Hi Meg, welcome to Sept baby buddies
Im AnnaT, my son Jett was born the same day as your James! Great day to have a baby! I live in country Victoria. Look forward to getting to know you.

Happy Month birthdays to all our growing babies (Belle, Xander and Alexander!)

OMG I went to bed at 9:30 last night but was up and down all night again. This waking during the night is killing me to the point where Im thinking of investing in some phenergan to get him to sleep longer than 3hrs at a time. He's got to start doing it before I get to far along in this pregnancy or Im going to need to be committed. ANNA! Believe me hun you think your tired now you'll be exhausted once you get pregnant again with Xander waking during the night! I forgot how tiring any stage of pregnancy was because I got the opportunity to not only get 10hrs sleep a night but also nice long naps in the afternoon. We're going to need uppers by the 3rd trimester

Bludgy day today again I think. Its overcast and cold. Hopefully J will sleep like he did the last two days for 3.5hrs in the afternoon so maybe I can have a nap.

Jett loves music too, always has, but then I played it to my tummy everyday of my pregnancy. His all time favourite artist is Johnny Cash, but he is obssessed with Fall Out Boys "This aint a scene" song lol He'll groove to anything though. We've spent many an afternoon dancing to Channel V or sitting on the couch snuggling and singing to the music.

You are joking arent you AnnaT, otherwise you've got me worried.

Anna-no AF here yet, Eithan slept well but Bella didnt and I was up to her instead. Oh well.

    Better go.

AnnaT - i am sure that you are joking but just so you know, its not really a joking matter! they do not reccommend the use of pherergan under 2, its can actually cause breathing problems etc.. check out the website for the risks!

If you are needing help with settling issues maybe contact tresillian or something and get help before you think you are going to have a huge problem with your disturbed sleep. as you know with pregnancy it only gets
    worse!

Helen - you are the same as me is its not one kid its the other! at least we can laugh about it, hey.. just think when the kids are 18 we will be waiting up for them to come home! and stressing about it! will we as adults and parents ever get some sleep! lol

hope that you all have a great day..

oh, and if anyone wants a postcard from NYC ( yes i am going next week! ) then email me your address or you wont get one! anna.mark@hotmail.com

    xoxo

    I'm hoping the same thing!

Helen - I've just resigned myself that I wont be getting a decent nights' sleep for the next few years (at least). Oh well, part of being a parent I guess.

Wow girls, a thread and a half so my personals will be crap! Congratulations to Annat and Jodi (and Maz, but I already congratulated you, but have another dose!) on your pregnancies. And welcome back Ellie and welcome Meagan.

We had a very crapful week while Sam was home.... the sleep was awful (i have so much respect for Anna**, Shell, Laurin and all those who have had terrible sleepers all along, not just new found alertness as they get older) but that all said, I think we might have had a break thru... though don't know if it was the drugs (only dimetapp and panadol, not illicit drugs!!!!) or the fact that we put a heater in her room as the paed told me to try and keep her room at 24 degrees... so last night Ains only woke twice (both before i went to bed) and slept thru till 8.30am. the heater tho, may be too little too late as i am taking A back to the doc this morning as i think she may have bronchiolitis again. She's back asleep now so i can get online (let me tell you, this is going to be harder now (gettling online).. while i was packing the dishwasher ains climbed on to the hearth of the fire while it was lit..... talk about heart in mouth, but seems it was hot enough that she stopped before a MAJOR disaster)

My mother's day was the saving grace of the week though... i got spoilt rotten with pressies, and a beautiful card (which was actually from Clancy protesting that this was not my first mother's day at all as he is nearly three.... poor neglected puppy!) and three figurines, one willow tree of a mother nursing a bub, and two brass ones of a mum cuddling a small child then a daughter hugging her mum as well as a book, chocs and some angel figurines. so spoilt. sam made so much effort which was exactly what i needed.

so that's my catch up. rach and vic, glad you liked your tshirts. thanks for the photos! will send an sms to anna** if things go downhill with Ains so you can keep her in your thoughts or prayers, but we're staying positive that it is nothing (of course sam went back to work this morning )

    Hi all,
Went shopping this morning just for few items clothes for Ash and do grocery shopping and I ended up spending $250! I nearly died and its not like there is heaps to show for it, then Ash falls asleep in car on way home, wakes up as soon as I stop engine and thinks thats it (she only had 5 mins), she is in bed now but not asleep.

We had a better night, this time when Ash woke at 2am it only took half hour to resettle without a feed, so hopefully soon she won't bother waking and go from 10:30ish til 5am.

Rikki- Thats great Ainsleigh got the all clear, hopefully she'll start sleeping better again, sounds like she is on the improve though.

*Annie*- I am so jealous! How long do you go for, I definately want a postcard, I'll e-mail you.

Anna**- thank god you've finished, I was getting tired thinking bout you up that late! How did Xander go with you being away? Was he a little more unsettled at night?

Megan- Hi and welcome, i used to do gymbaroo with Ash but now I do home gymbaroo, in our own sorta way.

Laurin- Check out the sleep clinic, I know you don't like CCing but maybe you can find a similar but different way? For example instead of going in after x amount time to comfort, go in depending on how upset she is regardless of how long since you were last in there. For your own health and sanity prolly be good for you to try out the school.

Hello to everyone else, I think my Ash has gone to sleep now, took so long and I wanted her up now to go see a house open for inspection, oh well I'm not gonna wake her.

Happy Bday Jodi, I hope that you get spoilt rotten.

AnnaT-Glad to hear that you were joking, I think you had a few of us a bit nervous.

Caddie-I hope the girls start to settle for you soon.

Rikki-Glad to hear that Ainsleigh got the all clear, but so sad to hear that she is still unwell.

Belle-Thanks for the mini chat this morning.

Maz-I hope that your headache goes soon.

Anna-I hope that you get a few good nights rest in before the tumultuos(sp?) months of pregnancy, sending baby dust your way.

Well Eithan is in bed and for once I have a bit of energy, so I am going to tidy in relative peace and quiet (Bella's up) while I can.

Oh I will be back on later I have a few questions to ask to try and get an idea for my pressie, so if you could all answer so that you dont know who I am asking that would be great. Just got to think of the right questions to ask.

    Love

    Happy Birthday Jodi

Paige had a nice big sleep today 3 hours!! That hasn't happened for months. Yesterday it was a 20 min sleep all day. This must be the age where they don't like sleeping, I hope it passes really quick.
