    Hi!

We've just been chilling out here which is nice...boys have enjoyed me being a bit more calm and relaxed as well...Michael is home for the weekend which is a first for a looonnngg time so that should be good -hopefully he'll get the garage organised for packing...He's had a bad week at work though and is so grumpy that I think I'll pretty much stay out of his way anyway...he's so short and snappy sometimes I just have to walk away because I don't feel like I can handle it and I don't want to have silly arguments over stupid things of no importance...Anyway...

Oh so funny today - dylan was watching Diego and when they ask the questions he says "no" to everything..so cute! He has no idea what it means I'm sure but he just fills in the gaps with "no"....then again thats his favourite word at the moment thats for sure! He's such a terror - so cheeky! But he always makes me laugh with his little antics...

Cindy - Boxes would be great! Thanks! My dad dropped over a whole heaps last night but I'm sure Michael will use all those up just on the garage...
Yeah...I spoke to my sister and she doesn't thing they do small amounts of time either - more 1/2 to full days...I'm just going to have to drop everything next term - which won't hurt anyway as we're expecting Ethan and then just reevaluate next year...the only thing that will be a problem is gymbaroo as you can't have the other kids with you...Louis will be in 3yo kinder though so if I'm lucky maybe a time will coincide...swimming I drag them all along too and if he does the sports group thing you just watch them anyway so not a big deal that I have the boys with me...Anyway...I'm sure it will all work out!

Rachael - Seems strange that your getting a bfn and no af - maybe it's just all the stress of the house stuff...
Good luck with it all - hope you get a good offer over the weekend! I wouldn't sign up someone subject to sale of their house...it's just too unpredicable...
Bugger you can't make it next week!

Tracey - Wow - I'm so excited for you applying to uni - I hope you get in!!! I'll be nervous when the time comes too but I'm hoping that being full fee paying I should get in! LOL! They usually like people that pay but you never know...Have fun at the open days!
Glad you got some chill out time yesterday...
In regards to feeds etc I'm probably no help either...my boys have always been constant feeders and cat nappers so I was probably still feeding 5 maybe even 6 x a day still at that age...I don't think my boys have ever gone 5h between feeds/solids except for overnight - LOL!

Alex - the only reason they don't overlap more often is because most days Louis doesn't sleep at all! LOL! Then today Dylan was asleep before lunch until nearly 2pm and then I had to drive my mum somewhere and Louis fell asleep in the car so from about 2.30ish and then I woke him at 4.30pm! So messed up...LOL!
Ooh I'm so jealous your going on holiday! I started working out what it would cost for us to go to qld for a week next year and I came up with like $2500 just for flights, car hire and acc...Crazy!! We don't usually holiday so it sounds like so much money! I was thinking maybe it would be cheaper to drive but with fuel the way it is I'm not so sure...Hmmm don't know what to do really...I really want to go to the gold coast with the kids...If we drove we could drive straight up and then come back down via the nsw coast or something...There's nowhere really else that I'd want to go right now but by the time we add on spending money/food etc we'll be up near $4000!! just for a week! Crazy!
How are you guys doing it?

Nikki - how are you? How's the house stuff coming along? Are the kids well?

Can't wait to catch up next week! Hope you all enjoy your weekend!

kristie good to hear from you.
tracey i agree with cindy i have demand fed all of my kids, when they are hungry they will ask for it.
racheal i hope you can convince neil to ttc sometime soon.
tracey do you think you will be able to manage work and uni and 2 kids,it is very hard studying, the exams and huge amount of asignments does put alot of strain on you,any chance that jamie can hold the fort finacially while you study?

kristie it cost us about 5k each time we have gone to qld.

Tracey - just a quick one for you - one option i have been looking at for midwifery is studying through UNISA = they do it part time and externally - they even work out for you where you can do your placements in your state - you have to go to campus 3 time a year for lab work but thats pretty much it - it is hard to get in to though- i am going to contact them again next week to see what i will need to do for it - the peson i have been talkoing to far about 18 months there said she usualy can get you in to nirsing externally etc and she makes sure you just do the subjects needed for midwifery and tried to get you accross to it as soon as a place comes up or you can do the double degree but you can choose how may subjects you do at a time - i think the minumum is 2 subject a semester! I will keep you in the loop for that one too

Just got home from a tupperware party and am sooo worn out from talking! It was a crappy party but looks like i might have 2 girls wanting to start up!

ok so i went to VU open day and it was full on. They advised against doing the midwifery course if you had kids under 5 as it was a full on course, the lady was really nice but the hours are very demanding and its not offered part time. Nursing seemed ok however hours still intense although you could do the lectures online which would help with not being at school too much.
I did however speak to the TAFE dept about cert in nursing ( div 2 ) and think that this is the way to go for me. It is offered PT on mon-tues over 2 years and this way I can still work and be with family. So i am going to apply for that but still attend ACU open day next week and see about PT midwifery and nursing.

SO I am overwhemled with all this info and choices but feel as though TAFE may be the better option.

Hope you guys are enjoying the weekend.

Nikki its $877 for the course which is good even if i do it part time over the 2 years. If the books are the same i will gladly buy them off you. I will be doing it at sunbury if i get accpeted. I have to pass the pre test 1st, just brushing up on maths skills. I will pick your brains for assigments etc. I a, so excited i cant stop thinking about it.
