separation, sometimes it just takes a little while.
Oh Melissa thanks so much for that. I really get very teary when he carries on. Im such a sook...lol
Nope no wind yet as its meant to be tonight now. Wish they would make up there mind. I was up till 11 waiting last night so I guess I will again tonight.
feeling really crappy at the moment, so sick with some sort of flu and to top it off AF arrived early I am so over myself at the moment. DH is also sick but thankfully Jordan doesnt appear to have it. I am thinking we possibly caught it off him from last week.
Kirsty I hope Gus's procedure goes well. Thinking of you all.
Missy good on you for knitting I so dont have patience for that
Krisite a little pizza now and then wont hurt. The gym workout cancels it out.
Cindy I will check and let you know about the BBQ but sounds like it would be fun
Nikki how is school going? Hope the kids are feeling better.
Well take care, off to the docs for a certificate as didnt go to work today.
Missy - Definitely sounds like Callums going through a growth spurt!!
Melissa - It's soo cold. Geez - 11 degrees would be odd for you guys wouldn't it?? We've had a bit of rain today as well - of course it was exactly when I was getting the kids in and out of the car going to the gym...grrr.
Tracey - Looks like we're all getting sick again as well...I think my mums given it too us from looking after the kids Monday morning. I HATE winter with all the sickness that goes with it...I hope you feel better soon! Sorry to hear af arrived today...Sounds like a good idea to take time off and just feel better at home...
Nothing much happening from me...Dylans getting his needles tomorrow which I'm not looking forward too...
deancey oh you poor thing. I really hope you feel better soon. Rest up (well as much as you can) and get well soon.
Krisvee I know Callum loves his food. I just got back from the shop from getting rump steak for my sirfry as he loves that so much. I do it wil chinese noodles and he always wants seconds. Piggy boy!!!lol
Oh and Good luck tomorrow with the needles. Poor little thing.
Hi guys, just logging on briefly. Gus's asleep so I've nipped down to the hospital cafe to answer some emails on their internet computer. He's had the MRI but we won't get the results until tomorrow. Poor little tike really had a rough time. He was vomitting and confulsing so much that he has broked loads of capillaries on his face. His new NG tube is about to go down and that will cause a new round of issues. Thanks for your well wishes. BBL once we're home.
K
Missy - Thats great he loves stir fry! Louis just loves salad! hehe. Hopefully these habits stick when they're a bit older as well!
Kirsty - Big hugs to you both...oh the poor little munchkin...crossing my fingers for a great result tomorrow...I can't imagine how hard it is for you both going through all this...You're such a strong person!!
Kristy - OMG! I hope things improve dramatically for you soon Poor little Gus having to spend so much time in hospital. You have a fighter!
Kristie - No, we had a 9 degree day here last week. I had the luck of being called off that night from work as they didn't need me. It sleeted at about 9pm that night. That was FREEZING! We are expecting more sleet maybe tonight, it's cold enough for it. The heaters are not doing anything for us.
Tracey - Get well soon!
Missy - I used to get teary too, unfortunately that made him worse at one stage. So naturally, I'd usually wait til I got to the car to shed a few tears. Now things are just perfect, except the fact that I saw him get stuck into another kid because he wanted the dinky the kid was on. Mind you, he was the only boy at daycare that day. The group leader says, for his age, he is a lot bigger than the rest of the kids, and that she has to keep close eye on him from time to time.
OMGOsSH poor little Gussy. Im sorry he is having a hard time. Cant wait to see how he is. I hope all will be ok. alot for him xxxxx
Krisvee here's hopeing lol
lol Melissa. The male lion of the pack. How cute. I know I dont let him see me cry cause all hell would break lose and id have to take him home not for him but for me...heheheh
oh missy, dont you just wish they knew how to tell you what is really upsetting them,im sure it is just seperation anxiety, chantelle used to do it too,but like benjamin, she runs in there and puts her own bag away now, unfortunantly it is just instinct for us to read too far into it and start thinking the worst.
kirsty, ohhh i just want to give you and gussy a great big smoochy and hug,god i hope that the news is good and that he doesnt have to go through any more of this, you are all in my thoughts.
well i had a bad day at school today,we were doing calculations, and maths is definantly not my strong point and the teacher lost me at hello.i didnt understand anything she was teaching us and she just powered on and i got left way behind, after class i went to speak to her about it and broke down.i told her that i was srewed, oops, not the best choice of words i know and then i couldnt stop crying, she was very understanding and gave me a book to read on calculations and said that if i fail that subject she will let me resit the exam 100 times if i have to until i pass.i guess i am just getting a bit stressed cos i know that i am going to have to study really hard to get average results in this particular subject and i just dont know how the hell i can find the quality time to do it.i think i will have to put my babies in to creche an extra day here and there.
there is a thread that has started up for a vic meet at melbourne central if anyone is keen
