A sleep in does sound nice, if i knew how to sleep in.. just cant really do it anymore.. was hping for someone to cook me a nice breaky but that went out the windw about 30 min ago... grrr men suck sometimes
Thought id pop in and see how youre all doing.
We're doing really well here. We resently moved into a bigger much better house. Has a fireplace which im loving at the moment. And we have a seperate "toy room" for Jesse and Keira so we dont have to have their toys in the lounge room any more. They also have a lovely big yard and Jesse is inlove with his cubby house and sand pit. Both kids had no problems moving which was great. They are just best buddies. They play so well together, have never had a fight and just love each other to bits. I love it.
Things are going really well for me. My medication has helped me so much with my anxiety. Have been getting into cake decorating with my girlfriend. Some of you may have seen my pics on facebook. We're actually going to start a business once we do our course next term. Really looking forward to it. Its something that im really loving doing.
Could not be happier with my life at the moment! Hmmm well maybe if i won lotto..
Meg.. thanks for you message hun. Was nice to hear from you. How are you going with James and TT? Jesse does wees on the potty in the shower and will sit on the toilet at preschool but thats about it. Still not interested. Honestly im not phased. Its too cold atm for me to really pursue it. I think ill just wait until winters past and focus on it more then. Did you DH have any problems with getting the referral? My gf's DH wants to get it but their doc wont give them a referral until hes 35. Hes only 29 atm. Hows James going with Emilia? I have to book Jesse in for his next MCHN check up. Hes going to need to go to speech therapy too as he still has a strong lisp. Good luck with the sleep school.. hope it helps.
Shell.. oh im so sorry to hear about your FIL. Did they come up with a plan for him? My FIL is still battling on. Looks like a little frail old man but hes hanging in there for the time being. Thats lovely of Ash. Hows Ash today? In the past just before Jesse has come down with something, the day before he usually always plays up or is stubborn. I wonder if she just wasnt feeling so great is why she played up?
AnnaT.. Jesse's still in nappies. As i said to meg, im really not phased atm. Hes so not interested. Im going to wait out until Winter is passed to try it out with him.
Re preschool. NSW is a bit different i think. But Jesse will just stay in the day care he goes to until he starts big school. Hes going 1 day a week atm but will put him in 2 days as of next year. He'll be starting big school (kindergarten) in 2012. Hes going to go to our local public school which is next door to his current preschool. Its the best in the area. Both DH and i went to public schools through year 12 so we're happy with the public system. DH grew up in this area so we'd also like to send him to the same high school DH went to.
Helen.. hows life with thie twins hun? I bet youre busy. My gf has twins and i dont know how she does it.. you should be proud of yourself Btw i love your ticker!! Awww poor Eithan. My sister had to have hers out when she was a baby too. Hopefully he wont have to go down that road. Hoping Tallulah catches up soon.
Jodi.. bet the kids will love the Wiggles!
Nelle.. congrats on your new house! How exciting!
Chrissy.. congrats on your kids getting into the agency! Did they say when youll hear about when they will get work?
Maz.. Hope Vy and Mateauz are feeling better soon. How will they fix her over bite if they need to?
Belle.. how have you been hun?
Laurin.. hope you have a nice holiday.
Oooww how exciting ladies. Not long until your meet up!! Cant wait to see the photos. Wish i could have met you all. Maybe one day.. perhaps that day i win lotto
Jesse still very much needs a day sleep and he actually enjoys it. He even asks for one come 1.30pm if hes not in bed already. So we all read a book and both kids go down for their nap. Theyre both great at settling themselves so makes life a bit easier for me.
We'll be having another baby yet.. though DH doesnt want the snip at all. I think he thinks the same Shell, that it will change things. lol. Doesnt bother me. Id love to have 4 kids lol.
Jesse is still loving his preschool and swimming. We changed swim schools he was in as i was so sick of singing the hokey pokey and the wheels on the bus and other baby games. I want him to learn to swim. He learnt more from my in the other pool. So the place we're going to now im not even in the pool and just after 1 week it is so much better. Instructors are so much better also.
Jesse i must admit has been a really good kid since Keira has come along. I think he has alot of his father's traits in him. If you ever have to tell him no or not to do something once and thats it. He doesnt complain. He looooves being a little helper. If theres any job he can do for you he will do it. He and i also have a great bond which i love. He says i love you mummy.. sounds more like "wubboo mummy" and is definately a mummys boy.
Keira on the other hand is very miss independance. She is addicted to baths! As soon as dinners finished she says "bahh bahh" continuously. Then she squeels and carried on out of happiness while youre walking into the bathroom. If you go into the bathroom with her and walk back out.. oh she throws the biggest tanty!!! Throws her head back and shakes her fists. So funny. And she likes to spend most of her day crawling in and out of the bathroom. So i think we have a little fish on our hands.
Well thats about it for me for the moment. Both kids are still sleeping from their nap so think i might go watch a movie of fox.
Hope everyone is well and taking care of yourselfs.
Funny you should mention the Wiggles kel, that's the dvd the girls are watching ATM! They're hooked on it.
So great to hear you're doing well and you've settled in well to your new house. Jesse & Keira sound like Nina & Emily, they love each other to bits. Nina's a very protective big sister, always making sure Emily's alright, feeds her (even when Emily doesn't want it), gets her dummy, gets her bottle, the list goes on!
I absolutely love your cake decorating talent! I see the pics on facebook. You know, ANY TIME you want to come up this way and decorate a cake for one of the girls birthday's, I'd be more than happy to provide a bed for you
ETA: I love your ticker pic Kel.
And a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIAM (sorry, it's a little late Chrissy). I hope you had a wonderful day celebrating his birthday. I know Craig would have celebrating with you all in spirit
Heath won't be getting the snip, ever. For 2 reasons, firstly, he doesn't want to, and secondly he has a medical condition which prevents him for doing so. So even if he did want to one day, he can't. We found out about that when I was pg with Emily. Oh well, we'll just have to pop out a few more kids
Not much happening up this way. Some of you know I won a wardrobe makeover this week A stylist comes in, checks out my wardrobe and gets rid of anything that doesn't suit (which will be everything lol) and takes me a shopping spree and I get $500 worth of clothes!!! I'm stoked, I really need some new clothes.
Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend so far.
