just quickly as bub is stirring and I think she's going to wake up...

Joh I live in Brissie atm and I think you mentioned that you did too? I'm more than happy to meet up if you want as Liberty doesn't sleep that great either so I know where you're coming from either that or I'm so sleep deprived I'm making up things in my head as to where people live haha

Ohh, I would love to go to the meet up too, but it would be way to expensive from Perth.

Yep, Ashlyn is getting teeth too. The 4th top one is on the way through, so she will have four top and 2 bottom. And she said her first word yesterday. Of course it had to be Dadda . She is such a daddy's girl.

thanks ezymay (cute name btw) for letting me know about the GC meet up. I'm planning on going in the day to one of their more family-friendly outings. So excited and bugger that its a year away - r u coming mummato2??

no worries Jo about how long it takes to get back to me we've had a crazy week anyway and are going to in-laws this weekend so I won't be on the net from thurs until sun.

wow captain that's a LOT of teeth!! Liberty still has 2. And how cute about Ashlynn saying dadda

yay Sue and indie for teeth! And wow Sue the weight loss sounds great well done

so glad to hear that you nt scan went well Lee, hope the sickness lifts soon and that you start feeling the second trimester surge of energy soon

    time to vent now..
Liberty has been doing that choking thing again so we got an urgent appt with the pediatrician and that's tomorrow - finally a dr listened and gave me a referall and we saw Robyn Noble today from Bayside Breastfeeding Clinic who is supposed to be a wonder with reflux - not sure yet as she recommended a really strict crazy diet for me (I already eat gluten free but she says dairy and soy need to be cut out too and soy makes up a big part of my diet) as I'm still breastfeeding her and I'm starving hungry but its only for a week to see if Liberty's reflux improves. I will keep you posted (not on my apparent hunger but on her reflux haha).

As for me I am having an ultrasound done on monday to check for cysts and endometriosis as I've had a lot of bad cramps, pain in the abdomen when DTD, etc. Bugger.

and still no job yet for brett

but I just keep on telling myself that things can only get better from here...

Oh Lauren, it does'nt rain it pours... Gee hope Liberty is okay, and very hard on you gotta laugh at the hunger issues re you I guess you want an answer but scary thought that cutting those things out will make a difference to her...will be an ongoing issue if thats the case???

Ezymay, its cute what does it stand for??

Captain I thought the teeth were amazing as well,Poppy has still got 2 bottom ones.

Sue great weight loss, I did'nt find it too hard the first few weeks but then started to struggle, especially in the arvo.. I found I added a bit more to my diet and actually started to lose more, must have made my body go into starvation mode and it decided to sit and wait to conserve energy!!??

Anyway off to bed for me, i do this every night and regret it in the morning when I feel sooo tired. Or worse through the night when someone nearly always wakes up!!!!!!!

too true pam! what diet are you on btw? Liberty still only has the 2 bottom teeth too.

well we went to the pediatrician today and he said that its definently not related to my diet. so yay for that! she's getting an x-ray with barium swallow in about a month but he said that its very common in reflux babies and the x-ray is a just-in-case but it should just resolve itself with time. so for us once we get this x-ray done for her and one more visit to the doctor and then i suppose we're just going to have to decide we've done everything we can and just hope she grows out of it.

oh and Liberty took a few steps yesterday!! and both dh, my mum and i were there for it. i had her a little bit away from my mum and let her walk to my mum and then let go of her and she walked a few steps by herself before grabbing onto my mum. really need to get busy with child-proofing now!!

    Hi girls!

Thanks re the new name All my friends kids call me Ezy and friends call me Ez and my DH calls me Esme( as in Esme Watson from the show A Country Practice cause I'm nosy and like to know what's going on) so its a combo of that.

Lauren- Yay for Liberty!!! Steps how exciting but big hugs over her reflux and Bretts job. It will all be ok you are very positive and that helps.

All these teeth..Emily still doesn't have any!!! I'm starting to think she never will! She has a very yucky looking eye atm. My pharmacist friend brought me some ointment so hopefully that clears it up! She is a GREAT friend to have!

