Hi girls, Things are still ticking along with us, sorry I haven't posted for a few days. Although I haven't posted, I have managed to pop in during the past couple of days just to check you are all ok.

We are off for a play date this morning with one of neighbours 2 doors down's granddaughter. The little girls is almost 2yo and her name is Tori (great name huh Cindy! She's also a Victoria, Tori). It should be fun to have them together. Our neighbour has a fabbo Lil Tikes cubby in her back garden and a great fish pond so Gussy absolutely loves when we are there. They have a very patient ****er spaniel. Charlie the dog is so good with the kids that once they get bored with the cubby and pond, he has more than enough tricks to keep them entertained. Part of the plan for today is to get Gus at a little table with Tori and see if peer pressure will encourage him to eat. Gussy's still not eating or drinking. It's almost 6 months of no food or self drinking other than water. Not sure whether Tori will have any great influence on him. Certainly our other friends' kids don't seem to have much luck. Not sure what we are going to do next re getting him interested in eating. Six months off food is a looong part of his relatively young life. Our speechie and OT who we see for feeding help are not really managing any real breakthroughs. Aghhhh he will probably turn 2 still not eating - so we won't be able to have him tuck into his birthday cake! boo hoo.

I was looking back at some of the earlier photos of Gussy on our website last night. Something I haven't done for months. I can't believe how different he looks now. Tis really hard to believe that tiny sickly bubba is our boy. Was a great way to remind myself of our far he's come. I was feeling a little disappointed that he's still only 8.1kg. Then I remember he's more than 8 times his birthweight - so he's doing ok. Anyhooo enough rambling. I need to get our bag packed as we're going straight from our neighbours place to an afternoon medical appointment.

Good luck Missy and Tracey with the BDing this month. I still haven't had a period since my D&C so not sure where my cycle is up to. We're going to wait a month or two though - just to be sure my uterus has a nice thick lining again.

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are having a good week. Hope Charlotte and Dylan are sleeping and feeding in a bit more of a manageable routine for you Cindy and Kristie.

    Speak soon,

    Hi!

Tracey - Glad you had fun at Tap! Yep - we're all right for a visit! We're all a bit zombie like in our house at the moment so just look past the dark circles under my eyes! hehe.
Not long to wait now - I so hope this is your month!

Kirsty - Ooh I hope Gussy wants to eat soon..you poor thing it must be soo hard. Hope you all have fun at the play date this morning!
Thats a great idea to look back at photos and then you can really see all that little Gussy has accomplished! Wow at 8 times his birth weight!!

No, not much sleep last night - but Kirsty - I'm definitely not going to complain to you!! I honestly don't know how you do it!! Your amazing!

Better try and jump in the shower while Dylans sleeping...

Krisite I am so sorry we couldnt come to cisit today I was SO looking forward to it. I dont feel crash hot with this cold and I think Jordan has a bit of it too. He has been a little grumpy this morning so he is already down for a sleep. I hope you manage to get your shower in and have a nice day. I am working FT for the next 2 weeks but would love to catch up after that.
Kirsty SO nice to hear from you and I hope you and Gus have a nice time at your neighbours. Gus certainly has come a long way from birth and you should be SO proud of yourself as you have done a fantastic job with him. I am sure his eating will sort itself out eventually, as I have learnt, you cant rush them. They will do things in their own time.
Nikki I dont know if you want us over tomorrow with our germs. If you still need help I am more than willing to come over but dont want to make the kids sick, especially Harry as he is still quite young and little. Let me know.

Well I remembered we also have our 18 month needles today at the health centre. I am going to cry AGAIN as I hate watching him get them. I am such a sook. I have bought a nice corned beef for tea, seeing at it is cold it will be nice to have that with mash totoes and vegies.
Does anyone else have probs with their bubs ignoring the word NO! I feel like that is all I say to Jordan at the moment as he is into all the cupboards, puts everything in the bin and throws remote etc. He doesnt seem to listen to me either. I try a little smack on the hand or putting him in his room but he just comes back for the same thing. ???????? Dont get me wrong, he isnt at all naughty, its all curiousity but I dont want him to become naughty and I want him to understand that when I say NO he shouldnt do it.
    Any suggestions?

tracey- if you work out how to get the no message through let me know!! Sorry to hear you arent 100% how did you go with the shots? Also i was going to say nikki is off line at the moment so it might pay to give her a text.

Kirsty- how did gussy boy go with tori? did he show interest in eating? is his problem that he just shows no interest in it? it must be so hard and frustrating to see. I remember his pics when he was first born and you emailed me some and he has definately come leaps and bounds since then! Tori is a light weight too, we have her 18month chech next tuesday and i doubt she has hit the 10kg mark!

Kristie- how areyou going today after your bad night? i had a restles one lastnight too.

Well we have had a nbig day today, barney was a hit with the kids - torididnt stop dancing untill we got in the car!
I have just got bacl from the hairdressers and now i have my hari looking fab, i have come home to clean! The outlaws are coming down from the coast tomorrow to stay with us for 4 days! Pure hell!

    Hi!

Not much from me....Dh and Louis are at swimming and Dylans sleeping so I've been able to cook dinner in peace! Woohoo! Managed a bit of a nap this afternoon which was good but I'm still tired. I have to cluster some naps together over the next few days for when Michael goes back to work....I'm getting a bit nervous - I had another cry today just from being tired...

