Kristy - What can I say...there's a brighter side to life, and hopefully you'll all find it soon. He's a fighter, and you are a brave mummy too being there through thick and thin. I'm not sure how I'd handle the situation if I were in your shoes, but I'm sure I'd be in there wanting to know everything and getting answers too. Keep strong!