Hey lovely mummas!! Oh wow a lot has happened in here and I was planning on sitting down and reading it all but alas Ashton has woken AGAIN! Poor little mite is teething

So a quick one here, glad I am a fast typer!! Well I have moved. Finally got packed up and moved 300km to the top of Tassie, settled in, net connected and the kids school organised! Everything is great and I am so glad that I have finally moved away from Ashtons loser father, and closer to the boys dad as him and his partner are wonderful to the boys and I It was testing at times with Ashton and trying to pack, clean etc but lucky for me the boys father drove from Launceston to Hobart with a truck and a friend of mine Mark came and stayed to help with a week of holidays from his work. It's amazing who steps up when you really need it.

My poor man is teething. Getting the 2 top ones and they are so red and swollen, he is miserable. Making for a very clingy babe. Hopefully they pop through soon though cos I am SOOO over it!
He took 5 steps!! Yup he has been taking up to 3 for a couple of weeks now but this time I nearly died. We had a check at the health clinic today, 11.1kg and 75.5cm. Wow. He is such a happy boy though, getting into everything, says a few words now... muma, dada, buba, up and more (usually for food lol). He is super cute and I am totally in love still. He is still feeding but we have had a couple of full nights sleep, rare and far between but I am hopeful lol

WEll better go. He isn't happy with me right now leaving him in his cot crying lol BBS to catch up on what's been happening!

Hello and sorry I haven't posted for a while. Just finished my second week back at work and feel absolutely shattered. Car hunting has been a drama filled saga but think I may have found a new chariot to replace the one that I totalled last month. Waiting on it to be freighted to me from Tamworth.

Took Matthew to the baby clinic this afternoon and at 9 months 1 week, he weighs 10.51kg and is 75 cm long. Has only just started crawling this week after rolling his way to where he wants to be and his 8th tooth is finally up properly. He has four on top and four on the bottom and is chewing his teething rings (and everything else) with great gusto. He seems to be coping okay with being at the sitters. Better than I'm coping with being back at work!

Will write more next time I'm on, must get to bed, eyes are stinging.

Five steps! Go, Ashton, go! I know, Mel, I'm amazed at how quickly Matthew's teeth have come through. I have a feeling there are a couple more on the way. Fun brushing his teeth. He thinks it's hilarious. I have one toothbrush for me to use and one for him to chew. I don't think he'll catch up in size with Ashton! Still, he is doing well. He's not far from being half my height. OMG. Also, congratulations on your big move! Huge effort!

Jo, I hope you have a very relaxing time with your Mum. It was so lovely when I had a month with mine in Hong Kong earlier this year. Hope you get a chance to relax and enjoy yourself. Sounds like you need a good break.

Lee, that's fantastic news about the scan!

Erin, your new name is very cute! Would love to get to the Gold Coast meet up but not sure where I'll be next year. I have a transfer application pending and fingers crossed.

Sue, the new kitchen sounds heavenly. I'll be glad to be out of teacher housing. It's pretty basic. For two years I only used the stove top because I couldn't bear to use the oven as it stank of mice. Was very grateful for the new stove when it arrived at the end of last year. Yay for Bella getting her first tooth!

Niamh, glad you've got the bullying sorted out. It's a terrible thing. Good idea to stay on alert. Hope Eireann is back to her happy self now her teeth are through.

Lauren, must be a relief to know it's not your diet. How long does it take to grow out of it? Yay for Liberty taking her first steps!

Tenille, glad I'm not the only one with a toothy child, lol! Hope you hear "Mumma" soon! Matthew's babbling away and sounds like he's saying Dadda but with no Dadda here, I'm guessing it's an accident!

Donna, thanks for adding me on Facebook. Molly is such a cutie! Love the photos.

Hello Jen! Congratulations too on your big news!

Kerry he is only half a cm off height and half a kg too lol

Ashton has stopped growing so much which I am loving. No more stressing over clothes and nappies for a while. He is slimming out now he is more active and hopefully it's the same in the next few months.

I can't believe our babies will be a year old soon!!