Trace - No stress - sorry to hear your not feeling well...I'm sure we'll catch up soon! Hope you feel all better before work starts ft! Poor Jordan getting his needles - I don't think these ones were as bad as some of the others but it just could be because they're getting bigger. Hope you enjoy dinner - we're just having pasta bake tonight cos it's easy!
Louis doesn't listen to No either...They're just trying to assert their independence the cheeky buggers...hehe! Although I must say with dh being home he listens to him more than he does me...but usually he just cries when dh tells him off and laughs when I do! From what I hear it's only going to get worse as they hit 2 and 3!!!
Got your message about new mcdonalds farm - I could only find shows in nsw though - did you hear it was coming to Melb?

Cindy - Glad Barney was good!! I'm just so over no sleep! I'd like more than 5 hours a night PLEASE! LOL! Yeah on the haircut! I don't know how you manage to do everything you do - your a supermum!!

K - off to eat dinner!

Kristy I read it in the melbourne childs magazine i picked up when i was at jordans needles today. Go to the petie site for info. they have a show at rowville community centre 5th july. I think that would be the closest to you. Hope you find out all the info. I am glad you had a cat nap today. I am sure you will cope well next week.

Cindy I will def let you know if I work out the NO thing cant see it happening though.

Jordan did well at his needles. He cried for a few seconds and then got over it. He has been happy as tonight so I am rapted. Corned beef was beautiful so I am pleased with that.
I think AF is on her way, bugger but will let you know

    Night night

I've been super scarce again, sorry. Still heaps of work going on.

Kristie - sounds like you aren't getting much sleep! I hope it changes soon - you are making me nervous!!!

Emma had her 18 month shots today. It wasn't very nice, but she got over it quickly. We have moved her into a big bed, which has brought a new set of dramas. For the first week it was perfect. She would stay there all night then come in & greet us in the morning. But in the last week she has realised she can get up straight away, so we are trying different things ATM to keep her in bed. And worst of all she is waking at least once a night & taking about 1/2 an hour to settle! Argh!

Anyway, yet again I will endeavour to keep up with you all. I have 2 more preschool shoots to do this month, then I'm pretty much on maternity leave....

Thanks Tracey - I've had a look but it's not coming up yet - I'll have to call up because I will definitely want tickets! Louis will go bananas!! LOL! He just loves them sooo much!
So glad Jordan went well. Hope af stays away!

Linda - Glad your well! Don't be nervous - I'm sure I just have bad sleepers! hehe. Glad Emma did well with her immun. Wow at having her in a big bed! Louis will need to go in his soon also...Hope she settles into it soon!
Yeah on nearly being on maternity leave! Hopefully you'll be able to chill out and rest before bubba 2 comes along!

Cindy - Big hugs! Thats great your mums coming around to help tomorrow!
I think I might get mum to pop around on Monday just in case I don't get a chance to have a shower!
My SIL finishes work to go on maternity leave on the 25th of this month and has offered to have Louis for a bit so I can get some sleep when Dylan does...Hopefully by then things will have settled a little but it's nice to know that the offers there...
Actually I've had offers from my mothers group as well which is really nice...
    Happy 3 weeks Charlotte!

Sorry ladies but no BFP here this month. AF turned up over night. I thought as much last night but kept positive thoughts. Oh well atleast I will get another mopnt with lots of BDing.

Missy I hope you are feeling ok. A friend of mine felt all funny when on the meds for IVF, she said she turned into a real moody cow I am sure you will be fine. I have everything crossed for you.

Linda glad that everything is going well. WOW on Em being in a big girls bed. I have no idea when I will do that with Jordan. I think possibly if and when we need the cot again. Good idea to do it now instead of when bubs comes though. I am sure you will work thru these sleep issues though. Glad work is slowing down for you so you can take it easy before next bubs arrives.

Cindy hope you are getting everything organised for the ILs arrival.

Krisite I hope you got a better night sleep last night. Having your mum over will be a big help to get a routine established with you and the 2 boys. I am sure you will work it all out, it will just be trial and error.

Well today I went and got eyebrows waxed so i feel a little more human now. They were out of control I got a friend to look after Jordan whilst I was there as last time he cracked the sads sitting in his pram whilst they did it. He also pulled half the towels off the shelves. ( I laughed when we left but wasnt whilst we were there)
Jordan has been a terror this morning. He has been chucking some whopper tantis for no reason. He has gone to bed now so I am hoping he will wake up in a better mood as I am off to visit a mate when he gets up.
Well today is my last day off and then I am a FT worker for 2 weeks. ARGH I know I have been talking about this heaps but I am really regretting offering to do this. I dont want to and I really dont think I will have the energy to do it. OH well I will have to tough it out

    Take care XX

    Hi!

Missy - big hugs - hope you feel better soon!

Tracey - Bugger that af turned up! Big hugs for you as well. I'm sure it will happen for you soon! I'm sure you'll do fine working ft - I can totally understand how you wouldn't want to be though!!!!
It's just the age for tantrums unfortunately....can be very frustrating though.

Had Dylans check up and he's put on another 380g so we weighs 3.86kg now!!! Such a big boy! We're doing some shopping this afternoon which will be fun - I get to choose my mothers day pj's and slippers! LOL! I so need some new clothes as well now that I'm not p/g! I have no jumpers for some reason!

    Chat later!

Wow Kristie - he is much bigger than Louis was! From memory Louis & Emma were very similar in weight? Does he look really different too?

    Hi!

Linda - Yeah he's a lot bigger! At this stage about 700g heavier and 3 cm longer!! Umm I think he's similar to Louis but looks more like his Daddy as he has gorgeous dimples! lol. He looks most similar to Louis when he's sleeping but when he's awake he's quite different...a bit early to really tell though iykwim??
