ANNA!!! Have a wonderful day today.

Bushland Beach is a beautiful area. And yeah, we drive past it on the way to Townsville. I believe (I may be wrong though) that Rikki's family live at Bushland Beach. It's either there, or another beach which starts with a B.
We've started thinking of Nina's party. Have the caterer organised. It won't be full on catering, just someone who knows what they're doing to organise all the food and drinks. We're buying a trampoline for Nina. Just have to work out what sort of theme to do for her. AND, I'm going to attempt a cake. I'll have to practice beforehand, as I suck at baking cakes. I even ruin packet mix ones!
Where are you having Jetts, at your place? We'll come (if we're invited )

meg - glad to hear your aunt's op went ok. Fingers crossed she gets good news next week

Well my grandfather had another heart attack last night. Second one in 2 days. He has Prostate Cancer, and has been having mini strokes on and off for the past 6 months or so. We're not sure how advanced the cancer is, but we think my grandparents know, but are keeping it to themselves. They were planning on coming up here in November for my sister's 30th, but surprised us in May after I'd had Emily. They did that as he won't make it to November. It was so sad saying goodbye to them when they left. Nina absolutely adores him, and he adores her. The whole time they were here, she'd drag him outside to go play with her, calling him 'poppa'. Hopefully though he won't be in pain too much longer.

Yep we're having Jetts at the new house. Its a "In the Night Garden" theme, Im even going to get some cutouts done of the characters so they can "play" in the night garden! Ofcourse your invited! I would be honoured if you came and Im betting Nina and Jett would have a ball together! We might be grey haired by the end though lol I am not baking the birthday cake, I only just marginally make normal cakes edible so Im going to buy a mudcake or something nice probably and use the ITNG cake topper I bought off Ebay.
Sorry to hear about your grandpa

Yeah Im up early on my birthday. Stupid dog wont stop barking and I needed to pee. Once Im up Im up Oh well means I shower in peace and quiet.

Oh Jodi I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

AnnaT - Happy birthday hun!!! Don't get too stressed out at the toy sales Good luck with the move - and good luck with your new little mission (lol you keep changing your sig!!! Hard to keep up! ).

Laurin - What do you think you're having? We all seem to be half and half on it.

Re: Birthday parties. Well I think I told everyone awhile ago that we're having a teddy bear's picnic for Ambah's b'day. We've pretty much planned what's happening, will start working on it a bit more after Bre's b'day (the 28th of this month). And it seems like almost all the mother's at the party are going to be pregnant!!! SIL is due in September, a good friend of mine is due in October, one of the mum's from Kindermusik just told me she's due on Christmas day and I'm pretty sure one of the other mum's will be starting TTC soon enough!! Ok, well that's about half anyway. Hmm, I'll have to keep that in mind while I'm finishing up the menu.

Well, the countdown to Ambah's second b'day is on, and I think our breastfedding journey is coming to an end. My milk supply has severely dropped, but I don't think she's gonna give up without a fight Guess what she's doing right now (with her freezing cold hands on my belly!!!! GRRRRR!!!!) I'm kinda sad about it, but not too sad. I'm really happy we've made it this far, I just hope the transition is smooth.

Ok, better run - she's making this very difficult atm.

ETA - Oh and Meg, that's great news the surgery went well. I hope all the test results are good

Jodi- Thats awful, whats he like at the moment? Do they think he'll make it out of hospital? My Pa never used to let anyone in on his health conditions, think they just don't want to upset anyone. Hopefully they are looking after him well and providing adequate pain relief.

AnnaT- Hope you have great day and get spoilt! (Buy yourself something at the toy sale!Lol) So are you all repacked after they delayed your move? Clarks shoes you can get from Myer and I think other shoe shops should have also.

mum3girls- It is sad when BF journey ends, you've done so fantastically getting this far. I cried when Ash gave up, there is that bit of grieving I think.

We haven't even thought of Ashleigh's party esp theme wise! We'll prolly just have BBQ again and thats it. I don't know if we'll do a theme til shes bit older, maybe 3rd or something.

I'm very excited cause bought Ash all these pumpkin patch stuff off there online store and it arrived! Got such good bargains cause I just bought all the sale stuff then I got a further 20% off that. Love there clothes just can't afford full price.

Jodi - I am so sorry to hear about your Grandfather, even though the circumstances are bad I hope he is comfortable and not in much pain - thinking of you and your family.

AnnaT - big Happy Birthday to you, hope you have a great day. Yay on getting a lovely house to live in, that is great, you sound really organised with Jett's birthday party. We havn't even thought about Rylee's yet.

Meg & Shell - these Mother's Groups are hit and miss aren't they whether mum's get along.....it is hard isn't it.

Shell, I bought Rylee some pumpkin patch clothes in the sale, I loooove their clothes tooo, but think at full price they are a rip off, but in the sales they are great.

