Belle - I hope your mum is alright.

Has anyone heard from Shar? It has been ages since she has been on!?
I'm around, just not a great deal to say at the moment.

Hope all the new bubbies are settling in well, takes awhile getting used to having more than one to look after, but it all becomes a distant memory soon enough

Good luck with the next few weeks AnnaT - looking forward to hearing the good news

Welcome Mich! You're more than welcome to join in, we're a lot easier to keep up with now that we don't go through 3-5 pages of chat a day

Rach - It's a bit warm here today, we had that really cool spell during the cyclone watch and afterwards, but warmed up enough that we were in the pool again over the weekend.

Well, playschool's just about to finish, so better get Miss A organised for the school run - love to all mwah!!

ETA - Oh hey Caddie!! Didn't see you there, broke my glasses on the weekend (as everyone might have surmised by my little rant on FB), was lucky enough to get into the optometrist this morning, and have disposable contacts to get me through 'til my glasses arrive (hoping by Friday). Little bit uncomfortable, but ok for the moment. Anyway, how's the store going? Will have to check it out again and spend up a little

Well I will have to pop in on a regular basis to keep up then if you have chatty days, otherwise I'll end up pages behind! It will take me a bit to remmber everyone and their names etc.

I am not keen on catching up on 109 multiple page threads to get to know you all, so I'll start from today onwards lol. Too much reading for me otherwise!!

Are you all from all over aus or mainly one state? I am in central victoria. I'm 26, married for almost 5 yrs, and have 2 kids. DH is 32, we have been together for 11 years. DS was born 4th september 2006, DD born 11 June 2008. We are self employed, and I am effectively a SAHM, I go to work to do bookwork a couple of arvo's a week, DS goes to grandparents for the afternoon, some arvo's mum has both my kids, when it's my inlaws, they only have DS and D stays with me at the workshop (we are tradespeople and have a workshop with an office that I hide in to do bookwork)

So that pretty much sums me up! There is not alot to get to know about me.

Cool Mich! Can I ask roughly where in central Vic? I'm in the outer eastern suburbs, near Mt Dandenong.
There's some of us from Vic, Queensland, WA, NSW and even SA and Tas when they have time!

The other side of Melb to you Nelle, up in the country, near the Bendigo area. (have you even heard of bendigo? we are so the country compared to Melb! lol) About an hour and a bit the other side of melb cbd, but not as far north as you Maz.

Congratulations Rach, what exciting news!! Hope all goes well for you and the months ahead treat you kind.

I struggle to navigate around this forum, can't find the pregnancy section to see details, how far along are you?

One of my friends is due any day now, well she is 4 days overdue now, it's sooo exciting, I can't wait for the news, I am so sure she's going to have a boy! She has a girl already.

2 kiddies is it for us, and I can't help but notice just how fast my baby is growing up compared to DS when he was this age, she is doing things faster than DS did. Babies don't stay tiny little babies for that long really do they!!

Oh Rach that's wonderful news!!!!!!!!! Fingers crossed for an incredibly sticky bubby. ETA - and a natural conception!!!! WTG!!!!! Those HCG levels are looking awesome as well

Mich - just click on Rach's username, a little menu will come up and select Find All Rach75's posts, you'll find the thread in the last few posts she's done, much easier that way.

Oh rach thats so wonderful!!! My fingers are crossed as you so deserve this!!!
Sharls, no having glasses is the worst thing. I am legally blind without mine.lol When i use to get new pairs id have to get someone else to reccommend a pair that would look good as i could never see.lol Oh and go ahead and spend big.lol I honestly dont mind.lol I do do customs depending on what u want. I just have gone and bought CHRISSY'S papers to start her album. Chrissy this one is extra special!!! I have also completed 2 new dress's for a client to check out. They on facebook. Would love opinions.
Ok off to spotlight(again) and also the fairy shop if Millana lets me as she has a cold...

Caddie - how do you find the time??!!

Welcome Mich. I think you mustl ive near me. I am in Gisborne.

    HUGE CONGRATS RACH.

Mega tired and one very clingy baby who REFUSES to sleep unless on one of us, or touching me in bed. Any hints/advice? I hate cosleeping, but it is the only way to get through the night atm

Caddie - Yep I'm exactly the same. Hate picking out glasses, 'cause I get them and put them on, and then go - geez, did I really pick those ones!?! Yesterday was good though, I'd put contacts in before I picked out the frames. I saw those dresses you did for that client, one of them I really liked, can't remember which one, will check them out again soon.

Meg - Ambah was the same for a very long time, just do what works for you both. One tip you could try, hug a pillow behind her as you are putting her down, then she still feels that contact and it's not as much of a shock as going from being cuddled to just lying there on a mattress. Also putting one of your shirts (that you've worn) in her bed with her, swaddling, or maybe a hammock? We ended up co-sleeping most of the time, just 'cause that's what worked for us. Took awhile for DH to get used to, but by the end he'd be asking where she was if he woke up and she wasn't in with us

Having a shocker here too! Thank goodness the boys are in bed, I was at boiling point before! Everything going wrong.

Better not waste the silence for too long though, we've got people for dinner.

Meg- We're doing the co-sleep thing, much easier, I don't have to get up then. Df is out and Em sleeps on his side but close to me. Shar had some good suggestions there.

Mich- I find 2nd time going faster, think being busy all the time with 2 everything goes quicker. Everyone was convinced I was having a boy and ended up a girl, won't be much longer for your friend.

Hope those with tantrumy children get some peace. Maybe its the change in the weather!

    Welcome Mich.

Rach-a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS, sednding heaps of sticky vibes your way.

Well Eithan is a turd all the time. Constant tantrums, massive ones. Turns out he is having apneotic episodes of a night, so not getting the sleep that he should. This is most likely caused by his HUGE tonsils. Which touch his punching bag and leave about 2mm that you can see through. They arent even infected, so we are off to speak to an ear nose and throat specialist. It's been a bit scary knowing that he stops breathing, but we will get through it.

Nice to hear about the new baby Girls, not long before River arrives, how are you feeling Anna?

ETA:Nice to hear about Finny too!

    Take care ladies.
