Kristie- they arent friends iof they cant have a party for you! THats rather rude really, i cant believe your sisterisnt having one either, how many have you got booked so far?
I have ceom tothe same conclusion about some of my friends, we just arent in the same place at the moment and i know it will change when they all start having kids (my friends are late starters!). it was fine while i was in QLD coz we would chat on the phone every few weeks but i have found that my time up there meant that i now arent included in alot of things (also coz of the girls) but thats fine, i am making other nicer new friends who are in teh same boat and thats great!

Sorry, got to go the little one calls

kristie,we had our first child at 21 and we were involved in a large group of friends,we had to change alot of our ways to accomadate for james and so therefore we couldnt go out with our friends anymore,or we just couldnt as it was always to hard to find any sitters or the thought of getting up tired with a hangover just turned us off,so we drifted and then moved out here so we were too far away.we dont see or here from any of them now but i can assure you that as the kids get older and you meet other parents at kinder and school you do start to meet other parents in excatly the same position,....looking for others to befriend who are at the same stage of life,it can take a whilke to fing good friends that you click with and that your children click with.i have to say that this pre kinder and school age is the lonliest for mums as we are quite house bound,we are actually very fortunate that we have all met each other and clicked through this web site.dont feel to bad i think it is a rather normal stage of life to go through but is just made harder when you dont have a big family so it can be rather sad and isolating.i am there right at the moment.i have a foul headcahe today and cant seem to shake it,i am going to take the bubs for a walk later and am potiing around out the back as it is sooo beutiful today.
i will have a party for you if you dony mind the travel.

    Hi!

Cindy - Thanks! I've only got 2 booked in - yours and one for my aunty!! I'm working on it. One of my other friends is going to have 2 in November - 1 for her friends/family and one for workmates!! She's going to Europe for 8 weeks on the 29th though so I have to wait for her to get back!!
The other thing was that there was a show on channel 7 last night about babies and health problems etc and it showed a labout - they were going on about the ladies stretchmarks and they know I've got them (not that bad but bad enough - lol!) anyway we were chatting about how it doesn't happen to everyone etc and she said that there seems to be too many bad things involved with having kids that it seems unnatural and I just said that I suppose 100+ years ago noone worried about stretchmarks as there bodies weren't on show like they are now and she goes - "except for your husband who ends up getting it elsewhere cos your ugly"!!!! Now I no she didn't aim it at me directly but I felt so awful when she said that...I mean does that mean now my husband doesn't find me attractive?? Anyway...

Nikki - Thanks for your reply also...yeah...that would have been hard at 21! I think it's also harder on us mums as the guys can usually still go out and do as they please iykwim?

Awww...thanks for offering to do a party!!! I would love to do one for you - you're so busy though!! Let me know - maybe we could do one at your house as a catch up as well?? Thank you...
I hope your head feels better and that you made it out on this beautiful day!

You guys are really great!! I certainly am very lucky to have met you all!! I can talk about anything and everything which is really great and I feel like you are all so supportive! Big hugs to you all!

Got Louis hair cut and he looks so spunky! hehe. I can't believe how quickly it grows. Am just about to head off to the park to meet my mum for a walk!

    Chat later!

Kristy - Yay on Louis's haircut! Benjamin's hair is growing heaps again too. I was saying the other day to my mum that he needs another trim.

Tracey - I hope you have heaps of fun in NZ..I love NZ, and I'd love to go on holidays there again. A real holiday would be nice right now.... I was wondering where our Linda had gone, thanks for letting us know.

Benjamin is again unwell. I had my carpet cleaned Tuesday, after the sick sessions that he had all over my carpet. Only to have it happen again this morning. He's managed to keep food down since I got home, which is an improvement, but he's still a little white to look at, so it's all playing it by ear here.

Racheal - Milo is precious...These kids are really showing their characters more and more everyday.

Krisite I am so sorry that your school friends do not show interest in your kids etc. Even though they may not be at that stage of life you would think they would still be interested cause its you??? Like the others said you have us and we love you. I just got in contact with my school friends after 9 years of absense. It was hard at 1st, I was the only mum but 2 others have kids so its easier. I wouldnt write your friends off maybe make the catch up less frequent that way you have more to catch up on. WTF about the stretchmark comments?????? They wouldnt want to see my body as they would die of shock. I guess some poeple are very vain. I wouldnt give up my bubs to have no stretch marks.

Nikki Poor Chantelle I hope she feels better soon. I really hope you can still get away for the weekend you both deserve it. Hope your final exam goes well, I am sure it will.

Cindy Good on you for joining the gym. Hope Charlottes better now after her needles.

