Ness - that's great you're ready to get out there and start meeting some new guys. The first couple of times you have no kids overnight you'll walk around the house lost

maz - oh that sucks about Meateauz going backwards. Here's hoping when he fully recovers from being sick, he'll have enough strength to catch up to where he should be. He's a fighter remember.
What a shame about last night. Did the boys have a good time? Do you think she was tired and that's why she was playing up?

anna - close, but not close enough hey Can you give us a hint? You know we won't let you keep it a secret till he's born

Took Nina to see some Christmas lights last night. She's was so excited as there were a heap of kids running around. I had a lady come up to me and ask how old she is, and when I told her, she couldn't believe how well she's talking. I thought her vocabularly was normal, but she reckons she's advanced But YAY anyway!!
I hurt my neck last night in bed, and it's killing me this morning. Might have to raid the medicine cabinet for something to fix it.

Caddie- Great that you got a day to yourself, and that their Auntie got to spoil them.

Maz - It sounds like you have a lot on your plate at the moment. You are such a superwoman, I know whatever is thrown at you, you will work through.

Ness - It will be nice for you to have a complete break, and good that MJ can spend some more time with her dad.

Annat - We will all be scratching our heads on the name!

Off to the last swimming lesson of the year. It is raining agin here. It is so lovely to have the rain, and our grass has turned green again!

ETA - Jodi - I meant to say J LOVED looking at Christmas lights. He kept saying "ohh, wow!"

and Chrissy - I also meant to post ages ago to say that I think the Phillip Island ride is a great idea.

Ness - good luck with the move and everything

Maz - You sound like you need one as well! Isnt it funny that as a kid we are so excited about school holidays but as parents we could probably be happy if they didnt exist Im just lucky that Dh has a majority of the big school holiday break off so I can run away if need be in a few years time, or atleast delegate some of the whining to him.

Cads - what an awesome surprise for your parents and YAY for some you time!

Meg - have fun at swimming today! Glad your enjoying the rain!

Ok so the new name we decided on is.....................
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .................River Stellan James!

I thought on it for a few days and we had a list of about 5 first names that I liked way better than Gage, and the more I looked at River the more it 'fit' for us as a family. Dh just gave in cause he knows I always get my way. Dubious at first about two R firstnames but I get everyone's names mixed up already so decided it didnt matter I would have used Stellan as the fn but Ry says its too 'out there' (puzzles me that, seeing as Ripley certainly isnt mainstream). River fits our unique style, it isnt in the Top 100 and never has been, easy to spell, sounds great with the boys names and our lastname and I wont mind yelling it 200x a day in a years time haha
And its also very cute that he will be born in water with a water-related first name (Im a dork to think of that arent I!)
So we'll have two Sept siblings sharing names with a Sept 06 kiddo

Anywho should hop off and do things, might take the boyo's swimming this arvo after they wake up from their naps.

I got the River part right I think it's a great name Anna! And most importantly, you and Ryan love it.

meg - woohoo on green grass! How was swimming? Nina's swimming lessons finished last week.

caddie - what a great surprise for your parents!

How are all the kids reacting to Christmas coming, do they sort of understand what's going on?
Nina is very excited, she keeps saying 'santa coming soon. Santa in sky, bring presents for Nina and Emily, sooooon'
So far she's been really good with the presents under the tree. She hasn't opened any of them. She knows who's is who's, and I reckon it'll be her giving them out on Christmas Day!

Anna - Great name! But I thought Gage was great too.

Jodi - Tiana loves the lights too. When we are driving all you hear from the back is 'pretty lights, oh more pretty lights!' She isnt as good with presents though. If i had any out she would be opening them!

Maz - I'm sure Mat will catch up fast. He has done so well, he will continue to do so I'm sure.

Caddie - What did you do with your day to yourself?

Ness - Hope the move goes smoothly!

Chrissy - Hope that the kiddies are behaving and the bike is coming together!

Not much going on here. My sister is home from the Navy for christmas and automatically got roped in for babysitting duties! We are having xmas lunch at mums but opening presents here in the morning.Tiana has destroyed the bottom half of the tree there is like 4 decorations left within her reach!!!

John has been away all week, his birthday was yesterday so we will get takeaway tonight and play the Wii (his present). He is away again Sun but will be home Tues I think. Just in time to put the tramp together on wednesday... I am really excited about giving it to Tiana! She will love it.

What is everyone doing for Xmas day?

    How is everyone else?

She's going to love the trampoline. We got Nina one for her birthday, and we're on it everyday. She's pretty good at doing different bounces now.

For Christmas Day, we're going to my parents for lunch. We usually have it here, but it's too much hassle with the 2 kids this year. Apart from that, not much planned. Probably just relaxing in the pool. It's usually one of the hottest days of the year here on Christmas Day, so as long as we're in air con, or a pool, it doesn't matter