Mum3Girls - you have done a fantastic job on breastfeeding Ambah, that is great, I am sure it is sad for you now it is coming to an end.

Meg - glad your Aunties' op went well, fingers crossed for the results on Monday.

I had my scan this morning, all is looking fine. It is a boy - I have to say as soon as I left the place I burst into tears - I feel like a real b*tch - I just thought I was having another girl and now I will have to pack away all of Rylee's pink clothes, etc, etc. This makes me sound horrible and I feel guilty for being upset, I just wanted another girl, what can I say, I am sorry if this offends anyone.......but I will move on, it will just take a few days for it to sink in.

Okay, sorry about my miserable post.

Laurin - Don't feel bad honey. Aaron didn't talk to me for a couple of days after we found out Ambah was a girl (we both thought she was going to be a boy, and he had really wanted a son). I was upset too as I had wanted to give him a son, but of course now we wouldn't change for the world. It's perfectly ok to wish for a specific gender - you won't love the baby any less. Congrats on your healthy blue bundle of joy though, I'm sure he will bring you and your family lots of years of joy.

laurin - don't feel bad for feeling that way. I too burst into tears when I found out Nina was a girl. I desperately wanted a boy. It didn't take long though for it to sink in, and for me to perk up again. If you want to, there is a private forum you can go on, on bellybelly for this.

Thanks for your kind words re my grandfather. They are trying to make him as comfortable as possible. Very unlikely that he will leave hospital, but we're not too sure. It's a shame that they live so far away, and being winter, it's freezing out their way. So not really a good time for me to go out there with the girls.

Jodi, maybe Nina can draw him a picture, or you can take a photo and send it to him? That kind of thing might let him know you're thinking of him.

Laurin, it sounds pretty common to be disappointed. Just ask any mum of boys though, boys are always mumma's boys. My little ones are massive snugglers, always come for hugs and kisses, and my dh is from a family of boys and they're pretty tight with each other. Plus, I always wanted a brother, now Rylee will have a bro to look out for her, that's pretty special.
I'm definitely NOT saying that you're feelings aren't valid, of course they are, just wanting to reassure you that boys are excellent and when you have your little guy you won't be able to imagine things any other way.

Speaking of little guys, Si's having a whinge.

Oh Laurin Dont worry about feeling the way you do, I remember having a little cry when we were told Rip was a boy. But I love him anyway, he is such a lovey and totally attached to me. Have to ditto Nelle though, boys are Mama's boys to the max! You could ask to join the forum specifically for this issue if you want to vent about it to people who understand.

So $300 later the boys have just about all their pressies for christmas and birthdays. Got some cool stuff Ry is dying to play with. I got myself some nice summery clothes for my birthday and I think Ry is getting me some cool sunnies. All in all an ok day but Im knackered from getting up early so its time for a nap methinks.

    Hi Everybody,

Beatrix - Well done for braving the toy sales! I went in and pretty much went out again. There really wasnt anything i wanted badly enough to line up for.

Laurin- I totally understand. I was soo relieved when we found out Tiana was a girl. This will sound ridiculous to everyone but I am petrified of having a boy. I just don't think I would know what to do. I am one of four girls and didnt grow up with any boys around. It actually has stopped me from more actively trying for a second. I am a bit embarrassed about it. Ok what I mean is don't feel bad, there are many of us who want a particular sex - but it dosent mean we love our babies any less.

AnnaT- Good luck with the move.

Jodi - Emily is beautiful, so dainty and pretty!!!

Well not much happening here. Just working and TIana has another ear infection. One more and we must see the ENT specialist.

    Hope everybody else is well!

Are you serious? I looked at the line and walked back out again. No way would Tiana sit in her pram for that long - even with Tiny Teddies!

MJ is looking very cute! Do all your girls look similar or are htey all different?

Yeah i was suprised I bet yesterday was really busy, but being second day of the sales and first thing in the morning

Umm they all look very similar as babies!!

hmm interesting outfit your little one has on!!

Does anyone else have a nuddest??? Annika takes off all her clothes, she even did it at day care today. When they checked on her at nap time they found her starkers!!! and she did it all in 5min cause they ahve to check the babies every 5min

She likes to dress up, preferably in our clothes - daddy's undies and my bras are her favourite!!

I know what you mean about the nudist child, she is more happy with no clothes on. I spend half an hour after baths and change time trying to get clothes on and if she is in something that is easy enough for her to get off she strips!!

nelle - that's a great idea. I'll get Nina to do a picture for him. Plus it'll keep her entertained for a while.

marnikat - thanks for that. Emily is a very dainty isn't she. People can always tell she's a girl, even if she's wearing blue!

beatrix/anna - great score at big w!! I too went today and layby'ed a few things for the girls. It's so hard to get something for Emily, because we already have everything. The girls are going to be a little spoilt at xmas, but that's ok, it didn't cost too much.
Nina loves nudie time. But she doesn't take her clothes off herself. And Nina loves my bras too. Weird huh.
