    Yay Annie that's great!

:P Annat, you can definitely be a name stealer if you like, it's not like we're sisters or anything. Besides, I stole it from the bible!

Ewww at Nina's brekkie Jodi! My sister used to have honey and vegemite sandwiches (mum says she still does!).

Well I'll keep that in mind then Nelle, thanks I think Silas goes alright with Jett and Ripley as a sibling name. Super cool too which is what we aim for.

I made a HUGE decision today. We've used up all our savings on our new car and I really want to try and save save save so we have something in our account in case of an emergency.

Ive decided to stop seeing an OB and stick with midwives and the brand spanking new birthing centre up here. I'll be the 30th woman to give birth there if they accept me! Im at no higher risk than any other mother for the same complications I had with Ripley and I have a minute chance of getting pre eclampsia again, so the midwives are pretty sure I'll get the ok from the OB that helps them decide low-risk patients to stick with the birth centre. It will save me anywhere from $70-$110 a month/fortnight and the $1600 management fee for the birth which seems pointless for me to pay when my births are ridiculously easy and quick. I feel so excited about it, it feels so right to use the BC and hopefully have the waterbirth I have always wanted Worse case scenario it goes bum-up and I have to see an OB through the public hospital. And it isnt really a "worse" case at all.
Unless I chuck a Nelle ofcourse which is entirely possible

    Hi all,
I have only really had time to scan the posts.

I am glad Alexander's surgery went well.

Belle - for some reason my comp won't let me open the pics.

My mum has a Wii fit, and loves it. I have had a few go's and it is pretty fun.

    Interesting breakfast Jodi.

Maz - sounds like you have a lovely little boy.

J has decided that he hates vegetables. He used to be such a good eater, and now he is so fussy. I end up having to sit there and feed him. Tonight I even hid some of the vegetables mashed into his yoghurt (that he ate!!)

Maz- Thats fantastic, its great to see what a great tight website this is and how everyone wants to help.

Caddie- Yay thats fantastic bout the baby stall! Sounds like it'll be great for business.

Meg- Lol, we try hide under mash potato or tell her its mushroom (which she loves) so she'll open her mouth and then we laugh and say tricked you its cauli or whatever. Drives me nuts sometimes. Some days shes loving veg other days i get so frustrated.

Belle- Yeah Ash is another NG fan, personally it drives me nuts! I did see an ad for the dolls, I'll have to get her one when they come out. Those links to photos won't work but I did go into the gallery to have look, very cute both of them! Julia has grown heaps since we met guess that was quite awhile ago now!

AnnaT- Hope birth centre works out for you, your labours have been pretty good so should be right. Obs are so expensive, we go public just can't afford!

We got our gas bill yesterday $260! So no more ducted heating I can tell you, more layers of clothing and blankets! We were quite in shock, never had gas that high!

Ah thanks Maz but I doubt we'll have something decided on anytime soon. Although I did mention Silas to Ry last night and he said "Oh yeah thats cool isnt it?" so maybe its a go-er. Im still holding out hope that I wont need it because she'll be Carys but its wishful thinking on my part I reckon

    Hi everyone!!

Caddie - That's great news, good luck.

Bea - Have fun with your WiiFit, I love ours! Hope your console is in.

Annie - Brilliant news!!! How's the little man going today?

    Maz - Yay!! That's a brilliant total.

KK hasn't arrived yet, hoping it comes today or tomorrow.

Well, we're on the countdown to the big girl's birthday!!! 2 more sleeps And now I'm crying about weaning. I'm all confused, she hasn't cut her feeds down any further (still 3 a day and 3 at night at least). I've posted a thread in the breastfeeding forum, I'm just so disappointed that the end just doesn't seem like it's going to be as positive as I would have liked

Sharle, you've done soooo well for her, I'm so proud of you guys. Amazing. Perhaps you can offer her a drink of breastmilk from a cup instead of the boob at feed times, and then start to replace that with other milk?

Shell, I am dreading our gas bill.

Chrissy posted, by the way. (Pop in HERE woman! :P)

Snotty kids here. Thank goodness for tissues, mum brought us 3 boxes of aloe vera tissues, bless her. I think my sinus area might be a bit inflamed but I'm okay otherwise.

    Hope everyone's well.

Maz - I think I'm feeling really guilty because of people struggling to breastfeed in that first year (I definitely have been there done that too) and here I am kinda complaining about her not weaning at 2YO. I'm just so friggin tired though. I haven't had a good night's sleep since sometime in 2004 (plus I've got a shocking head cold at the moment which isn't helping with a storm coming this arve here, so it's muggy as hell right now). I kinda go between wanting to keep going and stopping, and the 'support' (for lack of a better word) that I'm getting IRL is either along the lines of my sister telling me and Ambah that she's gonna chop off my boobs if she keeps feeding after her birthday (gee, she's got a great sense of humor hey ) and then recently I've been talking to a few people that I know that have said that they breastfed their youngest ones until they were nearly 3 - which makes me feel even more confused.

Oh, and yeah I know my KK should be here soon (I know it was sent, a little birdie told me ). I'm impatient though hehehe, I can't wait. I'm so excited about her birthday!!! Doing a trial run of her cake tonight, so fingers crossed it works out.

Nelle - Ambah's been drinking cow's milk since she turned 1, I think boobies are mainly a comfort thing (and she tells me quite often 'I love booby mummy, yummy booby soooo cute!!!). Aaron's been putting her to bed at night, she'll take a cup in with her but doesn't drink any of it. He was telling me all he does is stroke her hand and say shhh and she's asleep within 5 mins!!!!

Annat, I reckon if I go for a third it'll be a boy, so never mind if you have a boy!

Remind me again which games you got Ness?

River can work the microwave now - think that comes from his Oma letting him press 'start' on his dinner. And there was a spill in there, so I opened it and smoke pours out - shut it again quickly.
He's a bit of a krang today actually, looking fwd to getting him to bed after ITNG. :P

ETA: He's pushing all my folded washing off the table and turning the xbox on and off while I'm feeding Si! Aargh!! Anyone want him??!