Melissa bummer about benjamin being sick again. Hope he gets better soon

Rachel LOL at miloe giggling and saying no to you. They are such characters at this age.

Well we had tea at ILs for BIL and GF going back to perth for a while. Was nice but sad to see them go even if for only a couple of months.
Jamie bought Jordan a new bike/scooter today and he LOVES IT. Its a ride on at the moment and then turns into a scooter later on. He said CAR CAR CAR all night after he got it LOL. He is obsessed with cars at the moment.
Well 7 more days till we go away YEAH the count down is on. Off to work tomorrow though BUMMER
    have a great weekend everyone

    Hi!

It's such a gorgeous day! I hope you're all enjoying it!! I've finally realised why Louis is waking a few times a night again - he has a new toothy peg!! woohoo!!! It's the one next to his bottom 4. Finally tooth no.13 is through! hehehe. I was beginning to think he didn't have any more!
Michaels working today but coming home tonight so thats great. Louis so didn't want him to go.

Melissa - So sorry to hear poor Benjamins sick again...geez just when you thought he was over it too. it's so awful when they're sick...

Tracey - Thanks! Yeah...we only catch up every 3-4 months as it is! hehe. I agree - a few stretchmarks is nothing when we've got our precious bubbas. I know they're no-where near kids yet but I hope they don't have them - theyr'e attitudes towards it all are so horrible. Or at least I hope they mature a hell of a lot more anyway...
Aww how cute with Jordan and his new little bike!! Omg - you must be getting so excited for your holiday!! How long are you going for again?? (sorry if you already said!)

K - I'm off - actually got washing dry outside today - yeah - I can't wait for the warm weather when I can nearly get it all done in a day!!

Nikki I hope Chantelle isf eeling better. WOW you did get a lot done in one day. Bugger you didnt make it to sydney, I hope you can manage a weekend with Grant at some point soon. You certainly deserve it. I am glad Chantelle loves her new bed
Krisite Hope you enjoyed the body shop party you went to. I had one earlier this year, it was a make up one. I also went to a foot/hand pamper one. I am sure you will be a great presenter. I hope you manage to get out and about tomorrow in the good weather.

Well we had our friends little girls 2nd bday this afternoon. It was good. Jordan had a good time, he spent most of the time in this car she was given for her birthday LOL he is obsessed with cars at the moment. I think we will end up getting him something similar for his birthday.
Having an early night tonight off to work tomorrow, only 3 working days left..... YEAH

Trace - Glad the party went well - LOL on the cars. Louis loves them as well. He has 17 matchbox cars now! hehehe. He know the names of the Mustang, Camaro, Hummer as well as a few others - so funny when we get him to show people what some of them are and he rattles off the names!! He's his fathers son! hehe.
Well, hopefully you'll be able to come to Nikki's if we can organise it! hehe. We'll have to do a facial party since you've already had the others!!

Cindy - is it ok if I bring Milo with me to your AP? I don't mind just trying to get organised.

Well we had a fun weekend, Milo redecorated his cot, grobag and himself with sudocream
Then I flooded the laundry soaking his stuff cos I got sidetracked and forgot about it.

So, much fun was had at our place!

Rachel - thats fine! There will be plenty kids for him to play with!

Well we had a busy weekend- i had my neice for the night friday night and all day sat so because th weather was so lovely we went to the park and all that good stuff, complete with icy poles! Sunday we went to a BBQ which was lovely and the kiddies had a ball playing as usual!

Now the week begins again, its kind of like groud hog day around here! I have decided to not do as much cleaning etc as usual coz i was finding i would get into it and then realise that tori was just sitting watching tv all day which isnt ideal. SO we are going to the park more and just playing more together when charlotte is sleeping, tori loves painting at the moment and drawing so thats heaps of fun, i am trying to teach her colours but she just doesnt get it!looks at me like im an idiot coz its a piece of paper not 'yellow' etc.. She will get it one day!

I took my tupperware catalogues to playgroup today and the girls were like vultures(sp?) which is great, two of them are going to book parties which is fantastic, I'm so glad it just sells itself and i dont have to push it on people!

BEtter get going, the girls are sleeping ang being such a nice day i thought i would go sit out inthe sun with my book, thats after i hang the washing out anyway!

    Have a great day everyone!

Cindy - I have heaps of tupperware, but I still buy stuff from time to time. When you have young mother's who really want quality products with a lifetime guarantee, they usually swarm.

Well, Benjamin has Gastro badly. He's got to the stage today where he was fine until this arvo, then off he went again out both ends. Dh has come down with the vomits too now. I'm soldiering on still and handing out panadol and water. I hate it when they are sick. Benjamin has been sick most of the weekend. Today was a good day. I think both will be home with me tomorrow.
