AnnaT - Sometimes a babies tired signs are very similar to the 'I am hungry' ones....eg: rooting for boobie, grizzling etc. Are you waiting for Jett to cry or are you trying to attach him when he is only grizzling and grunting? I was confusing Paige's tired signs for hunger, and trying to feed her...this just meant she was always only feeding for a short time, not getting any hindmilk therefore being windy and grizzly, unsettled therefore grizzling more, unable to settle herself...and the cycle would continue. I gave her her first formula top up this morning, as I just needed to be able to see that she was getting enough...I also am needing to express about 20mls of boobiejuice before a feed so I know she is eventually getting to the hindmilk.

Well ladies, Mummy Daddy and Paige survived (only just) their first mini family outing. We went to Hubby's 56 yo Aunty's wedding...lots of smoking and noise...so I hid in one of the bedrooms pretending to feed her...and only allowing close family to come in and cuddle. We only stayed around 1-2hours...but we did it!!
